I'm two days out of carpal tunnel endoscopic surgery and you have given me more information than the medical staff.

Amen! I have had so much myofascial pain through the years and nothing has helped more then the Guasha tools- loosening the muscles is one thing but getting to the fascia really releases the areas bound- I remember many many years ago- I had suffered upper trap pain for years and I went to an OT conference where they had the booth set up and one of them had the astim tools- as you mentioned very expensive- they asked for volunteers and I was the first to raise my hand- it worked- then years later I developed "fibromyalgia pain" and I went to a massage therapist that used the Guasha tool and it was wonderful getting all that bound fascia broken up- hurt like heck but the results were good. But you know what I learned too- to avoid the pain- God! Stress - the constant firing to the muscles causes overuse - the muscles become stressed and scream "you are overworking me" not because of actual work but because of an imbalanced nervous system - we are not made to carry all these stressors!

Agree! Stress definitely contributes to our pain and causes our nervous system to become imbalanced. So glad you like Guasha!

The tool used in the video looks thinner than the ones on the link. Can you tell me which exact tool this is?

The name of the tool I have is called Jade Gua Sha S shape. I purchased it many years ago and cannot seem to find the exact one anymore. However this kit has the same size and style as the one I am using in the video- amzn.to/3XjcRPh
