I absolutely love all these videos with unique and niche massage and treatment tools, so interesting yet so relaxing! More random tools please!! Keep up the fantastic work!
Lovely tutorial! I'm a massage therapist of over 35 years, and this is a great self-care option! My co-worker suggested using a China soup spoon, and it works well!
Thanks! With your industry experience, I’ll happily accept this 😊 I’ve never tried spoon methods (I’ve seen videos), so I’ll definitely check it out 👍🏻
Great idea because it's all about loosening muscles and boosting circulation. It is very relaxing (unless someone took it to the extreme of super redness!) :)
You can use gua sha on all body parts. From the face down to the feet. Except on te back you’ll need a hand from a partner, friend or anybody else you prefer..
You’d be better treating your eczema effectively before attempting this as this isn’t going to do anything for it. Ask your GP as a starting point & take a look at Alison Young’s website too as she’s an industry professional who has eczema herself & has helpful videos 😊
That’s an interesting question. Not that I’m aware of as they are intended for other outcomes. Might be worth asking a physio as they deal with fluid retention and muscle manipulations in a different way to a massage therapist, so they will have a perspective we don’t 😊
@@homespabeauty I didn't want to offend you. I just wanted to follow your video from the beginning. It was helpful and only one about hand massage I found. Also it would be helpful if you shown which part of gua sha you used in certain moments... It wasn't always clearly visible... You have beautiful hands btw - so either young or it works or both. Take care.
@@ArtDesignHobby Thanks. I’m sure there will be excellent demos out there which go much deeper into it than this one. They might be on different platforms such as Instagram or TikTok but it’ll be worth seeking them out to find exactly what you’re looking for 😊

I bought the guasha after you did the facial demo using it and I love it. Now I am going to try this on my hands. Thanks for this video 😊
Happy to help! I'm planning more demo videos for it too, so that we can get maximum use from our Gua Sha tools :)
Looks relaxing. I think people who, for example, type a lot or paint could benefit from this.

Definitely!
Thank u so muchh for the tutorial ❤❤❤
Happy to help! 😊
This was really helpful! I do a lot of painting and have been struggling with lots of hand cramps. Will definitely try this out :)
I hope it works well for easing your muscles! :)
Can we try this massage on the feet using the Gua sha as well. I sometimes have pins and needles on my feet.
Yes, it can be lovely on the feet 👍🏻 Just make sure you know what’s causing those pins & needles & speak to your doctor first.

Thanks for your response 👍
Beautiful and informative use of the Gua Sha! Please, more videos of spoken hand techniques! So relaxing, Elaine!
Thank you!
Thanks Jason! I'm planning more DIY videos so that we can be super relaxed without needing a helper more often :)
It is relaxing when somebody doing it for you to be relax
So true 👍🏻
Can you do this on the hand if you have eczema? Would it help decrease eczema?

Do exercises help to slim the hand? Or just relax

@@homespabeauty aha okay thank you ❤️🩹
Thanks for making this - I tried it
Hope you found it helpful 😊
Great Info,I Have Inflammation In My Thumb. 👏🏾😃❤️
I’m so happy it can help - achy hands are not fun! 👍🏻
You sure she's not the voice from the movie"Brave"
I wish! 😆
I’d have Siri turned on if she had your voice
I hope Apple has a wee read of this lol - Scottish Siri is ready and waiting :)
omg yes. her voice is so soothing
I was advice to only scrap one direction at a time not back and forth.
Like so many treatments, there’s more than one way to approach it & you can adapt to suit each individual situation.
Check out Dr. Mondragon. She uses it in her practice. She does it in both directions.
I’m always interested in seeing different styles of approach so I’ll definitely check that out 👍🏻
Too much talking at the beginning...
Sorry you don’t understand why we create these videos. There are plenty of channels you’ll love where they don’t speak.
