I really think I would prefer a gua sha tool that has a more rounded side edge like your favorite one. Im going to check it out. My favorite part is the back of my head and neck stroking. Thank you.

    Question - what do you recommend as the Gua Sha lubricant for someone with combination/dry skin, acne prone, and a bit sensitive? Is there an oil or moisturizer you’d recommend for my type of skin?
    I’m concerned about using an oil, afraid that it could cause pore blockage and more acne. There are only 3 moisturizers I’ve had success with: Ole Henriksen’s Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer (my best one), Paula’s Choice Clear Oil-free Moisturizer, and Sunday Riley’s ICE (if I use sparingly).

      I feel more pressure release when I use downward motions on the back of the neck. The thyroid issue comes into play with stimulation from devices like radiofrequency or nanocurrent/microcurrent but isn't an issue with gua sha.

    Since this is an older video, you may not see my question/comment. But I’m wondering..after Gua Sha-Ing, your face has oils on it. Do you wash that off? Or do you layer your skin care products over the top? Seems a waste to wash it off but the oil is a bit heavier than serums, so seems the products wouldn’t be as effective if layered over oil. 🤷🏻‍♀️

      That's a great question, did you ever get a answer to it?

    Thank you for sharing! I bought a gua sha tool but have been a little bit intimated with getting started. This was very helpful.

    You’ve said before that you have rosacea. Has a derm told you that it was ok for you to do this?

    Do you do this with the oil before or after washing your face?

    • @StephanieMarie
      @StephanieMarie  3 місяці тому

      If I do it in the am, I personally do it before because I don't like the feel of oil on my face during the day. But those with dry skin may prefer to leave the oil on their skin

    Has anyone ever used one for sciatica?? I am going through an episode so bad I went to ER a few nights ago.. and thought about getting mine out to use.
    I need to use mine more though overall on my face!!!!

      Not sure if gua sha would work for that but have you ever tried reflexology? I tried it on one of my former clients and she said it really helped when her sciatica flared.
