You provide amazing tools and resources for parents that homeschool! Have you considered sharing Spanish learning tools as well? We would love to partner with you! ❤️
A lot of your choices I also use for my son. I also really like IEW but we are using Writing and Rhetoric this year and really enjoy the kind of conversation that happens. Have you tried that writing curriculum?
Thanks for a very helpful video. My son will be in the 6th grade this year and it is our first time using IEW. I watched many vidoes about it and I am a little nervous. I liked that you said you could skip around the lessons. So for a beginner, any advice on how to approach/start the IEW? We are starting with Structure and Style year 1 level A.Thanks again.
My best advice is just to take it slow. With structure & style we took our time and spaced out lessons (watched the dvd one day, did the outline the next, and then took as many days as we needed to draft a paper and write final drafts). I also let my kids dictate to me if they felt overwhelmed writing. Hope you enjoy - we have loved every level we’ve covered so far!
@@EverydayHomeschooler Thank you for your prompt reply and a reassuring wonderful advice. I will take your advice then and take it easy on them and myself. Also, I love the DVD idea SO MUCH. In my house, I am an old fashion mom who doesn't allow social media or internet. Unless it is for a research paper/holiday or just simple games supervised in the living room once a week!
I know this is an old video. For anyone using Wordly Wise, are the student workbooks sufficient for homeschool? Teacher's book necessary? Thanks. This looks like a great resource as it's a weaker area for one kid.
Nope! If you use Gather ‘Round you only NEED to add math. But we choose to supplement with Language Arts and some other things. This is one of my favorite things about GR - you can add to it, subtract from it, and mold it into what works best for your family.
Very nice curriculum review!
The Bible Study, DVD player, calculator and planner are so nice 😀
Looking forward to more videos 🍎☕️
Thanks!!!
This was great! Thank you for sharing!
I can't wait for all the upcoming videos!!
Thanks! So much planned for the summer and fall!
I also have a 12 year old so this is great. Looking forward to seeing the planners video.
On my list to create this summer so stay tuned. Thanks for watching!
This was helpful while planning for my 6th grader! Love your shirt btw!

We have not used it, but I always stop at the booth and flip through it at conferences. It looks like a very solid choice.

@@nomoralsnolife did you end up doing level 1A? we're new as well..i have a 5th and 6th grader coming up and am wondering if I should use 1A for both
@@peachy_reina I am using that level with my rising 6th grader, and it is working great for us.
Helpful video! Looking at IEW do you think it would be worth it to have the DVDs with Andrew Pudewa?
We love the structure and style courses with the dvds
Which video shows her planner?

I got the answer keys to tests and the book. Mostly of it I can do myself but some words I’m really not sure. It’s also faster to grade ❤
Which Bible study resource would you recommend starting with? Exploring the Bible or Meeting with Jesus?
Exploring the Bible
Do you need all of this if you are doing Gather around?
