I cook the noodles ahead of time, let them cool and dry out a bit, then put into a freezer bag. Add the cooked noodles to the thawed soup and they’ll warm up when you reheat it.

Did I miss high school curriculum video?

Like most everyone else, I do all the cutting and prep ahead of time, and it pays off immensely. We're on Level 2 of AAR and Level 1 of AASp with my first kiddo (and also completed Level 1), and it makes completing lessons so, so easy each week. Plus, now I'm ready for Kiddo #2 to use it in a few years.

I love AAR but I did have to use it a little differently to fit my son's learning style. And I had to add in explode the code.

I was saying through the screen…..”do the cutting now!!!!” for the very reasons you stated. 😊 It is a labor of love prepping All About Reading but once all the prep is done, it is very much an open and go curriculum that I have loved using with two of my four children! I did use the letter tiles app with my second child to use this program and that was nice to not have to manage all the tiles, but the tiles are certainly a huge part of the program and very fun for the student to use. I hope this goes well with Ezra. This is one of my favorite curriculums of all time ❤

I just want to share as an encouragement. I have an autistic daughter. Her educational Journey was very varied. She repeated some grades, some grades were at Public School,some grades were homeschool,some were at private resources. What helped me was that they told me did she just needed to be done by 21. So that was my goal. I didn't worry about grades grades. Just the final goal. High-school had some downs until I found ACE and a School in Ohio who would help manage the transcript. You make it work what fits best your child. God will guide you.

What ages would you say are for each grade if a child is born in August starting with 6th grade??

Chuck your kids work out? There are things I wished I had kept when my kids were growing up (I homeschooled for 10 years 40 years ago), so I wish I had taken photos of those things before chucking them away. My daughter now takes photos of the work she thinks she would like to keep and puts them in a file on a USB drive. She can always go through them at any time and delete those she doesn't want to keep after all.

I have books I wrote that have homeschoolers as the protagonists on my channel. However, my books on my channel are for an older audience. I never seen homeschooled characters on TV, in books, ect when growing up. 👸🏼🧚🏼‍♀🧜🏼‍♀

My grandparents’ neighbor has a 4 year old daughter that turns 5 next month!! And her mom plans on homeschooling her for 2025/26 school year

Thank you for being so thorough! I am currently homeschooling 4 out of 5 of our children this year! Our middle daughter is autistic. I fall short by putting her in a box but praise the Lord our oldest is gifted with looking at special needs children as no different and is very encouraging. The Lord is preparing her for her future to helping and advocating for our special little ppl ! “Help your child as much as you can!” I know this but great reminder!❤

Love seeing someone making chili similar to me. We don't do spicy stuff either. These recipes look good. It's just hubby and I now, but making smaller freezer packages works well for us. Chunks of chicken is our preference also. Thanks for sharing. Soup seaso. 24-25 will soon be upon us.

I love those pencils, I use those for myself. The led is so smooth and I enjoy writing with these.

We used Sheet Protectors for our AAR prep and I put it in a 3 ring binder.

I think you and I have a very similar homeschool style- I am using some of those same items for Lillianne this year.😊
