    Hey man love your videos, being in Hawaii we are unfortunate to not see new products till much later than the continental US and by then we have to wait for a long time before we actually can receive or buy things. I love to watch new videos and liked to try to keep up with everyone but have to either wait for shipping or delays because we are in Hawaii. Due to shortage of sporting goods companies, we have to look online for equipment's etc... so we are at a disadvantage when trying to look for new things. Hopefully, we will be able to get a hold of the original EVO nxt or the ncaa one sooner than later.

      @@Love2Hoop Hiya: so I shared your video with a friend and he asked me to ask you this silly question; I know its a long shot but if you didn't already give away your older evo nxt ball yet, he asked that you consider giving it away to us in HI we would share it in our public gym with the younger hoopsters if you already did then no worries, but to also consider us in your future giveaways, he really enjoyed your video and we continue to look forward to more interesting content from you, I have a cousin and his 3 sons living in Renton WA since I saw your intro with seattle in the background, I assuming you reside in Seattle, and shared your video with them too, they really enjoy hooping it up in renton.

    I have, for some reason, such an interest in basketball equipment. You are one of the only UA-camrs that gives great reviews on basketballs and have helped me make a decision multiple times! I was going to pull the trigger on the Evo but couldn't find it anywhere. My local Scheels had it for size 6 only. I ended up pulling the trigger on the Nike Elite Championship 8.0 and absolutely love it.
    Keep up the good work on these basketball reviews and I enjoy the Vlogs!

    I just got my Wilson evo nxt ncaa a few weeks ago and I can’t miss with it. The grip is amazing and I hope the grip last longer. I had the Wilson solution but the grip only lasted for 6 months ( I was playing indoor only with that ball). Let’s hope this new evo nxt has more grip durability.

    • @Love2Hoop
      @Love2Hoop  Рік тому

      I hope so too! If the ball smooths out and loses a little bit of grip it'll still be a great ball to shoot with but I understand totally what you mean. The grip on this basketball for shooting is almost perfect!

    I bought the OG right before everything closed down for quarantine. I thought it was going to be the new thing. Loved the softness. But after 3 or so years I finally brought it out to take a break from my leather basketballs and I just didn’t love it. Not to mention, the evolution is pretty much the only game ball here, so I’d rather just get a new one of those.
    I’m loving the official Wilson nba ball. I’m surprised by how many people don’t like it. It gets called a “sh*tty” ball quite often. Blows my mind because I’ve gotten so used to the stiff leather feel that the composite balls just feel so weird and squishy now.
    I want to find another Spalding nba ball because I genuinely love the consistent shape of that ball when shooting. My Spalding model m completely wore out within a few months, but the pebbling was less raised on that than the previous NBA ball.

      I look forward to your comments just as much as you look forward to new videos from me haha. At this point I've heard all the comments about the Wilson official, and most of the comments are right. It's almost impossible to get someone to like the basketball if they haven't spent time using it because the feel is so different than everything else on the market.

      @@Love2Hoop its a good ball but nowhere near the level of the adidas pro 3.0, nike championship 2.0 or nxt or baden elite. I trained with the dime and baden for a month and I was impressed with it but more I used it the slicker it got and found myself using the baden. Got the adidas and nike in and those other two immediately got sold. The ADIDAS 3.0 seriously is the truth then the Nike comes in 2nd for me personally. As a college assistant having had used dang near them all (we currently use the tf 1000 legacy due to NAIA official ball) the adidas is the one all my guys want to use daily, I don't have an Instagram but if you wanna send an ex Hooper and now coach chasing the dream a ball I'd gladly accept lol but for real your videos are great especially how expensive the world has become I hate seeing people getting buyers remorse

    I still have the first version of the EVO NXT. I fully agree with you bro. The first version to me feels lighter than the new one and I think it's because they just wanted to add a little more weight to it for college players. that's just my theory. I love your videos man I would love to hoop with you one day!!! I noticed Wilson changed look of the word setup near the Air Pump needle hole too. the newer EVO is Circular, the old one has the letters placed horizontally. I've hooped with both but honestly I prefer the OG one. idk maybe it's because I'm just so used to the lightness of it. I'm glad you made a video on this because I was waiting for you to compare the two because I believe people that love hoops and basketball equipment like you and I should know the difference.

    • @Love2Hoop
      @Love2Hoop  Рік тому +1

      Real hoopers can pick up a ball and notice the differences right away. That probably why when I try to use the Wilson NBA they ain’t going for it, they want the evolution instead. The EVO even gets strange looks out here. Where you located my boy? I might be in a city near youu

      Everyone here loves the wilson evolution (the ball i dislike the most it's terrible always getting sweaty and slippery) because it seems many people are afraid of change. the Evolution has been the standard ball for High School and Pick Up for more than 20 years lol so I understand why people don't want to change up balls but there's so many other basketballs that are better than the Evolution (IMO) .

    Late to this video but I just got the NCAA EVO nxt about a month ago. I grew up using the Baiden because here in Nebraska we use that as the game ball. I also used the evolution ball for YEARS. First run using the NXT was horrible the ball was SUPER grippy and I couldn’t make a shot, the feel to me is completely different from the evolution. It’s a lot lighter But as I break it more it’s better better for sure. I have always been a ball handler/shooter adjusting to this ball is a bit of a challenge for sure(shooting wise) I bet after I fully break it in it will be a great ball. So far it’s not to bad but I needed to update which ball I played with. I cannot find the Wilson Solution ANYWHERE so Evo NXT it is

    • @Love2Hoop
      @Love2Hoop  Рік тому

    @k.w5804 Рік тому +2

    I bought the Evo NCAA one a month ago. I have weird feeling about them - I love shooting them but not necessarily drilling them. They feel a bit hard too. They are really good with moistures and dust though. I still miss my evolution from time to time, just for how soft and smooth it feels in hand. But it doesn't do too well with dusty court, and I need to be warmed up and my hands need to be a bit sweaty to have great grip with the evolution.

    • @Love2Hoop
      @Love2Hoop  Рік тому

      Some of those same issues I've had too. I couldn't agree more about how the NCAA does well with moisture and dusty courts, but the consistency in shooting the ball (doing drills) makes this a little tough to get used to at first. Like any basketball there's a learning curve but man this one is good and bad and mid at the same time.

    • @k.w5804
      @k.w5804 Рік тому

      @@Love2Hoop man you speak my mind. I have not got completely used to dribbling the ball especially when I need to dribble hard (for a finish) or initial movement (drop and move). Like you said it’s a great mid and bad ball all at the same time to different ppl. Or even to me on different days. I look at it as a “new experience”. But I wouldn’t advise someone with limited budget to get this and hope they’ll love it because it the latest and greatest from Wilson. Ppl still pick the evolution over evo nxt almost half of the time in my pick up games. Evolution or solution (if you can find one) is a safer bet for anyone who can only have one ball

    Hey just wondering but what’s the 3 letter thing on your Wilson ncaa evo nxt. It seems the ones being made from the V factory are worse than the N. I have 2 of these and the first one(N factory) had to be replaced because of a valve leak issue so I bought another one and this one was from the V factory and it felt nothing like my other one, the feel, everything about it was just off and the quality was not the same.

    Does the ncaa game ball really come in a bright neon color or is there a traditional black lettering for the logos? I mean I don’t necessarily dislike the neon yellow but I would think imo that it would be too bright when playing with it on the court.

      @Love2Hoop  9 місяців тому

      The official college version. When you first get them they feel virtually the same, but what I've found is that the NCAA gets a little heavier over time with the sweat and dirt from your hands getting into the composite leather. It turns it more into a Solution feel which I think is great.

      I expect a few guys this March Madness to lose the ball off of weird bounces or send the basketball OVER the backboard misjudging the weight and travel of the ball. I agree, I'm stlll not used to the dribble of the NCAA but I've finally figured out how to shoot with it 🤣
