    Thanks so much for this video! I am 58 years old and wfpb, but have been doing hiit training, and also daily intermittent fasting 18/6. I am going to experiment with your tips, and am excited to see how it goes. I don’t have weight to lose, but just want to have total food and exercise “freedom”! I love your videos!

    Fast and Fearless! This video is perfect timing for me today. I have believed that my metabolism was broken and been trying to figure out how to fix it. I have tried intermittent fasting, counting calories and all the macros, etc. Everything you have said here makes so much sense!! Of course our body knows what to do!     I love this video! And I love you Emmie. In all my years of trying to eat right, the SOS program has been my only successful experience. I think you have saved my life!! Certainly my health has improved greatly AND it’s been sustainable. Through SOS coaching, Masters, SOS Reboot, and now the Lifetime program. Started in 2021 and never looking back.     I have recently subscribed to your UA-cam channel and have had “The Starch Solution” book for a few years now but haven’t read through the entire book yet. I have stopped eating anything related to animals and gone onto the whole food plant based diet/lifestyle. I will have to watch each of your videos and learn how to become adventurous with meal planning and eating. As far as I’m aware, I don’t think that I have any metabolism problems such as that mentioned in the video. I enjoyed listening to the video, have replayed it a few times, and want to thank you for sharing everything with us.

    I love all this information. I wanted to ask for suggestions on how to make eating when your hungry work with work schedules. The times I might get hungry are not the times that I can take a break to stop and eat while working at my job. Love to hear some ideas for making this work. Also what about family meal times. Thanks

    You are a gift, Emmie! Fast and Fearless- and I would also add Free. It is very freeing to learn to really be in our bodies to listen to them and love and respect them. Also, not related to the awesome info, I know white clothing theme is typically your preference, and you always look great, but the color of the sweater you're wearing here is absolutely gorgeous on you.

I seem to be at a point where I just can't lose any more weight. I still feeling I would like to loose 10 more pounds. I will be 74 next month. Any suggestions. Thank you.

    Hi Emmie
    I've been eating starch solution style but i have been fasting .
    I have days where i don't feel so hot and i end up rushing to find somewhere to eat it's like a crash sorta .
    I just watched your video about metabolism being like log thrown in a fire and it make so much sense .
    Anyways i have been fasting because i get a little brain fog from eating early im wondering if it could be from fasting .
    I also get crashes if i eat to many fruits on an empty stomach.
    I'm guessing it's cause there is nothing to slow them down.
    Like yesterday i ate at 10 am .. early for me it was a banana and cuties and i worked out and felt good but then i ate pear and experienced a minor crash feeling and had to go find some starch.
    Could all this just be getting used to eating again I've been fasting for a few years just cause it's easier .. But im coming from a keto diet 2years ago and experienced side effects and high cholesterol and bad digestion.. So Its been a transition .
    I honestly haven't been eating in the day up until yesterday the only time I do is when i crash and I have to but I'm going to start
    I know it sounds really bad but I feel like I've messed up my whole relationship with food .
    I get a little less focused and forgetful if i eat in the morning .. usually oatmeal .I havent stuck with it long enough to see if it temporary.

    I tried intermittent fasting once and waited for the time when I would not be hungry in the morning until noon. That time never came I was hungry every single day for three months and I didn't lose any weight and I was like f this. Worst thing I've ever done to myself. It feels far more natural to eat when you're hungry, it's literally your body speaking to you and telling you what it needs.
