@@PlatyPlat123was just about to comment that the genderless armor is cool and all, but we actually have less armor designs now. Only 2 vs the 4 we had in all previous games (except rise I think). You win some, u lose some I guess.
@dragonbladeiv9224 You mean gunner sets? They got rid of it in world so I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean alpha and beta sets, how do you know Wilds won't have them? That hasn't been confirmed
I really need people to realise that the GPU isn’t the whole computer. Wilds’ Beta, and presumably the full game, is CPU limited. We know this because of how little performance increases on reducing visual fidelity. I’m worried people will see footage like this and go spend big bucks on a beefy GPU a day leave there R5 3600 in place. This game wants fast CPUs and lots of RAM.
For sure, and I didn't mean to make it sound like the GPU is the end all be all, but it's undeniable that modern GPU's can certainly pick up slack from aging CPU's. DLSS and FSR have been insane boons for a PC market that's been hitting our wallets pretty hard over the past few years. I do think it's time for an upgrade on the CPU end for me though. I appreciate the insight 👍
just wanted to mention, the trailer revealing the opening to the game was completely different to what we saw in the demo, there was a character running alongside the player and different dialogue so the final game might be different
Im telling you, whether or not Capcom can get the game running well on the majority of systems, is gonna make or break this one. Hate to say it, but Wilds doesn't have the luxury its predecessors had anymore, both graphically and performance wise. Being this ambitious without being able to meet basic visual appeal for general audiences is a risky game. I'm praying they get it right.
You’re absolutely right but I think it’ll run fine. The beta version we played was unoptimized compared to what capcom had at the time. With months to hear and react to what the community is saying I think we’re in good hands.. hopefully
I had a good experience on my PC but it is a bit of a beast being a rtx 4080 and in order not to bottle neck it a i9 14 gen and about 48 gig of ram game ran on one of my 4 tb m.2nvme drives She handled it like a champ with max settings And I could push 1440p 120 fps and stream on the same rig with a second monitor That stated she is a beast but if you are having problems with a rtx 3090 it might be ram or CPU bottle neck related since I had a buddy run it fine on both a rtx 3060 1080p 60fps and on his streaming rig with a rtx 4060 1080p 60fps both PC had a i7 13th Gen and 64 gigs of ram on a 2tb SATA SSD Soo I wander if you are running into a cpu bottle neck I had that issue on my last rig I had a rtx 3070 ti but I had a i7 11 th gen and 64 gigs of ram on a cramped h1 tower basically a slightly larger then an Xbox series x it size I believe was 18 liters in volume safe to say CPU bottle neck was not my only problem lol heat was another issue in that rig lol But yeah Nice video and optimization on the game might fix some of the issues also to mention as I always due that Beta was probably on a 6ish month older build then where they currently or at so it at least gives you a chance to poke at all of are PC weaknesses giving us an idea if we should change a part or 2 ahead of launch even knowing that the beta is not the optimization that they are aiming for it was more of like Hey it is in a playable state for Xbox PS5 and a decent amount of PC players let's let them have some fun so we can get data that we normally can't get from normal play testers on controlled PC build environment and get some player feed back as we start to head into the home stretch of debug optimization/ play adjustments stretch of the work as they probably at this point have it 90% complete on other aspects Usually the last 2 to 4 months of a games development period before release is spent in the optimization debug and final tweaks to the formula before going gold that is when they print the physical copies and place the base downloads as finished then they have a bit more time to work on optimizations and other final adjustments for a day one patch if needed
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for taking the time to write this out man ✌. Yeah, performance is definitely a matter of a bunch of different factors. It's certainly time to upgrade my CPU, but even if I don't then I at least know FSR will make Wilds a comfortable experience. This is on top of the fact that the full release should be a more optimized as well. I remember playing World on my Xbox and being kind of bothered by the performance. When I finally got a PC, playing World on there was a night and day difference. If there's anything that will get me to upgrade parts, it's gonna be Wilds.
Don't forget the new genderless armor! That's going to make fashion SO MUCH BETTER!
Fashion Hunters are gonna be eatin' real good in Gen 6 🍖
They got rid of b sets though

It's not genderless armor. There's still 2 versions, a male and female armor that can be mixed and matched regardless of which "body type" you pick.

True i have an 4060 ti and a 7600x and i was able to play 1440 ultra at 30fps native . With dlls quality and fg i could get 70-80 stable fps

I've played the beta on a gtx 1080 with frame generation, I was able to set the graphics almost to the max. it really is magic
I watched the first three episodes of Daima in theaters for the English dub premier. It was a bit slow at first but I loved the bar fight scene.
Nice, that must have been fun! The fight scenes have been absolutely excellent so far!
That the best Character criation of the series

30 hours in the beta, that should say something of the quality it was

She handled it like a champ with max settings And I could push 1440p 120 fps and stream on the same rig with a second monitor
That stated she is a beast but if you are having problems with a rtx 3090 it might be ram or CPU bottle neck related since I had a buddy run it fine on both a rtx 3060 1080p 60fps and on his streaming rig with a rtx 4060 1080p 60fps both PC had a i7 13th Gen and 64 gigs of ram on a 2tb SATA SSD
Soo I wander if you are running into a cpu bottle neck I had that issue on my last rig I had a rtx 3070 ti but I had a i7 11 th gen and 64 gigs of ram on a cramped h1 tower basically a slightly larger then an Xbox series x it size I believe was 18 liters in volume safe to say CPU bottle neck was not my only problem lol heat was another issue in that rig lol
But yeah Nice video and optimization on the game might fix some of the issues also to mention as I always due that Beta was probably on a 6ish month older build then where they currently or at so it at least gives you a chance to poke at all of are PC weaknesses giving us an idea if we should change a part or 2 ahead of launch even knowing that the beta is not the optimization that they are aiming for it was more of like Hey it is in a playable state for Xbox PS5 and a decent amount of PC players let's let them have some fun so we can get data that we normally can't get from normal play testers on controlled PC build environment and get some player feed back as we start to head into the home stretch of debug optimization/ play adjustments stretch of the work as they probably at this point have it 90% complete on other aspects
Usually the last 2 to 4 months of a games development period before release is spent in the optimization debug and final tweaks to the formula before going gold that is when they print the physical copies and place the base downloads as finished then they have a bit more time to work on optimizations and other final adjustments for a day one patch if needed
