I saw flying saucers first time live in 1978 and since this moment rockabilly is my music. Keep on comin! Sandy Ford, also Cavan Grogan and others - we still need you!!!
well just found this at the age of 63 & boy oh boy it brings back memories of the Bulldog in Bullsmoor lane WX & the Salisbury in Lincoln rd Bush hill park like it was yesterday when i was there when i was a teenager! what have i missed all these yrs? i'm still a rocker at heart & will always love the saucers, sang Blue suede shoes with them once, probably not as good as our Kevin nickname (Killer) who use to sing with them but it was an honour lads! where are you now? im in Enfield but i'd drop everything & come & see you at a moments notice! Even if i am in remission from lymphoma of the throat (cancer). of course i can still bop & show the youngsters how to do it lol. Peter (Red Giant Harley Badge fringed jkt)
Back in the 70s they were one of the best live bands along with The Jets . Pity I never got to see them as they were then. Can't tell the number of times I saw the Saucers in London back in the 90s & 2000s.
Sandy's a brilliant vocal . Best wishes to them ❤️🤗👍!

I was in a band called "The Flying Saucers" in 1973 in Denver, Co.. We were managed by Feyline and played at RedRocks and opened for Steven Stills. These guys do not own the name. It's OK but they were not the first band to have this name.
And in the 50's, Billy Lee Riley & his Flying Saucers. So you're not the first band too, cheers
In the 50s Pat Cupp & His Flying Saucers recorded amazing rockabilly tracks. Billy Lee Riley recorded Flying Saucer Rock & Roll backed by The Little Green Men.
