Back when people looked healthy, and actually lived life in the moment, risks and all. I used to go to stock car races in New Zealand, the new fearful generations couldn’t cope with life as we experienced it.
When I was in high school in the 50's the dress for guys was white T shirt, Levi's ( which were never washed, hosed down on a clothes line and stood in a corner), white socks and loafers.

what memories buried in this music so energetic. you can't stay static while listening to it, it makes you want to beat the rhythm too much. It was the time of a youth spent in the recklessness of the post-war period, swollen with too much enthusiasm, wanting to laugh, sing, flirt and get drunk on the sweets of life. thank you to all ephemeral artists who still contribute today beyond their disappearance to drag us into a whirlwind of frenzied music after having lived a stupid war, too long and so cruel for their twenty years

A great collection of classic rockabilly from the decade it started in!
Blues and Swing. So Cool in the '50's so naturally Rock and Roll took the Baton and Raced with it for the next 40 years. I LOVE IT! Heck, I danced to it!
When America was truly Great....a 1960s greaser, here....

Robert Gordon does a great job in reviving Rockabilly. Give him a listen! 👍👍👍
That '53 Studee. Mine was a Studillac, 356 cube Caddy w LaSalle transmission. Later on I swapped out the 3 speed for a Muncie Vette 4-speed.
Me sinto tão atraída por este tipo de música e vídeo 💜

Grandpa Murph worked for Symes Cadillac in the San Gabriel Valley for ages...raising 7 kids in Pasadena. Loved workin with him in his retirement...SoCal was once a great place! My Pop ran a Lerner station in Pasadena....WTF happened to California?!?!?!?! Glad i am in Arkansas now!!!
Dem was da days!
J'adore les musîques je suis rockabilly 🐺
Ha,when your grandparents tell you," we were good and always behaved ourselves"!
I was a child in the 50s. I remember this era, but I was too young to participate. I am now enjoying my review with the gusto of a teenager and the memories of a child.
You just came up.
I’m in my shop. Mesmerized by your footage. No work getting done.
Beer time anyway.
Thanks for the eye/ear Candy ❤️
Lots of Crackers. Like…all crackers.
Might want to add some colour brother.
All folks love rockabilly and hot rods.
It’s probably more challenging to dig up that footage. I 4 1 would love it. You do good work.
‘50’s era Wonderful rhyme for my heart
Quelle époque. La meilleure
what memories buried in this music so energetic. you can't stay static while listening to it, it makes you want to beat the rhythm too much. It was the time of a youth spent in the recklessness of the post-war period, swollen with too much enthusiasm, wanting to laugh, sing, flirt and get drunk on the sweets of life.
thank you to all ephemeral artists who still contribute today beyond their disappearance to drag us into a whirlwind of frenzied music after having lived a stupid war, too long and so cruel for their twenty years
C était génial cette époque.....je n aime que la musique Américaine 👍❤️ surtout le rock...ces belles voitures....la façon de se vêtir vive USA ❤
An innocent time that is gone forever.
Innocent? Open a history book.
It was the freedom that was in America back then that is evident in this video! Just having a grand ole' time!
What a great Saturday, one can get lost in this music. I've been dancing.
