+thenthapple :O You replied! Haha, anyways, I was curious about Outpost Zimonja.. It's avaliable to make a settlement, but its name and the location have got me wondering what's behind it :3
+thenthapple Also, upon exploring vault 75, in the main entrance, in the back of that van, there is a open safe with a human scull with a baby bottle in it.. Pretty massed up if you ask me
+thenthapple when you go down the stairs entering the vault, in the loading bay type area, outside the vault door. go up the road, and there should be the van by the bay door
The story of the vault kind of reminds me about a book called Unwind, where parents who didn't want their kids any longer could send them to camps, where every week in these camps, a group of kids would be unwound. Unwinding a process that involved taking apart the patient piece by piece, right down to portions of the brain, keeping them conscious through the process until their consciousness simply ceased to exist. The "unwound" organs would be given to donors in need around the world, everything from kidneys to arms that are just grafted onto the donor. The only requirement to this process would be that they are under 18.
+Tosco Destiny is more like "You want to know about the traveller eh? Truth is, I have no fucking clue about it" Fucking speaker man. Never explained ANYTHING.
Vault 92 was creepy, a guy suicided because he didn't wanted to become a phsycho and he left a note writed "If my family read this, let them know i didn't crazed"
excuse me but judging people by their profile pictures is really stupid, my friend sent me this profile picture as a joke. You may think 3 and 4 are bad but believe it or not some people actually like them. saying that I can't learn how to play an old game is also very stupid, I would love to play them if I wasn't so busy play other great titles. I only said I wanted 1 and 2 remakes because a lot of people like me haven't enjoyed these games like you have. Thank you for reading this and I hope you have a nice day :)
hate how they did vaults in this game. All we received was backstory for most. All I can remember are either triggermen or gunners within the majority of the vaults in-game. No vaults with creepy atmospheres or a sense of panic, although the inhabited one was a nice touch. I would've been happier with just one vault inhabited by hostiles while the other remained empty with a more ominous atmosphere, sick of the copy paste gunners and triggermen
+ICOИiC There are only 123 vaults across all of the US (as far as I remember), having such a high concentration of vaults in one location would be pretty damn illogical.
There are also Terminal logs of a father who told their kids NOT to enter the Malden vault and run home to their personal bunker instead. They did make it, but they all died at the end. Also their mom was trapped in a hospital, you can find audio logs from her too.
I wonder if James ended up leaving this vault relocating to the Capitol wasteland where he used the skill he learned in Vault 75 to start Project Purity
thenthapple And you are doing a perfect job at it, I love watching you uncover the secrets of the wastes and go into extreme detail about everything which I love. I take that you record the video then comment over it since you warn that some things scare the crap out of you. I think I speak for everyone when I say thank you for taking hours of your time to figure out every little detail about a place then record it all with little to no mess ups.
+JITCY9107 crazy scientists, kidnapped children, scientifically enhanced children and power armor being developed at the same time, I think your right haha
Because of the occupation of the vault, by the gunners, I assumed that it may have been an origin story for them. They left the vault, organized and followed through with their mandate to conquer the wasteland.
It seems like this experiment suffered from over-culling, this experiment could have been very successful a separation of populations would have made much more since, or the harvesting of all genome to for cataloging or specifying unknown helpful traits. Also this vault reminds me the the Michael Bay movie "The Island".
As morbid as this vault is, I do nearly the same thing whenever I'm trying to breed the perfect pokémon. First I find out there IVs and then I breed the ones with higher numbers while releasing those who have low potential. Speaking of, I'm still having to breed this certain pokémon until I get the right nature.
I literally just found this vault after going on a desk fan hunt, i went through it and loaded up on of the terminals and said "ah fuck it, thenthapple will upload a video on it soon anyway" *checks notifications* well shit
There's a vault southwest of "The Edge of The Glowing Sea" also occupied by gunners too much for me to handle lots of hard enemies like two assaultrons at the front of the vault and last time I attempted to clear it the were some legendary gunners in there and lots of other gunners and Mr. Gustys. Soooo you know good luck and have fun my fellow adventurers!
Over a million views?!?! Holy crap, nice job man! I remember watching you before 100k in last summer. Loving the content and it's so awesome to see you grow as much as you have! Keep working hard man
I've seen all the videos, they are great. I wish I could be half as observant as you on the minor details, I feel like you already know 110% what happened as you run through the wasteland as opposed to going back to investigate and watch for minor hints at things. Great videos, keep them up!
I think the kids from Vault 75 grew up to become the gunners.. the last batch of trained soldiers from the vault.. 1.the way they use weapons 2. they act like they are part of a Military ..
I think no matter what story of the vaults we go to this is a absolute constant...Vault-Tec are still assholes...except the Vault-Tec Representative....hes ok
This vault kind of reminds me of MacCready's back story. He came from that littlelamp place where its just kids up to the age of 15 and all adults are killed. Once you become 16 you have to leave because you are too old.
first video i have watched from your channel and i loved it, they way you casually say that one of the scientists were killed by a table, but sound so serious about it
Connor Bray I think 111 was the best out of every vault. Besides the system failing and everyone dying of course. But if I had to chose one vault to be the lone survivor in in real life it would be 111 most definitely
sometimes when I'm playing fallout 4 I'll be in a particular location and think about how I can't wait for you to do a video about it, this was definitely one of those places
You missed the most obvious outcome of this vault. The survivors were fully military trained. Who else in the Commonwealth has this training and seems to be passing it on. The very Gunners that you find in vault 75. From all the evidence there one can easily point to the Gunners as being the survivors of Vault 75. The mere fact that they seem to take other vaults as there own is another good clue. They know in the inner workings of the vaults as they have been raised in them and passed that down through the generations. It makes it easy for them to break into other vaults that have weekend security, like vault 95. But the fact that the Gunners seem to be local phenomenon and have no known origin I think strengthens this theory even more. Useless I missed something somewhere in the game that flat out points to were the gunners come from I think they are the offspring of Vault 75's last survivors and kept there deep programming for living in a militaristic fashion. They are now the biggest mercenary force in the Commonwealth. So in the end Vault-Tec did succeed in this experiment, but like most of there experiments it turned on them and did not go the way they intended.
+Don Edwards Actually this point was brought up to me before I made the video, but I felt that it was another video unto itself, and further research was needed
Just wanted to say good job. You make some really good videos of the Lore of the Fallout games. You even got that voice that goes along with it, like your doing some documentary on the Discovery channel. When your in the game shooting up some raiders or super mutants it kinds of takes away from the story of the area your at so its good to have these videos to watch to really fully experience the area without that super mutant distraction.
+Andr Pratt i think it'd be hard to notice everyone in the fallout universe are stronger than they should be example:Anyone can be shot in the head and be fine
Yea. Given how tough they are, Some of them could be modified humans from v75. But they do recruit new privates from commming foke of commonwealth. And even joined as former minutemen - >hence the massacre at quinsy.
His voice combined with the the way he speaks, makes it sound like he's telling you a story even when he's simply describing what's going on. His voice draws me in and makes me want to keep listening.
Midnagamein G They could have done better things, like add more gameplay, or building things, but the thing you are bitching about is an fucking corpse? -_-
the gunners are mean :( they shot me for no reason... so I killed them all with mini-nukes >:D and just to let you know those scanners are radiation scanners as far as I have found
Having just done the quests in Vault 81, it might be an interesting one to do a video on as it is one of only 4 Vaults I know of that actually had a living population
***** Not so interesting those vaults, I checked. As I said, the other vaults are tame. Look what we had in F3 and NV, compare those vaults to the vaults in F4.
+Fiaura The Tank Girl Because the world ended, if you read terminals and lore throughout fallout 4, they didnt expect it to actualy end, and if bombs fell, they expected to have some sort of control. But what happened was basicly everyone turned to looting and raiding .
MrEisawesome I've read everything and apparently Vault Tec did make it in with the Enclave but why do so many vaults not report an All Clear Signal? When did Vault Tec decide to not send the signal to some but not others?
+Fiaura The Tank Girl Because some were never meant to get the all clear signal or be given it at a much later date. They also probably changed some of their plans as the world changed and the enclave started to make their own plans.
Just finished exploring this location and the one easter egg I remember finding was in the residential areas in the first large open room. Spelled out in blocks in multiple rooms, you have the name GARY. When I found it i was amazed that they put that in there and now I am hoping to find even more of them in more of the vaults.
Thanks for the tour and the info. My wife and I have been house hunting and sometimes watch online property tours on video made by real estate agents. My wife walked past while I was watching this clip and heard you say "..handcuffed to a railing and left to die". She whacked me on the arm and said "well, we're not buying that f*ckin' house!" lol...
I see some people hate changes in fallout 4. Well change is necessary and some people may have to get used to it. The color scheme in vaults are decent since they add to the new color scheme for fallout 4 as a whole. If your looking for creepy and scary theme then go wait outside in the commonwealth until there is a radiation storm or a very heavy fog.
I'm going to try to create a mod where the entire map in the game is replaced into its pre war state. I'm going to try to replace the textures and if there's no clean version of the wall or something I will do my best to create a new texture similar to the old but it's cleaner and not torn or broken.
I see a lot of people complaining that the vaults are too colorful and don't look worn enough. Though this is a valid criticism, this is how THE ENTIRE GAME is. The Fallout 4 environment looks more like 80 tops years have passed rather than 2 centuries. Waaay too much paint on stuff, not enough rust, not enough collapsed buildings. Heck, today you can probably find 10 year old wrecks in a junk yard that look far worse than the cars in FO4. But this is apparently what alot of people wanted, more color, so Bethsada gave it to us and people are complaining that it's too colorful. Color and post apocalyptic wastelands DO NOT mix people, you gotta have one or the other.
The younger children have higher heart rate demands because predicted maximum heart rate is 220 - your age (someone has probably already meantioned this), awesome video man!
My personal theory is Vaults 87 and 75 was a joint experiment. I have a theory that the super soldiers from Vault 75 were meant to be pitted against any successes of the FEV to see which procedure produced stronger results.
School. School never changes.
War. War never changes.
Lol they still lie amd try 2 teach us the wrong things?

lol
+Orcaman15 It basically was.
+Orcaman15 power armor, kidnapped children, crazy scientists, surgically enhanced children. damn your on to something haha

I wish Bethesda would make a horror game because they are really good at creepy.

the gunners are mean :( they shot me for no reason...
so I killed them all with mini-nukes >:D
and just to let you know those scanners are radiation scanners as far as I have found
Ben Cook
I know but I still don't like them
great video man! ran though this vault last night.
Having just done the quests in Vault 81, it might be an interesting one to do a video on as it is one of only 4 Vaults I know of that actually had a living population
I think there was a Dr. Mengele working on this.
Not a lot of vault videos I think. This one and 111 are cool, but the rest are tame compared to the vaults from fallout 3 and NV.
They would be just as scary , but the color scheme makes it harder.
***** Not so interesting those vaults, I checked. As I said, the other vaults are tame. Look what we had in F3 and NV, compare those vaults to the vaults in F4.
+Fatty8Claws How many vaults are there in FO4?
Good question, but bethesda never put in more than 5. Who knows, maybe there's more in F4, but I wouldn't count on it.
I've discovered 5 now, still got to cover some parts of the map. Haven't been into 95 though, the robo-dudes kept murdering me.
Does anyone know why there was never an all clear signal sent to any of the vaults?
+Fiaura The Tank Girl Because the world ended, if you read terminals and lore throughout fallout 4, they didnt expect it to actualy end, and if bombs fell, they expected to have some sort of control. But what happened was basicly everyone turned to looting and raiding .
MrEisawesome
I've read everything and apparently Vault Tec did make it in with the Enclave but why do so many vaults not report an All Clear Signal? When did Vault Tec decide to not send the signal to some but not others?
+Fiaura The Tank Girl Because some were never meant to get the all clear signal or be given it at a much later date. They also probably changed some of their plans as the world changed and the enclave started to make their own plans.
+Fiaura The Tank Girl Vault 13 got one when the Enclave needed to use their population for their own gains
+MrEisawesome and didn't vault tec "accidentally" start the war?
Just finished exploring this location and the one easter egg I remember finding was in the residential areas in the first large open room. Spelled out in blocks in multiple rooms, you have the name GARY. When I found it i was amazed that they put that in there and now I am hoping to find even more of them in more of the vaults.
+Forrest Zirpolo (Dogfire45) awesome :)
+SAN JST (SANJST) haha shit sorry you got hit on my account XD
You sound sick, thenthapple~ You should rest up till you feel better~ :)

Fallout 4: too clean
Perfect for my pre war mod that might be created
I'm going to try to create a mod where the entire map in the game is replaced into its pre war state. I'm going to try to replace the textures and if there's no clean version of the wall or something I will do my best to create a new texture similar to the old but it's cleaner and not torn or broken.
Nice cant wait
+Oink ards yeah it might take a year or two
10/10 ending
XD
great job with the video. it would be awesome to see a bunch more!
Excellent video. Keep up the great work. I will definitely be back to see more content.
thanks :)
The legend 27
what if the current chiren escaped to washington and formed camp little light
The name is freddy 227 thats not a comment
+thunder2.0 nice theory but the lamp light kids came from a bunch of kids that were on a school trip before the bombs felt
Umm. All of the "kids" in the vault were like 15 to 20
+Kamastamasta under 17, 17 and above were culled
Fallout 4 took place a decade after 3.
wait there's a girl in diamond city called nina
a little girl
Glad Games She's the girl in the yellow dress, right?
Doing a re run of all your vids, Nth! Playing through Fallout 4 again and loving every minute!
I'm thoroughly enjoying this look into the Fallout universe. I love the documentary style of the videos. Definitely subscribing now.
+4B Studios welcome :)
Where's vault number 1?
None in the commonwealth
What?
Pretty sure it's yet to be discovered in the Fallout lore. There is a Vault 0 however, just not in this game.
Probably Alaska or california
xXxluigi1122xXx maybe Washington for the government?
Wait is this a private video? Why?
+Seven Billion It is posted on my patreon a few hours before here. How did you find it?
+thenthapple Alright back in action :)
+thenthapple a pattern member xd support Ze smiling apple
+thenthapple a pattern member xd support Ze smiling apple
thenthapple It showed up on the fallout 4 Lore playlist on your channel.
Who else is rewatching the kings lore waiting for his return
"possibly laughing at the fat ones"- best commentary line I've ever heard
The younger children have higher heart rate demands because predicted maximum heart rate is 220 - your age (someone has probably already meantioned this), awesome video man!
I love these kinds of videos, please make more Vault Videos and maybe some talk about companions or other locations!
I like the way he always tells you everything that might have happened and tells you the full story which most people don't do
+Duck_VLR I probably read too much into things, but I like it :)
My personal theory is Vaults 87 and 75 was a joint experiment. I have a theory that the super soldiers from Vault 75 were meant to be pitted against any successes of the FEV to see which procedure produced stronger results.
That was cool, thank you for making that video
you are welcome
