Those are hilarious!!! What a fun set of paintings to own! Dwight just makes me crack up! I’m glad you mentioned DD drills. I recently completed a kit and had heard about the drills being the shiniest on planet earth and when I did the kit I was like, wait what? These are run of the mill acrylic drills. Glad I wasn’t losing my mind. I have about 4 other kits in my stash and coincidentally just bought one today at a small craft shop. Hopefully it’s old and hopefully the others in my stash are old as well. But thank you for validating that I’m not crazy! ❤
Yes there is definitely a huge difference in the drills now it’s definitely wild!! I am hoping maybe some of their older kits for sale still have their original drills I am going to miss them so much!!
🐞I am currently working on a DD painting a Thomas Kincaid called " A Walk Along Autumn Lane" and the round drills are super sparkly and the colors are outstanding. I didn't get this from Wal-Mart or Amazon.. I can't remember where..I just put in Diamond Dotz painting kits and examples came up and directed me to sights, as I was looking for licenced work that wasn't so expensive.
Yes I worked on that one last year and loved it!! I got it from Joann’s I think!
