    I love this project. I wish they'd stop saying things like "European standards" and "American standards" in these videos. High standards do not have to be synonymous with European/American standards so just say "High standards". We need to decolonize our minds. Otherwise this project is absolutely amazing!

      You wish? You wish? Do you actually think that the project was created for Kenyans for Kenyans? The language tells you you aren't the target market...let them appeal to their target market in the language that their market understands. It's GTC, not a random apartment...it's Global Trade Center, targeting international conglomerates & the foreign employees they'll be sending here...maneno na colonization is irrelevant here

      @@AfrikanTribesman first of all, I live in the US and the only reason I found this project is because I'm looking for a property to buy. One thing I've realized whenever I visit Kenya is that a lot of Kenyan see mzungus as gods and I attribute that to colonization. This type of language is embarrassing and cringeworthy ESPECIALLY to those of us that live in the diaspora that no longer worship white people. The only people this type of language appeals to are those who've never left Kenya who still think giving places English names is civilization, na wenye mnaonanga mzungu ameingia mnaamkia viti mzungu aketi.

    A coin have 3 sides . While am struggling to know where i get job or money to relocate to kamakis place where rent is 8k for a bedsitter , someone is buying unfurnished 1 bedroom at 30M . #Getting a degree was a scam. Somebody only needed to teach me what works in the wall street.

    Expensive for the tiny spaces, a majority of ordinary Kenyans are outpriced from this development. Kenya needs to come up better long term payment plans for example 20% at the time of signing then 80% of the balance paid monthly over 288-360 months.

If this were an open space with trees and real natural green grass cover rather than that eyesore concrete boxy china architecture you call a building and its little tiny kitchens meant for ants and not full grown human beings, wouldn't Nairobi benefit more from open green spaces which are badly needed in Nairobi and all over Kenya?

    These are pure thugs asking people to pay within 3yrs. Even developed economies have NO such hurried payment terms. I wish they suffer slow sale so they dont set precedence.

      This makes a lot of sense. These are long term projects why the rush to recoup as if it was a short term investment. With eye popping prizes in a very short interval, the uptake will be very slow.

      @@alexchui3511 If they did such obnoxious cash sale with no mortgage facility in their countries, they'd make headlines. Yet they call us poor. Someone should raise this awareness with Kenyans as a 'collective public good' otherwise the success of this mess will be replicated and entreched.

      @@thisandthat1523 let me assume they've done their market survey and they have a specific clientele in their mind. But they are overpricing Nairobi property business. We'll start being compared with London and New York without being either London or New York in any shape or form.

      @pm Still that is a very niche clientele. Private investors are chasing money from a few millionaires living millions others without much choice. It's even good that the government has entered into the housing market since the private sector has shown little faith to millions of potential home owners.

    The developers are about to get a very painful lesson in kenyan realestate. It's a money laundering enterprise and has no real connection to people on the ground. Why spend 250k in Kenya when you can spend that amount in Portugal or istanbul or Spain etc. If your laundering money this is an excellent investment 👌

      You have no idea where emerging markets are shifting to clearly. Go to Spain ,Portugal and invest there we see.🤷‍♀ Kenya is a gateway to Africa, big on tourism, and business, the IT sector is booming and has so much potential, many people are coming to open up businesses there, let alone the many International hubs scrambling to set up their hub there due to the skilled workforce and cheap labor. Kenya hosts many expats ,among the highest in Africa, this is no brainer that the facilities will come in handy. The many International conferences can shift from KICC to GTC. We are in 2023, Africa is getting a share of the cake,i know its surprising to see. Sit back and watch for more in future✌✌

      @@Tata-bd9nx Clearly you haven't been to JKIA airport of late to see the hundreds of young unemployed Kenyans desperate to escape poverty and unemployment flying of to the Gulf ..... the boom in kenya is export of cheap labour to the gulf and beyond .Yes your right Kenya and Africa has potential but its hampered by lack of infrastructure , cheap readable power , corruption , insecurity and exorbitant taxes , not overpriced apartment blocks . High end overpriced Kenyan real Estate is fueled by money launders and criminals its not a gauge of prosperity , remember genuine investor always looks for a bargain to maximize his investment , criminals look for somewhere to hide and clean their money

      exactly my point. It doesn't take a guru to figure out what's going on. 26k mortgages in a country of over 50m. You speak to realtors and they tell you most buyers are cash buyers. How? who? Both Kigali, Abuja and dar-esalam have better airports.

      @@Tata-bd9nx Most of your so called expats work in charities, UN and related so not high value. 26k mortgages in a country of 50m+, most properties are cash buyers. Your % of people earning over 1k a month is less than 1%. 75% make less than 500 usd a month, only 500k have a net worth of 20k usd or more to a max of 60k usd. 56% of GVT employees make less than 300usd. Im not guessing. The IMF bail out and the coming recession in the next few months thats the emerging markets macro outlook. Ill give you a hint. Your president in the next few months will start trimming your government. Your shilling will get worse and your diaspora will keep your economy afloat.

      ​@@Tata-bd9nx I do agree with you. I do live in Europe and there is here tons of house I can't afford as well. According to me, GTC offers is not for everyone. Mercedes, Range Rover are not selling cars for everyone but I saw Kenyans with great cars and great luxurious houses during my trip in Kanairo. This is life.

    2023 life is getting too expensive money is not big issue but the problem for this kind of property is management. I assure you the swimming pool after year it will dry and unhealthy so swim

      This is Kenya not Somalia. I assure, there are such properties like these in Nairobi and no swimming pool is drying up and getting unhealthy to swim as you say, whatever that even means. 🤦‍♀🤦‍♀Upkeep & management is key

    The interior design has failed to introduce elements of african culture to enhance luxury themes at a wow level . Those paint art works are boring.
