I met my husband at a DMB concert and then got engaged to him at another DMB concert 5 years later. “You and Me” is our wedding song/ first dance. Ten years strong. DMB is the first concert we took our kids to at the Hollywood Bowl. Fun!

I just caught DMB and Carter this week on their Summer 2021 Tour and Carter looked like he was having the time of his life. He nailed the extended drum solos and he was singing every word on the songs. He is fantastic.

I just found this song. I was sleeping on the couch, and my 4 month son was sleeping in his bassinet. We were leaving to GA the next day to move in with my sister, with promises that “she was going to help us.” This song came on...Times were so hard then, and I struggled...But this song is what I remember.

Woke up and Dave Mathews Band was on my brain. I stole my dad's Dave CDs as a teenager after hearing 'Grave Digger' didn't really care for them before that. Was almost anti DMB. I was about 16 or 17. I'm now 33. After buying Some Devil and my dad's CDs, I was mad at myself. I'm a metal head and love real rap, but DMB is fully in my heart. Bought tickets for the Dec. 5th show in Albany NY a couple hours ago. I'm blessed. Wish I could take my dad though. It's ok. I'm bringing my new gf. Gonna be our first time seeing them. I'm excited.

I finally discovered what makes this band so great. They incorporate a mix of rock, blues and some smooth jazz and it all blends together so seamlessly and yet is so addicting to listen to while reliving those days when life was much better compared to now. Sigh....😞

I was in love w my first love in Baltimore. In Dec 2002….we were having a drink and this came on at the bar. God it was epic. A boy from KY falling for a gal from FL and we were in MD. She left me in 06 but the memories especially the one this song reminds me of…no one can take away.

Twelve years ago I was at a pub playing music videos and hosting karaoke when she came in. I'd managed to avoid her for four years by then as she was married. We both had aliases on social media and through mutual friends had become acquainted. I caught her eye and she smiled then turned away slyly. Instead of letting the playlist go on, I put this video on and looked away, hoping, waiting until she walked in front of me so I had to look and she smiled, took my hand and danced me around in a circle, kissing me on the cheek then left. A few hours later she returned and when I saw her I put on Wicked Game by Chris Isaak. The rest was history.

Damn, when I was in college in the early 2000s, Dave Matthews Band was everywhere. It was almost trendy to be a DMB fan, but I never really got into their music. "Crush" was really the only song of theirs that I liked. It was probably bc I was forced to listen to their songs all the time at parties or in a friend's car that I didn't really get into that much. That being said, I am amazed that this song has less than 10 million views and it's been on UA-cam for over 10 years. It's an amazing song.
