I have developed a relationship with a liquor store and it’s been great. They see me walk in and if they have a new bourbon offering, they will give me a sample. They will let me know if they get a hard to find bottle. I have taken them samples too, like a Stagg I acquired on a trip I took. It truly pays off.
Definitely agree with that . try and have a relationship with the store . I always buy something when I hunt. We have a few good stores where im from. Thanks for sharing

Great pickups. Love the Makers stave series and Ben Holladay Rickhouse proof SRW. I've heard good things about Hard Truth and they are out of Indiana. I think most of the recommendation came on higher proof bottles. Enjoy!

Hard Truth Sweet Mash Wheated is incredible! I would highly recommend that bottle, the Sweet Mash Rye is excellent as well. I went hard at the Rye a few days ago. I have never seen the High Road Rye before.
Sweet Mash Wheated is the A107 killer. It's 100 proof but drinks like its 107. Trust me! I bought multiple bottles because once it catches on the Taters will go crazy and the price will skyrocket.
The plastic cup tastings are always awful to me, has to be in a Glen to get a true understanding of the bottle.
Holladay SRW RHP is excellent, I keep several bottles on the shelf.

I went to the Nashville farmers market an there is a permanent stand where you can taste bourbon by Far Better. The 7 yr is 139 proof but it does not drink like it. It is very good. But it is a bit pricey

@@AA-nh6rh it would have to be the Woodford DO. Especially a store pick. I would not pay more than 50 bucks for the Heaven Hills. You can’t go wrong with either.

The first 2 bottles were okay. The BIB and the Rye were the best. I had to edit the video and take that part out. Michael Jackson came on and it was loud. 😂
