I just took my KKM Glock 29 barrel out yesterday for a test drive. I shot 100 rnds of S&B FMJ, 100 rnds of Remington UMC and 50 rnds of DoubleTap 200gr HP’s through it. Not one hickup. I love KKM barrels as I own several of them for a few different Glocks. My Glock 20’s are used for hunting big game. But my G29 is my Sierras concealed carry fishing gun. For when I’m fishing in bear country, and I don’t want to freak out other hikers and such with an exposed gun on my hip or in a chest holster during trout season.
I do the same things youv'e done in this video. Doing your own thing with guns, holsters and any gun parts or components is just a good clean hobby and is something I enjoy . I think your into that also. Enjoyed watching, good video.
I grew up in Boston and was lucky to get a ccw. I now live in Florida. Here you can apply at the DMV. No registering of firearms. Most southern states have reciprocity too.

I load a .40 S&W and use Remington Golden Saber Bonded with Longshot and either 165 GR and 180GR I still get above 1600 FPS loading it by the book...... I added the 20 LB spring to my Glock 27 with Sandpaper Talon grips and Trijicon HD sights..... I added a Glock 23 mag 15+1 with the Xgrip made by the Glockstore ...... Glocks are great to customize and they become real bad asses with custom items.

In addition to the 10mm & .40 cal, the G-20/29/40 will also fire the .357 SIG with the simple swapping out of the barrel.
It is a KKM barrel. Their website states it is available in 4.5", but their engineer told me it is availabe in different lengths if requested, example 4.25" as in the video.
I'd like to go with a 4.25 if it's still available. My thought is that it would still work with my iwb kydex holster and I wouldn't notice the difference while carrying
I never knew about that awesome form fit with heat Hogue grip. Yeah at least they are not to much money so buying another one and being more careful with where you cut(an Exacto knife should go through the heated pliable grip perfectly)so I am sure OP has done that already sweet.
God I hate those hogue slip on grips! The Glocks are already big enough in the grips and you're just making it larger. But to each his own I guess. Glad you like the 29 I have a gen 4 and it's my new woods carry gun. I also carry a 3" barrel s&w 686 plus 7 shot .357 magnum

The .357SIG is a 9mm on steroids in a necked down .40 cal cartridge. If you own or are in the market for a 10mm, you can train with the .40 and save the 10mm rounds for the real world. Save the .357SIG for back-up, when you're out of 10 or 40. Just make sure you've got the right barrel in the G20/29/40.
I went with the Alpha Wolf barrel, McNally trigger assembly, Ameriglo night sights, and Pearce mag and grip extension. The guide rod assembly I will NOT replace on any Glock. Awesome G29 now!

I live in Massachusetts and I have LTCs from Ma, NH, CT, FL& RI. and only RI requests u qualify with a weapon and cannot carry a higher cal than what u qualified with. keep up the good fight brother. on to NJ and NY. wish me luck.
I didn’t know RI issued a Non resident CCW. I know Massachusetts offers a Non Resident a LTC but restrictions are placed. A resident of Massachusetts can get a carry license but can not carry in The City of Boston. New York offers a part time resident a pistol license. Depends on the county most are target restrictions
Nice video. I like those upgrades. I also carry my Glock 29sf as one of my concealed carry pieces. I am over in Placer county. CA gun laws are lousy but at least we both live in counties that issue.

My man…simply put if you want to shoot hot rounds uch as underwood hardcast out of a 10mm then you should change the heavier recoil spring. If you dont you will beat the hell out of your glock with its lightweight recoil spring. You are clearly a young kid that might be scared to modify his glock and you compensate by trying to say you dont need to change it. If you are just carrying your 9mm for self defense then sure leave it stock. But changing barrell and recoil spring are for specific reason if you plan for bear country carry. Just relax and learn. Your G29 (with mods) is almost identical to mine. Very tasteful IMO.. lol Are those TFO sights on your 20? I've got the TFXs on my 29 and LOVE them!! Excellent in daylight or darkness.
Any specific reason why you use the KKM barrels besides that you just like them? I'm leaning toward getting a loan wolf(perhaps b/c it costs less) aftermarket barrel for my G29.
A lot of people use them because they reload and the rifling in the stock Glock barrels aren’t not met to “soft” lead that sometimes. used in reloading. The lead “fouls” the barrel and could potentially cause it to jam or have other problems
OKay from the top,IF fingernail polish is our first thought when making the gun ' yours ' so be it.Me i bought the Lone Wolf 10mm comp barrel cut it back just a little and ended up with 4.4 i believe.Next me and a dremel got rid of the finger grooves completely,back strap got a little materiel removed,gun fits ' MY ' hand much better.Got rid of that god awful square trigger guard the same way Dremel to the rescue. Made a deep finger relief along the frame gun rides high enough now no pinky extension needed any longer..A soldering iron and a custom ground tip and a lot of time stippled the gun everywhere it needed it i.e. grip-back strap.Hi vis night sights,took a touch off either side of front sight for a tad more daylight on either side.Install 3.5lb trigger.Made my own ' groin carry' kydex holster..Carry Underwood 135grn flame throwers in this little monster..Gun WORKS every-time,VERY very accurate for its size and i carry 2 mags with it..

Hello I am in the market for a good all around handgun and I think I am getting close but I have a few questions. First off with the Glock 29sf can this be converted to 357,45, and 9mm. (This is important to me because I am a prepper and in oh shit moments I know that 45 and 9mm are easier to find) also does this fit in a form of carbine? (This is important to me because if I want to have the most amount of uses possible. Short range and longer range.) And if this can fit in a carbine can I put say a 9mm barel in and use it that way. I am somewhat of a novice in the gun world although everyone around me ones guns including glocks I haven't been all over them myself. This being said I have shot many guns including 357,45,40,9mm,308,other rifles,shottys and more. My main thing here is I'd rather have one gun I can use all around with a little customization as opposed to 15 diffent guns. Thank you for your time I appreciate any advice and I apologise for my ignorance
NO NO NO IT WILL NOT!!! They have different barrell lugs! I cant believe some lf you are saying yes…it will not!!! You must get specific g29 barrells! If you say yes then you obviously have not actually shot your it. Intuition says you can but they are sizes differently!
Why didn’t you just use the large or medium backstrap since gen 4 and higher have modular grips? I’ve got large hands and was looking into the aftermarket grips until I put the large backstrap on and never looked back.
I tried putting a hogue on my shield 45. It was worst than childbirth thru my dickhole. Took 2 days. It was harder than shit to put on. Heated it, boiled it. I had no thumbs left. Now I get the talon rubberized grips.. Way better
NO offense but you seem a little too obsessed with "how it looks" etc. I can not see any reason why you would need a hogue sleeve on a Glock 20,29 or HK 45. The grips are huge stock even before the sleeve and your hands are small.
I also thought it was kind of funny that this guy said “for me it’s all about function, not how it looks... now let me get my nail polish and color in the letters”.

the reason for the longer barrel in Canada is because all handguns can not have a barrel less than 106mm or 4.2in.

A Hogue grip and a longer barrel defeats the purpose of purchasing a compact G29SF. Do as you please it's your firearm, but just a thought.

Just use bike tire tube for the grip and b carful molding by your trigger .you don't want any poopsies with the trigger when it is haulstered

Shorter reach from back of grip to trigger. Better fit for most people. Doesn't feel as much like a brick in your hand.

Any specific reason why you use the KKM barrels besides that you just like them? I'm leaning toward getting a loan wolf(perhaps b/c it costs less) aftermarket barrel for my G29.
A lot of people use them because they reload and the rifling in the stock Glock barrels aren’t not met to “soft” lead that sometimes. used in reloading. The lead “fouls” the barrel and could potentially cause it to jam or have other problems

OKay from the top,IF fingernail polish is our first thought when making the gun ' yours ' so be it.Me i bought the Lone Wolf 10mm comp barrel cut it back just a little and ended up with 4.4 i believe.Next me and a dremel got rid of the finger grooves completely,back strap got a little materiel removed,gun fits ' MY ' hand much better.Got rid of that god awful square trigger guard the same way Dremel to the rescue. Made a deep finger relief along the frame gun rides high enough now no pinky extension needed any longer..A soldering iron and a custom ground tip and a lot of time stippled the gun everywhere it needed it i.e. grip-back strap.Hi vis night sights,took a touch off either side of front sight for a tad more daylight on either side.Install 3.5lb trigger.Made my own ' groin carry' kydex holster..Carry Underwood 135grn flame throwers in this little monster..Gun WORKS every-time,VERY very accurate for its size and i carry 2 mags with it..
What's the length on your KKM Barrel? Could you quite possibly throw up the link to that specific barrel? I can't seem to find any for the 29 that are extended. Thanks

Hello I am in the market for a good all around handgun and I think I am getting close but I have a few questions. First off with the Glock 29sf can this be converted to 357,45, and 9mm. (This is important to me because I am a prepper and in oh shit moments I know that 45 and 9mm are easier to find) also does this fit in a form of carbine? (This is important to me because if I want to have the most amount of uses possible. Short range and longer range.) And if this can fit in a carbine can I put say a 9mm barel in and use it that way. I am somewhat of a novice in the gun world although everyone around me ones guns including glocks I haven't been all over them myself. This being said I have shot many guns including 357,45,40,9mm,308,other rifles,shottys and more. My main thing here is I'd rather have one gun I can use all around with a little customization as opposed to 15 diffent guns. Thank you for your time I appreciate any advice and I apologise for my ignorance

Why didn’t you just use the large or medium backstrap since gen 4 and higher have modular grips? I’ve got large hands and was looking into the aftermarket grips until I put the large backstrap on and never looked back.

I tried putting a hogue on my shield 45. It was worst than childbirth thru my dickhole. Took 2 days. It was harder than shit to put on. Heated it, boiled it. I had no thumbs left. Now I get the talon rubberized grips.. Way better

NO offense but you seem a little too obsessed with "how it looks" etc. I can not see any reason why you would need a hogue sleeve on a Glock 20,29 or HK 45. The grips are huge stock even before the sleeve and your hands are small.
I also thought it was kind of funny that this guy said “for me it’s all about function, not how it looks... now let me get my nail polish and color in the letters”.
