  • Highly request natural hair tutorial! This big bouncy curls natural hair tutorial is super easy! But, you must be careful when using heat styling tools. I personally have nothing against heat, but you must use it in moderation and know the temperature settings. Also, use plenty of heat protectants. I would be cautious if your hair is already chemically processed from color or relaxers.

    Black women are so blessed 3 weeks, your hair style last 3 weeks. Lord all of you are soooooo blessed. I am white & I have to wash it & style it daily. The longest I have been able to go is 2 days. Have a Blessed Day! Cause You Already Have Blessed Hair!
    Sincerely, Sonya Harris

      Sonya Harris it all depends on the style. I can keep my hair for a few weeks but again it all depends on the style. I'll try curly like this to see how long it last. Straighten it last about 2 weeks. It might last longer but my scalp itches and I have to wash it.

    This video saved my life. I have crazy kinky curly hair and stopped relaxing for over a year now. I usually just brush it back in a bun and that's it. Now I have a special occasion to go to. I was going crazy with my hair...then I found this video!!!! This is what I'm going to do! Thanks.

    I use heat everyday. My hair is thick and very "immune" to heat damage lol. Some naturals really shouldn't fear heat as much as they do!

    You videos are so inspiring. They've taught me to not only embrace my natural-ness in hair but in myself.
    I stopped using heat once I cut all my hair off. During the process of growing my hair back, I have stuck to oils, moisturizers, and air drying. My hair is healthy for the first time and I'm loving it.

    I flat-ironed my hair (300F) for the first time since I have been natural, 1 yr 2 months and it loosened my curl pattern in areas. So I will not be flatiorning or using heat outside of blow drying to help the drying process, deep cond or for W&G. Nothing else outside of a hooded dryer or with a diffuser. Heat protectants may help with actual breakage but they do not help against loosening of the curl pattern which means damage did occur to the hair shaft, whenever natural bonds are broken that is damage.
    Gorgeous curls all 3 of you ladies have lovely hair!

    @andreatate6702 10 років тому

    I love it! I use heat sparingly and I have never had heat damage either. You're right about the color making your hair more likely to break. It's a chemical so its hard to use heat and color in your hair without damage.

    Great video! I use heat after every wash (10-14 day) in the form of a blowdryer! Single strand knots are rare in my hair now and styling is much easier. I love braidouts so I get a huge fluffy braid out on my blowdried hair. I rarely use any other heat tools unless I flatiron which is only in the cooler months maybe 2 or 3 times a year.

    ***** me too girl! I was fighting getting a curling wand before but India has convinced me fully to do this style for Christmas. To answer your question though India I don't use heat very often but I'm not against it. I just prefer my curly kinky hair better so I don't straighten my hair unless I feel the sudden urge and I generally don't blow dry on a regular basis either. Your hair is gorgeous though and you've inspired my holiday hair my dear. Keep the videos coming love!!

    Loved the results! I've only used heat on my hair once, & that was a blowout 6 months ago. I hated the way the blow dryer made my hair feel & look though, so I'm planning to do a roller set & then straighten with a flat iron. I feel like I have to be super careful with heat because I colored my hair almost a year ago & my strands are fine, so it seems to make my hair more susceptible to damage.
