    I agree with you . Here in Pakistan its a loot sale going on.No jobs nothing. I would say this profession is a hit and trail thing. If you got good luck you are fine otherwise you will waste millions .

    not one school in the us says youll get an airline job after school. every airline says 1500 hours because you need an atp to start flying for an airline. most will tell you that, if you didnt know that you didnt do ANY research first. almost all 141 caree programs give you cfi mei and cfii so you can build hours. idk about Canada though

      Yes the USA has a 1500 rule after the Colgan crash to get hired by a regional or airline. In Canada, no such min. rule is there. This content is geared for Canadian pilots as there is not much info out there.
