Do you guys not watch and listen? The second race the Jeep driver was launching based on the McLaren's launch. Third race was supposed to be the McLaren launching when he sees the Jeep move off but he couldn't engage launch control. Regardless if the Jeep had gotten that chance to launch first the McLaren would've beat him with launch control on.

Not bad when you figure it probably weighs near 1000 pounds more and is about as aerodynamic as a cube. Got to love that Roar off the line. The Jeep is working so hard against the winds after about 75 miles per hour.

The best part about this video is that unlike other drag race videos this isn't 17 min long video for a 400 m race. 4 mins is more than enough to show 3 drag races Imo.

I have the same engine in a 10" lifted Jeep Commander on 35's with 5:13 gears. It weighs 6,500 lbs and still pulls on everything I meet. And yep they do sound great. Mine has deleted cats and resonators at the rear.

I'm here after seeing what I assume to be a Trackhawk accelerate from about 30 to 50+ mph in a next to no time as a light turned red. It was a sight to behold. Never seen acceleration like it from any car.

As a Trackhawk owner of 4 years what isn't surprising to most people is the 0-60 performance, what surprises people is what it can do at high speed on the highway. I've pulled many capable cars to 160+ this vehicle does not quit.

Important thing seems like this could be applied to the hybrid system right? . You just gotta loop the electric torque assist motor of the typical Prius hybrid back to the kickstart-up and itintial takeoff, instead of having it kick in mid-cruise. In fact I'm gonna try that - EV mode for startup, THEN regular hybrid mode. Thanks!

not a fail, just limiting launch control for a cool down. Most supercars do this except for Porsche's indestructible PDK launch control.

Honestly for the weight difference between these two cars the Jeep did amazing
The McLaren is literally designed to be light and to race weighing around 2700lbs
On the other hand the jeep is designed for more practical use/daily driving and weighs about 5,300 and still kept up with the McLaren pretty well
