Thank you!! I still struggle with finding a way to wrap all of my length without putting bends and creases in it. I’ve been doing the “around the world” wrap where I brush my hair in a circle around my head, but it’s hard and it falls down as I’m trying to wrap it lol

I’m mixed. My hair is hip length. It’s 3b. I big chopped three years ago. I was bald. I shaved my head. I’m 5’8 and all torso lol Now that I have hair I can’t do it lol. You get your hair so nice! It’s so beautiful!💞

I never utilize heat over 380. I just keep my sections thin. No more than two passes which includes the curl if I’m curling the ends. I need that flat iron brush thingy.

You may have mentioned it, but what protein treatment did you use?
When I straighten my hair, I cleanse, protein treat (aphogee), deep condition, heat protect, blow dry (sometimes sit under hair dryer first) and flat iron. Maybe a light serum or shine spray.
I may try the Mielle spray you used.
Sounds like we have the same exact routine when it comes to straightening😊. I always use the ApHogee 2-step Protein Treatment. It’s amazing and does wonders for my hair
@@EverSoGorgeous1 I also straighten my hair before I trim/cut it so I can see exactly how my ends look and where the uneven areas/straggly ends are.
Looking at cutting up to about shoulder-length by year's end. I cut it up to brastrap length earlier, but I want to wear it out more and a bit shorter works better for me. I'll grow it back starting in January and see where it ends in December.
You are hair goals for real 😍 how do you get your hair to be do sleek? Whenever I straighten my hair it doesn’t get as straight and even sometimes gets back frizzy before I am done with my whole head.

Yep humidity is so crazy down here it’s not worth it only straighten when I travel out
I live in Miami FL. I'll leave the house with my hair straight and by 10 minutes being outside my hair would already be curly again. I bought a nume megastar and my hair legit stays straight until I wash it and not only that it saves me so much time straightening my hair.
Yup! I live in The Bahamas, and its the same problem. I usually just straighten my hair when its cooler between December and March.
I’ve never had straight hair in Florida but I’ve used the Garnier sleek and shine serum in a green bottle. It’s like $4. It seemed to work with my straight hair in the summer heat and humidity in NYC! Maybe you could try it. I put it on before I straighten my hair and a tiny bit after or throughout the week to keep it frizz free

You’re back! How did you like the Mielle heat protectant compared to the last one you used?
I love it!! It didn’t weigh my hair down AT ALL and it felt like it definitely served it purpose in protecting my hair. I’m not sure if I would purchase it again though... it’s a bit pricey for the amount of product that you get in the bottle
EverSoGorgeous gotcha - is there a product that you use normally for heat? And what shampoo, conditioner and leave in did you use for your straight hair?
I like the KeraCare Thermal Wonder heat protectant but I think you can only buy it on Amazon now. I also like the Tresemme heat protectant spray with the red nozzle. I’ve been using both of those for years. I shampooed with the DevaCurl Low Poo shampoo and I deep conditioned with the DevaCurl Heaven In Hair and also the DevaCurl Melt Into Moisture deep conditioners. I didn’t use any leave-in conditioners in my hair. I usually don’t use any products in my straight hair besides heat protectant❤️

I thought about doing a length check in this video... but I’m going to wait until after my DevaCut. That way, my length check will be on fully healthy hair and I can track my growth from that point❤️

What curl type for your hair?you can adding curls after you straightening your hair giving body and volume!
I have mostly type 3b and a little bit of 3c hair. Medium porosity
EverSoGorgeous your hair is more tight and curly,if your curl pattern is more looser maybe 2c-3a you only need round brush and high heat to smooth out!
