Yes they do. I even love to touch my own hair when it's at its best. They play in it over and over again even when they are really done. It makes me feel good because I know they style all types of heads.... Sooo it's a compliment to me💟

Your hair is VERY beautiful and DON'T worry about heat damage. Hair grows back people and for those who are afraid of heat damage then DON'T USE HEAT😉...We should be able to wear our hair like we want too😊

Dwanda Lee *Thank you!* I have *never* had heat damage after going curly. When I straighten my hair, I have to use a lot of heat. And, it has to be touched up throughout the week. After an entire month, it goes right back to curly with no damage. It *is* possible. I *never* worry.
You only get heat damage if you don't wear a silk scarf at night and use a flat iron all the time
If your hair is properly moisturized and protected before straightening you will not get heat damage 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Haitian Gal I straighten my 3b/3c hair every week and I have very little heat damage. I have mastered a technique that works for my hair. Right now, my hair touches my tailbone. I’ve seen women that don’t apply heat to their hair and their hair is no where near as long and full as mines!
And also getting your hair trimmed every so often helps too. 😉

Lol ppl are TOO dramatic in this comment section. I’m a cosmetologist and how she straightened her hair was NOT in anyway excessive lol. I’ve seen worse. The cut wasn’t TOO MUCH either it looked like regular TRIM, how a trim is supposed to be. Heat damage happens when you’re doing it TOO OFTEN. I didn’t “cringe” at all. Lol ppl are extra 🙄
K. Mari Luv exactly!!! I dont straighten myhair often but if your hair is healthy and you prepare it correctly for the heat you will be fine. And the lady was cutting layers in her hair so yea it seemed like she was cutting a lot but its not like she was cutting in the same spot. She did a good job if you ask me. And im no hairdresser i just went natural back in the 90s so this is nothing new for me.

I simply loved it. That's that salon finish look that we come to a hairstylist for, she the customer was pleased and that's what all matters. When you bring in healthy hair it should come out looking like a professional has been in your hair.
I agree, I don’t understand why people watch videos like this if their anti heat. Unless they clicked just tell someone else how to live their life and do their job.
It’s interesting because the people I know who always criticize others for this... may wear their hair natural but everything else FAKE AF! They be going to get long acrylic nails, weaves put in (excuse is to protect their natural hair underneath), butt injections, implants, etc. HYPOCRITES at the highest level. SMH

To anyone who has concerns about heat damage, I think as with anything else in life, it's about moderation and making sure you have the right stylist who uses the proper technique. I've been getting a silk press for the last 9 years. I do it twice a year when I get my ends trimmed and have never experienced any heat damage.

WOW! You’re stylist was amazing! I stopped going to the hairdresser years ago because I could not find anyone this good. She didn’t stick you to the side while doing 2-3 other friends hair while you wait 4-5 hours for a wash, roll-up & put you under a dryer for hours. What a waste of time and money 💰.

The hair on this young lady is soooo how you say......WRONG!!! Girl you need to share with some of us who are in the Wish I Had Academy! I WISH I had all of that hair......I have at least 1/2 of it and I know it would grow more but I've got to stop being lazy. These kind of videos inspire me to do right by my hair. Belated happy birthday wishes! Always a blessing to see another year. Crystal did a *very nice* job.I was glad to see her use the good old fashioned straightening comb/hot comb/pressing comb. Flat ironing alone doesn't cut it for me. I only straighten my hair for my birthday, Christmas or special occasions for the most part. But sometimes, I go the entire year without straightening. Just not that in to it anymore. Your hair looks gorgeous!💜
Thank you so much! Straight hair is a lot easier BUT I’m not really into it anymore either. It’s just best for me to get trims when my hair is straight because it’s much easier to see the split ends, uneven parts, etc. I’m going to try to go an entire year without straightening... maybe even longer. I go to a dominican sister when I want my hair straighten. My friends freak out saying they us to much heat! I havent had any heat damage. Like you I usually straighten my hair around my birthday. Everyone's hair is different. Your hair is beautiful!
