I feel like curly cuts are not meant to worn straight. Since they always come out jagged.
They aren't! My salon specifically says on their site curly cuts are not meant to be straighten so you have to commit to being curly 24/7 if you're doing it. They won't even do your cut if you've straighten your hair in the past 6 months. Plus your hair will look crazy because they cut to make the curls pop not to make the length even.
this is true. the curly cut is literally meant for your hair in its curly state.

I appreciate this video so much!! Every time I get my hair cut, they tell me I should try a curly cut. I tell my stylist I wear it straight A LOT and she said it wouldn’t be a problem. When I say a lot, I mean my hair is straightened 80% of the time, so I usually ask them to cut it dry and straight. Good to know what it would look like!
i learned this the hard way lol. i wear my hair straight around half the time and when i got a curly cut i had to wait for it to grow out. curly hair can be styled and shaped to look good in whatever cut, but with straight hair if it’s uneven there’s no hiding it.

I cut a long piece of my hair way back and i had an upside down V. Had to get it fixed at a salon 😂😂😂😂 learned my lesson!

Hey when blowing out ur hair use the concentrated nozzle with the round brush it will make it hair straightener without using as much passes or heat since itd already very straight
i think she uses the dyson though because it’s really good for managing and preventing heat damage

Yess I love chi👏🏼👏🏼 i use it everytime i straighten my hair too, recently bought their keratin spray, a lot of reviews on it said it helped to retain length or that they had less breakage after using it

I also did a big chop, my curly hair was down to my butt! But I had a hard time maintaining it so I cut it up to where your’s is (after you trimmed the ends) with long layers and it curls up so nice and looks so short but I love it more than my long hair! I want to do short layers for my next haircut too.
Your hair look soooo much better and healthier once you cut the ends off. I'm encourage by your video to continue to cut my ends when necessary.
I think it's mostly the cut and not the health of her hair though?
She should have rather gotten her hair layered straight so it's even and will still look like that curly.
Her ends weren't unhealthy.....if you watched the video the ends were the result of a curly haircut. She could have left them but didnt want to only for aesthetic purposes.

I recently cut my hair too. I straightened and cut it myself. It looks uneven and unrealistic so I just wear it curly lol. I just wanted my dead ends gone. Let’s just say my curls are the best I’ve ever seen in my life. My mom used to perm my hair and then I started doing the same. I chopped all my hair off three times since 2017 so I’m just now seeing my most natural hair as a young adult. I’m glad I’m not in this stage of hair care alone lol

I was thinking about getting a curly cut but I like my hair to be pretty uniform when straight. I don't know if I could deal with that. I don't straighten my hair often. Maybe 3 times a year.

i like it, i think the bangs look fine as they are and they'd look cool/edgy if you left them out and put the rest in a ponytail
i prefer how it looked before you cut the ends, but I can understand why you chose to cut them, I personally just really like the super tapered/layered look on straight hair because I like the texture but if you're used to a blunter look its a big difference in preference
but I guess we're all always more critical to ourselves than to others :)

thats exactly what my hair looked like...but a lot shorter! There is hope...with the little cut you did at the ends it doesn't look that bad...curly cuts I feel are so hard because it looks cute curly, but is not meant to be straight. When I got my curly cut my hair was so choppy all over the place. Luckily my hair grows fast and now it is almost all the same length. I love your curly cut though!

Doesn’t matter because her ends needed it. And keeping dead ends just for a good curly haircut/style is stupid and will damage hair more

Since you have a dyson they have come put with a wide tooth comb attachment that I've seen some hair stylists use when they straighten curly hair. I know you don't straighten it often but maybe for next time
