Pulling the glove box out of my 2011 JKU, at the very highest level it looks to be the same. But the antenna cable on the JK looks really buried and I think there’s a lot more disassembly to it than the simple TJ. Maybe try finding the cable behind the glove box and wiggling it around to see if it changes your reception before you jump to replacing it? Maybe clean the threads/mounting hole of the antenna? I wonder how similar it is to a 2011 Wrangler. I'm having reception issues also. If I smack the dash, the reception will come back.
