What would you challenge Wazza to make next? Post your suggestion in the comments below!
As a McDonald’s worker I can say that the muffin was made incorrectly. The sausage is supposed to go on the cheese as it is hotter and melts the cheese better lol
The one supplied at the start that is
I too work at McDonalds and I approve of this
Plogytop he forgot to break the egg yolks too
I don't work at McDonald's, but I approve of this
The 58 dislikes are from people who work at McDonald's
Are people that own a MacDonald's
Hell yea! English muffins, sausage patties, an egg, and cheese slice!
Buy it all at Walmart
You forgot to pop the egg yolk. What happens when someone bites into that and the fucking yolk explodes like molten lava. Lawsuit incoming.
Are you stupid? Egg yolk becomes hard when it's cooked to a higher temperature. This literally could not happen because if the yolk was at a temperature hot enough to burn someone, it would be solid like a hard boiled egg.
@@TheCheat_1337 But you're supposed to break the yolk in a Sausage 'n Egg McMuffin so that the yolk doesn't drip all over the steering wheel.
Who else here works at McDonald’s and knows this is nothing like how muffins are cooked at McDonald’s au
Well he didn't have a recipe to go off, but he gave it a go! How would you cook it differently?
ch f ist the patty a chicken patty?
@@vricex_9999 no lol
I’ve been looking high and low for a sausage and egg English muffin maccas style recipe. All other recipes use pre-made sausage mince but I wanted to make it from scratch. You nailed the taste test! Tried this recipe and it turned out amazing, thank you so much!
I had to watch this because it kept coming up on my UA-cam..
Aussie Dude same
Great video! Looks super nice too 🤤😊
Thanks for this. I would like to try it some times.
Watching this at 5 am just drove me to Macca’s 😂
Yummo :)
LITERRALY has one of these yesterday. So happy I saw this.
My mouth is watering
This gave me inspiration to make my own version 👩🍳
It's as if Mark Ruffalo looked well, and became an entertaining chef.
Top stuff 👍
That sims 3 music at the beginning
Lol snaps his fingers at her.🤣🤣🤣
2:46 that song will go over a lot of peoples heads. The editor deserves a raise for the barstool one bite pizza review song. This editor is fricken underrated ahaha
So cool you made your own English muffins. One tip, they crack the egg yolk, mix, and then steam. But you probably know by now. Great video.
What cheese did you use it’s hard to find that real unhealthy yellow cheese that tastes awesome lol
brittany dummett burger slice from Coles dairylea brand closest to it
Kraft cheddar slices taste almost exactly the same
Aww thanks guys for the replies I will try both and see which I like better 😉 are they sold in Australia like woollies or coles
Anton Sox just noticed you wrote coles 🤪🤪 thanks 🙏
brittany dummett I think so I shop at Woolworths
Looks pretty good
Did u use sausage mince?
Cos they are made of sausage mice which come in a roll
McMuffin sausage DEFINITELY has fennel seed powder
Yeah, he missed that.
Yum
This was a great video, all these sooks need to go for a walk outside and smile
Watching this while eating a sausage egg McMuffin
haha lol me too! I was wondering how this freaking amazing sausage is done
I didn't even realise the sausage was beef
My kids are pretty happy with the copycat Maccas cheese burger today. So for tomorrow’s brekky, it’s going to be McMuffin 😅
He has a slight Rhodesian accent. Recipe looked great.
I work at maccas, u forgot the spray of canola oil on the bun
Gauthier Levier OMG YES and there’s also no salt
@@thdbsbhdhdjf5297 supposed to salt the patty when you take it off the grill you lazy f*ck
The sims music kinda just hit me different in this
Hahaha this isn’t the first random place I’ve heard sims music in the background ... it’s so random
Great recipe, kindly let me know if we can use same spices for chicken sausage instead of beef? thx in advance
Need to spray the egg and muffin with oil. I only know this because the self serve kiosk gives you the option to have no additional oil on the egg or muffin.
Liquid butter
Dear Mericans.
1. A "sausage" can be made from any meat you think of. Sausage is not just Pork as it has come to mean in the states.
2. Macdonalds Australia's website states this for the Sausage and egg McMuffin Quote "A hot beef sausage patty, topped with a slice of cheese on a toasted English muffin. Simple and satisfying"
To all others who have commented below but didnt read the very first entries made by the producers - All of the ingredients and methods are on their website and the page is listed above.
You're welcome
The egg yolks are broken before cooking. I know this because I work at a maccas
Eyyy my boi, this guy also thinks we season the sausage no no no
lmao I can confirm also
You pop the egg yolks for a maccas egg mate
there is specific tase to the patty that keeps me going back to macdonalds for this breakfast dish is it sage im going to buy it to add to other dishes i do at home because i love the taste and find it very addictive
Something about them tastes Soo good and peppery
Probably the pepper.
Woohoo!
I lowkey wasn't expecting to hear sims 3 music
im off to maccers fuck it. all that effort for that patties ill just buy some now haha
cooked 2 and shared one muffin
guessing cameraman was hungry lmao
Second one for the thumbnail and b-roll
What the hell are these comments lmao I feel bad for you
Yeah lol
@@thadawg0084 holy shit you're right
McDonald’s is actually very tasty you guys are just lying about hating it
I love when people spam the comments
Making muffins 🤔god no. Whats in the sausage thats all i came for, fast forward.
This homemade version is like200x better
Has anyone here worked at an Australian McDonald's. Its beef.
No, we haven't. Wazza has to try and guess how it's made based on taste and try to replicate it without knowing the precise ingredients. That's the idea of the segment. But thanks for letting us know!
on the US websites it says pork and rosenary extract.
@@assnut1000 oh so its a different animal in australia haha but in the US and philippines its pork
@@manuelmacalinao500 yes. not sure why but it still tastes like breakfast sausage and is tasty.
egg is always on the cheese (it should be as it melts the cheese better)
Are you..... Hulk?
I like how all the Amricanos are commenting on an Australian McDonalds product that they have no idea about 😂 They think everything is USA and nowhere else exists
Costco sell the yellow cheese squares hella expensive but yum
Not sure the prices your paying but i buy burger slices at coles and only get 12 slicer for $5.50 so prices and qty at costco is cheap
Where can we get the American cheese slices from in Australia..? I have never seen a single grocery store anywhere sell them..?
Only place i can think of is costco, But if you find out where else let me know !
@@Coppercalb Coles sells dairylea burger cheese slices that are just American cheese slices.
Your video is overly produced. Get rid of the sound effects.
Over produced and for the ingredients and quantities go to another site BS 👎🏽
Hard to actually hear the content over the music. So annoying.
Aimed at 6yo ? 😂
Yummy looks better
Who tf edits this
Tom Glenn Boomers
I love the mighty McMuffin more
In the words of Rodney Rude, never has a person describe McShit so perfectly McRubber McSponge Mcbun McShit that Mc Fucking small.
The Macca's pancake next
So wait - sausage mince or just regular beef mince?!
I've been trying to imitate this burger myself, but always tasted too 'sausage-y.'
A friend suggested adding heaps of breadcrumbs, but maybe I need to switch minces...please do tell!
i saw something awhile ago about this, this is why i came to this video, but they actually squash sausage and turn it into patties, they dont actually use beef, thats why it has that specific taste to it, i guess not too many people know about it
@princesspineapple9975 this is the Australian sausage mcmuffin which is with beef mince and spices
Egg yolks were meant to be broken
mark ruffalo is that u
👏🧐
I use Great Value Original sausage patty's, Thomas's English muffins, butter, Salt, Pepper, Sugar and Bongards Real American cheese.
Who eats McDonald’s at home?
Can you microwave these?
@7:22 looked good until you found a substitute for American cheese
U forgot Corn meal on d bun
In Oz it gets called corn polenta based on the Italian style rather than the Spanish/Mexican version of corn meal we can now get corn meal here that says corn meal and white corn meal from Mexico
I'm Aussie, yes it's polenta.
Ross Hamilton You’re reply makes no sense
Looked good but I've done egg like that and it's not the same as from a cafe or drive through. I actually opt for processed cheese slices, because that's exactly what they use. It don't work using non-processed cheese I think. For the egg, I drop it from a height to make it split, which I think is what they do in McDonald's. Burger King I think they use a scrambled egg patty.
Im very keen to try your sausage patty seasoning. When I use sausage meat from the store it just doesn't taste anywhere nes the same. I think the main flavouring comes from the fat
Actually, at Mc Donald's the just break the yolk with a skewer and make 2 stirs around the form to spread the yolk a bit. A friend is a store manager here in the US
With the egg in the middle, you just want to tap/split the yolk with a fork or knife. That’s how they get it in the drive thru
Do what I do and buy the best quality fresh pork sausages you can find, then squeeze the meat out of the casing. One sausage is the ideal amount for one breakfast pork pattie.
Close but not quite
he didnt use rosemary..... thats a requirment unless Aussie McD's sausage is formulated differently from Ameri McD's....
Well the protein used is different so the main recipe is probably different too
You deserve more subs
Should be done blindfolded, and no printed recipe
Great suggestion!
The main thing you did wrong was the egg, you are supposed to break the yolk.
👍
jokes on you i’ve made 200 sausage and egg mcmuffins and i’m 15
Yeah, I love 'em too!
I want a recipe from Sausage Patty. How much do they do? Can someone tell me?
Yes very unhelpful isn’t it. I would guess if using 500gm of meat mince maybe a teaspoon for the other ingredients except for salt, sugar and pepper? Perhaps a quarter of a teaspoon for those? That should work?
Disappointed that parts were fast forwarded through. How are we meant to replicate it?
Bacon egg and cheese biscuit
What can I use instead of an egg ring?
I find egg rings always leak, I have a pan that is the perfect size for one egg... not very useful if you want quantity though
I know its a little late but try cookie cutters
Sorry for being late, late, but use aluminum foil!
Make it in a circle and try to double fold the foil, so you can use the second layer to fold inside the circle, causing it to stay firm and not open up!
Your welcome
stiff cardboard ring wrapped in tinfoil and baking paper works for me
@@johnr5867
That is a terrible suggestion, because if you do a bit of research, you will see that cooking with aluminum foil touching your food is believed to be a cause of Alzheimer’s disease. The aluminum leeches into your food, which bypasses the blood brain barrier.
KFC chicken?
Can you please recreate KFC original chicken?
Thanks for the suggestion :) We may need to give it a try!
He’s going to start off by breading a piece of fish
I wonder what meat they use at KFC in Australia...
Why no measurements

You didn't butter the muffin after toasting
@Jake Thejeweller ahhhh.... I have never been offered veg oil in Oz, but that's good but of new trivia.....thank you👍🏼
@Jake Thejeweller I hear ya....I have never had a McMuffin in Australia, Had McDonald's once but I usually avoid US fast food abroad. We have enough of it here 😂🤣😂
Wheres my maccas kitchen gang at
I can guarantee you vegans and vegetarians love Sausage McMuffins as well
Yeah that’s wrong the order goes
Muffin
Egg
Sausage
Cheese
Muffin
Soooooo....
cody reid that’s what he did
cody reid that’s actually wrong i’ve been at mcdonald’s for over 3 and a half years. it’s the english muffin first then reg cheese then sausage patty and then the egg with a dash of melted butter in the other piece of muffin
thdbsb hdhdjf | I also been at mcdonalds for a few years, and your right. But remember, we do make them upside down so when we wrap them its the right way up with the reg cheese on the bottom and the butter sprayed muffin on top.
Who cares
I buy just the patties from mc d's and make my own at home because the egg is usually overdone. Only 90c a patty.
They sell them frozen?
What?!
Are you Donny Osmond 🤔
No its one of those Brady boys
I thought there was soya protein in them to.!!
I make my own breakfast sandwich first I start with either Jimmy. Dean or Bob Evan breakfast sausage I don’t like the egg toast in English muffin and a slice of American cheese very simple and taste much better then McDonald
You can do a better job with a toaster and frying pan than mcdonalds
please don’t turn into hulk
Everything is shortcut
Wrong kind of cheese
🙂👍👍👍👍👍
Did you say beef is the main ingredient you used? A breakfast _sausage_ pattie should be 100% pork! I buy best quality pork sausages from Aldi or Tesco and squeeze out the sausage meat. This is 90 to 95% pork content. I make 6 patties at a time and freeze them. When frozen I bag them with my vacuum sealer.
Best quality meat from Aldi 🤣😭
@@p.o.662 can't go wrong
😂
In ireland, we have the packages that say "Ispini" (Irish term for sausages)
Which for some reason has less bitterness but way better taste then any I've tasted
in Australia the patties are beef
@@carallyw2757 That's crazy. Does Australia not have pork sausages? Is it a religious thing? I've heard this before, by the way, about the beef "patties". Surely Australian McDonald's don't market these as "Sausage and Egg McMuffin"? If it contains a beef burger, that's what it is, a burger! With egg and cheese.
@@SuperLittleTyke No not religious. I guess we just like beef better. We do have pork and pork sausages, but again we prefer beef sausages. Well at least I do lol
Need bacon
Poor Lucy...
So America has bacon and Austraila and Canada have Sausage?
We have bacon McMuffins too
We have one on Australia with bacon, egg and sausage, i kind of wish we had the pork sausage though.. should be an option for both.
@@sahilsquadron2286they trialled the pork one years ago and it failed miserably
In Australia we have sausage mcmuffin, sausage and egg mcmuffin and bacon/egg mcmuffin
@@sahilsquadron2286they trialled it years ago where they stopped using beef and switch to pork but it failed miserably and everyone demanded to go back to beef
Chicken nuggets
