I'll be honest - I went into this video expecting to see full justification for why I don't eat at McDonald's. Instead, I see a insanely clean kitchen run incredibly efficiently. It's not gonna make me rush out and buy a BigMac or anything right now, but this helps me appreciate what you fast food workers have to do every day. I mean, I was never (and will never be) one of those people who thinks working fast food is any more or less important than anything else, but getting this first-hand look at what goes on in one of those kitchens is an interesting thing. Great video.
it's incredible how every step is so well thought out to be the most efficient. Specialized tools, layouts etc. I mean they even spaced the bacon out on the paper so you don't have to pull it apart! Every second counts. And it ensures consistency, like with the bacon, instead of pulling it apart and changing the bacon size or ripping it in half. The wide spatula to take out the eggs all at once. The layout of where the tools are and where the food is. It's down to a science!
Honestly (pleasantly) surprised at the effort to ensure no cross contamination. Few commercial kitchens could ever hope to maintain this level of clean. Love the videos!
Just saying, as a kitchen worker from france putting gloves to put the fried chickens inside the oil to avoid touching the chickens it's "too much" since oil is legit frying every bacteria ^^ but great vid :)
My family had a few McDonalds in the late 80's & early 90's. Nothing like this, love watching what they changed over the years. I always wanted to see how they planned all the new equipment and designing it.
Hey man this might sound silly but watching your POVs inspires me to work faster in the kitchen and even though I don't have a career in cooking I've found increased enjoyment in little things as simple as plating something neatly the way you place buns and assemble consistently on the wrapping papers so I just wanted to pop by and say thank you, congrats on the recent spike in subs, and I hope you keep the content coming!
Lots of respect for your hard work and dedication to your job. It is unfortunate that, as customers, we always complain and take the employees for granted. We truly don’t appreciate how much work that goes into preparing each and every meal. Thank you for showing us a little glimpse of a day at your job. Thank you and all the food service workers for everything you do! 👍
I work at McDonald's and watching this gives me nostalgia whenever I'm not working. Fast food or not, I enjoy cooking and giving people food - feels like I make other people's days.
I worked at McDonalds 2005-2006 and I'll say it was nothing like it is now. I applaud you for how well you do your work. Back in the day, it was pure hell. Keep up the good work!
man its crazy to see how little you guys cook per batch for breakfast. i work sat and sun breakfast currently, and we run through 4 folded eggs in like 3 minutes max, if not all in one order. we usually do 4 trays of 8 round, 3 trays of 12 folded, 2 trays of 4 scramble, and 3 trays of 16 sausage. timers rarely go off even when we have this much prep, and it lasts pretty much the entire breakfast shift.
Respect the hard work you put in man. Society likes to call this unskilled labor, but this takes a lot of skill to do well in my opinion. We need to start treating all work as valuable.
Wowwww! Ummm..just wow. In remember working so hard at McDonald’s at the age of 16, 1975-1976. I was able to run the grill, and every single foe other position! I worked there over 2 years. I loved working there, making $2.32 an hour yall! But I loved the job. I learned all positions, I worked for Ray Kroc! If you don’t know who his is…well let me just say, she is the founder!!! Thank him for those fries! I’m very proud to say that!
This is a lot more interesting than I first thought. I’ve only ever seen the inner workings of McDonalds through the drive-thru or standing waiting for my food in the restaurant. This is a great perspective into what a person actually does in their job
Wish I was in the blue glove business. I'd be RICH!!

Long-form vids are the way to go my dude! 20+ min lunch rush video would be sick.

McDonald’s always sounds like a hospital

Placing the burgers on the grill sounded like Lego bricks

A video explaining all of the alarms and beeps you hear in the restaurant would be super interesting
