Motorcyclist Crashes Off Dover Road - Woodlawn, TN (7/14/24)

UPDATE: The crash was initially reported as a hit and run. According to a preliminary THP report, the other vehicle was still at the scene. The report describes the vehicle as a 2006 Chevy IL2, driven by 24-year-old Bethany Burchett. The motorcycle was described as a 2024 BMW S100 driven by Joshua Beck, who was transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt. According to the report, both vehicles were driving westbound on Dover Road in the outermost lane. The motorcycle was “following improperly” alongside the Chevy. This is when the motorcycle struck the far right rear of the Chevy, lost control, and then crashed into the wood line off to the right side of the road.

Woodlawn, Tenn. - A motorcyclist was transported by LifeFlight to Nashville after a serious crash. It occurred at approximately 10:41 p.m. on Dover Road in front of Liberty Elementary School. It appears the motorcycle ended up off the road after the crash. The crash was reported as a hit and run. Information is limited. This article will be updated.
