Eleanor’s face when she said “it’s kinda cute”, I can’t. She’s absolutely, positively too good for this world. She’s practically perfect in every way. It’s at 5:44 in case you were wondering!
Little thing about me: I was born with two extra thumbs on both of my hands basically have four thumbs. I had been nicknamed as a little crab for a short while but when I mean short while, I mean like for four minutes before my parents removed them. Learning this years later from the remaining scars that stay on my thumbs, it all made sense. I was upset because I had thought it would be cool, and I’m still a little upset, haha. But anyway, I would’ve gotten bullied I suppose if I had those two extra thumbs. But I thought I would share that! P.S. always love yourself no matter what you look like! What matters is what you truly are on the inside. ♥️💞✨
That's very interesting! Were they the same size as your "normal" thumbs? Did they have their own complete sets of skeletal and muscular components? (Maybe hard to know if you were still an infant at the time) It's fun to imagine what extra dexterity you might have had, but like you said, bullying might have been harsh, and who knows what effect that might've ultimately had on you. And good luck finding gloves with extra thumbs!
My god child and his father were both born with an extra pinky on their hands and feet. There were no bones in the fingers just like extra tissue so they had them removed BUT they both have 12 toes 😊 atleast the dad will never need a DNA test 😂
You'd think, if Grady The Murdered One was such a celebrity to his fellow carnival workers, that they'd have made more of an effort to show up for his funeral....
My little sisters best friend Tiffany had the same condition. Just one hand . She got made fun of so much and I always found it so sad bc she was such a lovely girl . People need to learn to be more accepting! Thanks for another great one !
i can never feel bad for abusers who get offed by their victims after their brutalization makes the victim break into violent self defense. good riddance tbh
It always bothers me that it's "justified self defense" if you're lucky enough to win in the life or death struggle against your abuser only during the actual fight. If not, hey you're just another victim. But she suffered DECADES of the most horrible abuse, honestly believed he'd changed, and then realized she'd made a horrible mistake of taking him back that was gonna end up costing her life in the end. Yes, it WAS self defense, because the man was a known violent abuser and KNOWN murderer.
Many of the ‘freaks’/ perfomers in AHS freak show were based on real people, it’s super interesting to learn about. The Tattler twins are based on Daisy and Violet Hilton and I recommend looking them up too as they have a really interesting and sad life story ❤️
I had to draw the family tree to help myself figure out what’s going on, so I’m leaving it down below in case anyone else needs it. Grady -- Grady | Grady-- Grady Grady-- Grady | Grady-- Grady Grady-- Grady | | Grady Grady Grady Grady Hope this helps! ;)
The fiancé of Lobster Boys daughter was my grand uncle his name was Jack Layne he was a twin of my grandma if I’m not mistaken I don’t really care if you guys believe me. I never met him but my grandma has told my mom and my mom has told me about it.
Iain Bentley Yes pretty insane I was told about it throughout my life I can’t recall when I first heard but I was around 9 most likely when I first found out pretty crazy

The girl having run off from her abusive step dad to be part of the Freak show also reminds me of the girl in ahs that then gets mutilated by her father
My dad (60) told me he saw the lobster boy when he was younger. It was at a show in New Jersey and he was the last one in the stand staring at the lobster boy as everyone was walking away due to the show being over, they made eye contact for a while and he said "Uh, okay sport" I asked him about the other crew members but he doesn't remember seeing any of them. Grady? Come here! No no no, I mean Grandpa Grady! Yea, Grady come here! Oh you can’t? Oh then send Grady over instead.
my roommate’s boyfriend is named Joseph and every single male in his family is named Joseph, and from what i’ve heard, family gatherings for them are the most terrifying things in the world
Ah yes. The Grady bunch.
"Hey, Grady!"
A unison of "What?" and "Hm?" can be heard throughout the house.
“Uncle Grady!” 10 Grady’s turn around
Eleanor’s face when she said “it’s kinda cute”, I can’t. She’s absolutely, positively too good for this world. She’s practically perfect in every way.

Little thing about me:
I was born with two extra thumbs on both of my hands basically have four thumbs.
(Maybe hard to know if you were still an infant at the time)
It's fun to imagine what extra dexterity you might have had, but like you said, bullying might have been harsh, and who knows what effect that might've ultimately had on you.
And good luck finding gloves with extra thumbs!
👍🤣💖
My god child and his father were both born with an extra pinky on their hands and feet. There were no bones in the fingers just like extra tissue so they had them removed BUT they both have 12 toes 😊 atleast the dad will never need a DNA test 😂
American horror story inspo For the lobster boy in the freak show
Nadz A exactly what I thought
Also took place in Florida.
Omg, yeah
All AHS seasons are based on real events and characters
other things, i think? The tall lady, and half half women, (been a few years since I seen it)
You'd think, if Grady The Murdered One was such a celebrity to his fellow carnival workers, that they'd have made more of an effort to show up for his funeral....
Ernst this is like how everyone came to gatsbys parties but when he was murdered no one came to his funeral
aya winslow that’s exactly what I thought!
I’d assume they probably watched him turn more and more vile as he aged and ended up resenting the little bastard
The justice system is disgusting. A horriable men is not lock up yet a man trying to save his mum from him get life.
This inspired Evan Peters’s character in the 4th season of American Horror Story.
Kae McSpadden no it’s not, jimmy darling was inspired by him

My little sisters best friend Tiffany had the same condition. Just one hand . She got made fun of so much and I always found it so sad bc she was such a lovely girl . People need to learn to be more accepting! Thanks for another great one !
Bruh i literally got shivers when she talked about mary going to sleep but then he crawled in the room on to the bed 😫

"He helped her claw her way to the top" PLEASE I LITERALLY WAS DOING HOMEWORK AND LOOKED UP LIKE "H u h?"
I'm on Marys side, hes a horrible man.
i can never feel bad for abusers who get offed by their victims after their brutalization makes the victim break into violent self defense.
good riddance tbh
Agreed. It's self-defense.
She got too much time.
Same
The fact that you say, “I mean no disrespect to anyone in this case,” i mean the killers don’t deserve respect but you still are respectful
Lydia K respect for the victims:)
I know, she’s honestly amazing
She means others with strange conditions "freeks"

First thought: WAS THIS THE INSPO FOR AHS: FREAK SHOW??!?!??!
One of them, yes
Yes
Thought so !!
Many of the ‘freaks’/ perfomers in AHS freak show were based on real people, it’s super interesting to learn about. The Tattler twins are based on Daisy and Violet Hilton and I recommend looking them up too as they have a really interesting and sad life story ❤️
a lot of things in american horror story are based on real people, places or things.

*ick - THEE - oh - sis*
Bruh he just needs the right kind of oils and lotions for his skin
Maya Andino uh n o-
@@PrincessPheonix06 No, that condition cannot be cured by creams or lotions. They need to take a medication that is very aggressive on the body so they can only take it when the become adults. That means living your whole childhood and adolescence as "the alligator kid". I had a classmate back in HS with that had the condition. He looks almost normal nowadays because he can take the medication now. His skin looks very tight and shinny, that's all.
