      Bad cops know what to do they go through the same training, they choose to become bad cops on their own

    • @conmando
      @conmando 6 років тому +12

      that's a pretty ignorant way to approach the issue. nobody makes a decision to "become bad." and officers do not all receive the same training. some departments are better than others and some have more resources to train their officers.
      and cops don't experience the same job. some are in small towns where everyone knows everyone's name. others are in high-stress situations in bad neighborhoods with actual killers who would love to kill a cop.
      there are definitely issues with excessive force (as there are in any situation where someone is given power/authority), but simply attributing it to "choosing to become a bad cop" is stupid and doesn't get anyone closer to an actual solution.

    • @kanamekiyru
      @kanamekiyru 6 років тому +10

      conmando so what your saying is they’re forced to be bad cops😑you sound stupid for that. Same way you chose not to be a bad guy and go to jail. We may not all have the same training and resources but you know how to not be a bad guy. We all face different things and some of us live in small towns some are in big cities but you still know how not to be a bad guy and if you chose to be a bad guy then you know the difference and good guys aren’t gonna be good examples on how to be good because you’re still gonna be that bad guy at the end of the day. We all have common sense

      Ken Durham You do realize that police interact with people millions of times per year and almost all of them end with both parties just walking or driving away, right?
      Tens of thousands of traffic stops per week and we’ve seen between 500-1500 police involved fatalities per year for the last 8 years. Your actual odds of being shot by police in any case is under .000004 based on the average number of police interactions per year by the number of police involved shootings.
      Now that has nothing to do with the fact of the shooting being justified or not.
      I think you’re pretty safe whether or not the cameras are on.
