I am italian and I swear: this guy is AMAZING, he just cooks the italian family authentic style, with professional touches here and there. So much passion in his job. Fantastico.
npar di palle. tutto quell'olio in italia non si usa
By the way, do you know where is that place he is recording from?
Is it in italy?
mutaz its the amalfi coast
Accirt
Ma quando mai??? 😒
The landscape behind him is incredibly beautiful..
go to italy, the whole place looks like that
Looks like Amalfi
he must be high up near Ravello on the amalfi coast
Major Disarray
He’s from Minori so possibly there. As others have said it’s on the Amalfi Coast.
@@nick260682 Definitely looks like a certain Basilica in the background there.
I miss this older videos, longer, more relaxed,no content cutting,no music,no screaming! Do more like this please!
+TOXIC TEMPLAR agreed more natural. yells when he needs to lol (more funnier that way)
You can see the pure passion, uncut and raw. Not just the product in measly 3 minutes or less!
No screaming?!! I'm almost deaf from this one :D
What do u mean he's clearly very unloud for an italien
Wow it’s crazy how London his accent is while he is still so Italian! Love it.
For a perfect food follow these rules :
1- add olive oil before cooking
2- add olive oil while cooking
3- add olive oil after cooking
extra virgen olive oli please...
Would you like some pasta with your olive oil?
@@matthewkangaroo1 extra virgen oil, and depend of the kind of pasta. today I don't need thanks
lol..hes a nut case
It's the same for fapping.

I love how he smacked the sht out of the basil
Hahaha, the sass is excellent. It bruises the basil lightly to release the aroma (a molecule called estragole used as a defense mechanism against hungry bugs).
ikr hahaha
@@sockmon1 thanks doctor
Yes lol
Gennaro's famous quotes:
Yes!
Today, I gonna show you
Fantastico!
Why I am cooking so good!
Come on!
Dont forget:
Slowly, slowly.
Sweat it, not burn it.
Oh, my my.
It takes a minut.
oh my my
D'you know what? (Cockney accent) :P
Look A THAT!
abundant olive oil
Watched this video a month ago, I now can't have tomato and chili sauce any other way. Couldn't believe how something so simple can taste so good, Gennaro, WHY YOU COOKING SO GOOD?!!!
He's italian dude that's why
dude he litteraly just melted tomatoes with garlic and basil... I don't get the hype
@@gabbeat u need a try it
@@gabbeat one day you'll understand :)
@@Star-gr4fk the hype is his personality, nothing more
"Garlic is good for the vampire...... " LOL
And tomato stems are for the bugs :)
And here I was thinking garlic was actually bad for the vampire...
my name is naket thats's what he ment but because of how translates in his mind...italian to english...it can be quite difficult when english is not the language you think in.
Yes, it's as if "vampire" was sort of a decease or a condition you might casually catch. That's the funny part.
what does he mean by "vampire"? i am not a native speaker, just curious.
made this for my wife she loved it and i got some thanks chef
Sultan Almulla I made some for my wife and she loved it.
did she give you head?
You need to cook to your wife to get some? man ow man..... sad story bro
only thanks? :)))
You got some?

Cooking outside on a balcony with an awesome view. That's as cool as it can get
The shot at 5:12 is amazing.
I love this man. I wish I could meet him some day. When I get home from a long stressful day, It's great to watch him cook. He's very soothing to watch and his passion is infectious. Grazie mille!
Gennaro why u cookingg soo goodaa
dude he litteraly just melted tomatoes with garlic and basil... I don't get the hype
@@gabbeat since u never até dat?
@@ChaosAT I did about a thousand time, I just feel a 5 year old kid can make that dish
@@gabbeat you ate it 1000 times but not this specific recipe and surely not with homemade taglierini
@@gabbeat Cooking isn't a competition in complexity lol
I love this guy he has so much passion and I like his hands on no fuss approach to cooking!
Legend. Absolute legend. Every one of his recipes I've made has been tremendous. And what a nice guy too. Thankyou Gennaro for taking me on a fabulous taste tour over the years. Maximum respect
I love Gennaro! I don't have any Grandparents, they passed away when I was about 1 year old, Gennaro is like my crazy Italian Granpa!
Look at these tomatoes. Looks like ruby. Shining and beautiful
+Liu Frank If I could find these jewels, I would start to cry, fall on my knees and sing a Te Deum. Unhappily we are too close to the States, and forgotten by God.
+Liu Frank The dish is simple to cook but all about the quality of ingredients. The same dish made with supermarket tomatoes, industrial olive oil and industrial pasta is totally different. In italy we are very lucky about the quality of products and this is the mai reason why our cuisine is good and healthy.
+gobbi dimerda I do heartily agree. When my heirloom tomatoes are ripe, I make fresh pasta with true italian flour and fresh eggs I get from a friend who has poultry in free range and a precious genuine italian olive oil more expensive tan diamonds I use for great occasions...Costly but it's paradise food, it happens maybe twice a year. You are extremely lucky...
Man, I feel like I just went on vacation from watching a UA-cam video. Absolutely amazing chef Gennaro and scenery.. what an outdoor kitchen that is
I love you Gennaro and I have always loved the close friendship that you and Jamie have kept alive for all these years. He seems to respect your advice and efforts over the years. I will keep watching whatever you do.
Jamie nad Gennaro this is what the cooking is about .I love the way you both present the simple way of discovering new flavours.Simple ,nothing wasted and at the same time healthy and delicious.
None of the formula business
Backdrop is beautiful. What a lovely place to cook.
Where is he?

Don't often bother to comment or even watch cooking but made this last night and its spectacularly good. So much flavour (I added pancetta!)
He makes cooking simple and passionate for everyone. There's nothing like traditional food.
Made this last night! So simple but maximum flavour! Great dish and a must try.
Genaro and Jamie together, awesome!
Best and most friendly and healthy explanation from first class chef!
Gennaro! You are the reason I want to learn Italian and travel to Italy! You are so inspiring!
So charismatic and passionated. Man, I love that guy!
Gennaro doesn`t need Jamie. JAMIE let Gennaro do his own thing. I love him
His accent is awesome. Italian cockney! :D
He trained Jamie Oliver, got his Essex twang...its so funny.
This guy is a master, i love seeing real Italians cooking, its no one better to show you how to make a genuine dish
Simplicity at its finest!
Oh my my this incredible dish! Maximun flavors yes! Bless you Genanaro!

Bless Gennaro...my dish look like yours and taste i think like yours...thank you maximo gennaro!
This combination of ingredients especially with a parmesan on top - makes me lose control completely! Thank you Gennaro... as always!
I like the way he cooks--simple steps with natural ingredients. Simple and healthy.
a very easy way to pimp this recipe:
I've added Mozzarella chopped in small pieces at the and and gave it a good stir in a big circular motion. the whole thing gets a very nice orange color! the mozzarella gives it an extra creaminess which is perfect to balance the hotness a little bit.
I added a fried egg, Nutella, two burgers, French fries and half a Domino's pizza.
The back drop is beautiful
Stunning yes!
I looove this guy!!! More plz!! I miss Italy!
I love Gennaro he is very positive in cooking.
Love you, Gennaro! Wow! I'm NEVER putting my tomatoes in the fridge again😉
incativated they're fine in the fridge, and the freezer. You can store most foods in a fridge, you should give it a go.
incativated billions of times? God, you'd think someone with an IQ over 10 might have changed their ways after the first billion fails. Did you read the link I posted or just ignore it and lash out at me in retaliation?
In the summer it is so hot in my country (Greece) that if you keep fruit outside , everything goes moldy after a couple of days
@Kathrina hahaha
@incativated bullshit artist!
Love when he say's " three ingredients maximum flavour "
It is always a pleasure to watch Genaro cooking very simple but super tasty dishes like this one above. congratulations Genaro, I wish you are good and keep inspiring people the way you do best, by cooking.
I love watching Gennaro.
Looookadaaaat!! Fantastiiik!!
thanks Gennaro ;)
nice recipe simple and fresh ingredients people in UK don't do this they use canned tomato or ready made sauce in avaliable in super markets this food is so good that's why gennaro looks so healthy
Just amazing everything .. landscape, herbs, flavours , passion and emotions and gestures , casual outfit , So Charming and appealing ! Desiring this meal!
This taste absolutely amazing! the heat and the sweetness from the tomato! Amazing!
His favorite ingredient : Pasta Water!
No, it's definitely olive oil!
+Haydn J.H. extra vergin olive oil!!!!!

Rookie comment. Anyone who knows how to make pasta properly knows how important the starchy pasta water is.
Always use a bit in my sauce, gives it a shine.
this must be awesome...and what'd good about his video, is it's explaining from beginning(how to make a pasta noodle) to the end(how to cook a simple yet great pasta)
pure love and passion from a true legend ;)
I love your personality Gennaro! Probably the best of all the other chefs on Jamie's channel!
This is the way to cook! Not the tinned crap with all the additives.. Fresh from the garden is the best!
Keemi
It doesnt get any better than that.
Amo tu manera Gennaro!!
We should all be so happy. Thank you for your fantastic recipes and wonderful positive attitude , so refreshing in this day and age. 😎✌️❤️
Tomatoes: put in a bowl and leave them inside the house. The kitchen is the best place.
Thanks Gennaro. I had previously been keeping them in the toilet.

That coastline. So beautiful.
There really is nothing to cooking Italian food.
Simple but tasty.
Wait wait wait: This place is Orto Paradiso isn't it? I spent my honeymoon there! Great Place!!!
(And great recipe! )
He's packed FULL of passion!
Tomatoes+Aluminum Pan... The best combo ever!
And tomato stalk and leaves... toxic !!
"Talking to the tomato stalk" hahaha
I've been saying 'Come on' while cooking ever since I saw him.
How can you not love this guy!
Gennaro and Jamie are the best !
this guy is the reason people subscribe to this channel, not Jamie :D
Sasho Lazeski No, I like Jamie Oliver too.
I always like Gennaro's videos after I watch through but the moment he listed all the good reasons to eat garlic, and "most of all, its good for the vampire" I had to stop watching until I slammed the like button before watching more
I love you Gennaro!!
I love you Gennaro! Amazing.
and here I am eating 2 minute noodles. T_T
this is the realest comment.
Don't ever do that again!
😂
Peter Park but seriously this only took a few minutes to cook!
This is the kind of view we have on Corfu
I love Gennaro's videos!!
I love this guy's energy!!
god, he's charming.
Why am i so good !
We don't know yet, Mohammed. Since you asked 4 years ago, I've studied your case exclusively and I still have no clue. I wish you good luck, but of course you don't need it... I'll never forget you
@@Feniso Well hello Papageno! I have also studied my comment and yours over the past 4 year and it seems that there is no solution to my case. I hope I hear from you in another 4 years or so with an effective cure. I will never forget you Papageno.
Gennaro ist einfach wunderbar so wie er an die Sache herangeht! 💯
Just made this recipe and it is soooooo good, hopefully some day when my family and I visit this area l could meet the legend, ciao Gennaro.
He should hire Gordon Ramsay's camera man. He gets real close to the food.
haahaha food porn,
Hi sorry ware is oning .Becouse I can belive souce with out oning
Italian charisma and food! Wonderful :)~~
I love you Genero! You just snapped me out of my post holiday blues xxx
Garlic is good for every and for the one part😂
omg why am i putting tomatoes in the fridge
+azncoffee I do not know. I do not and never have... the only things I put in the fridge are things that can grow deadly bacteria rather quickly. Everything else, no fridge.
You, bastard!
I love Gennaro!!!
The most delicious fragrant easy pasta ever! Thanks!
Is it just me or does he alternate between an Italian accent and a British accent every so often? ._.
i thought that
man it's weird. his accent changes from italian to british throughout this video.
dude this is my first time being roasted while watching his videos. after i read your comment i went into high high concentration and you fucking called it. wonder if one is a fake
+dudefacial he is an Italian man who learned english off Brits. Not a fake.
Yes
Think it is weirder that you noticed that
Has to be Australian Calabrese.
Will be trying this. Thank you Gennaro
He makes it look so simple and good!
0:46 wtf
😂😂 he's too funny
Gennaro deserves better than Jamie, I hate Jamie’s patronizing behavior when he’s with Gennaro.
Preachy celebs' turn me off
love Gennaro's videos!
Gotta love Gennaro.
Top, top bloke ❤️
aren't tomato greens poisonous they're part of the nightshade family.
Indeed. The stems contain tomatine and solanine, both of which are highly poisonous.
I was thinking the exact same thing..... 🤔
Spasibo! Merci! Grazie!
I like his cooking style - keep it simple and fresh.
This one was really really good: marvelous advice concerning the oil&flavour of the tomato and letting it be outside the frige. Thanks for this upload.
