Always have a stash of canned tomatoes, though I recommend to people to check if they have acidic additions which usually means they're worse and cheaply done.

This sauce is the BOMB! Easy to make and taste better than what you get at the store! Made it 2 times now. Only need to find even better boxed tomatoes.
Wow I love to hear that 😍 thank you Zack!
I have so much basil in my garden. I can't wait to test this method out.
Wonderful! Please try it and let me know!
thank you so much for making these videos. Tomato sauce may seem really easy to prepare, but there's so many mistakes you can make (especially if you aren't a talented cook). Thank you for entertaing us while educating us!
it is always a pleasure for me to share these recipes!
As you said, the sauce is not very simple, but if you follow the right recipe it can be done perfectly! 😋
I made this and it was absolutely fantastic! Especially to dip the PALOTTE CACIO E UOVA in. Magnificent! I canned a lot of it last fall and it only lasted six months. I'm doing double the amount this fall.
That's wonderful to hear! 😄🇮🇹 Pairing this pasta with PALOTTE CACIO E UOVA sounds like a heavenly combination. Doubling up on the canning is a smart move. Enjoy your delicious homemade Italian treats! 🍝🧀🍳👌
Thank you for this, just made an amazing tomato sauce!
Super!!
Thank you 😍😍
This was a very good sauce !
Excellent with fresh from the garden tomato 🍅🍅🍅😁
That sounds absolutely delightful! 🍅🍅🍅 Fresh tomatoes from the garden can take a sauce to a whole new level. I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed it! 😄🇮🇹🍝😁
A loaf of bread, a bowl of your sugo, and a glass of wine is all I need! Grazie Signor!
Mmh, what a goodness 😍
Thank you for being a great inspiration to us all, Vincenzo! You've made this Swede find the tastiness of making your own pasta sauce!
Please keep doing what you're doing :)
“Don’t call it gravy”, EXACTLY!!!! Thank you for that
this is something I really care about !!
I had no idea people called it gravy.
@@DeepSixedCain im american, and have never in my entire life heard anyone call that in particular gravy. sometimes they add pepper to a roux and call that country gravy but never a red sauce.
@@DeepSixedCain Sauce or Sugo, which means sauce in Italian. Gravy are drippings from meat to make gravy to cover your Turkey or Roast.
Italian Americans have adopted the " gravy " name probably because non Italo Americans began call Sugo , gravy. No other country in the world calls Sugo , gravy.
In New York and New Jersey Italian Americans call it gravy if the sauce has meat in it. “The Sunday gravy” you’ll hear it.
I must admit Vincenzo, I had my doubts about your passata recipe. I thought, "surely it can't be this easy. Surely thev fresh basil can't add such good flavor that fast. " I was so surprised at how simple and delicious it was. I used that recipe to add to this one. It makes me wonder what I've been doing with my life. My kids loved making it all day because we made a much bigger batch and we didn't have a vegetable mill, unfortunately. Best homemade pizza and spaghetti sauce I've ever tasted.
Thank you so much.
I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the passata recipe and found it simple yet delicious! 🍅🌿 It's amazing how a few fresh ingredients can elevate the flavor of a dish. I'm glad your kids had fun making it too, even without a vegetable mill. Keep exploring and experimenting in the kitchen. Buon appetito! 🍕🍝
How bad can that be. Simple, quality ingredients. Can't wait to make it. Love his style and his passion. Very easy to listen to.
Hope you enjoy 😍 Please make it and let me know 😋 I'm sure you will do an amazing job!
My 3 kids definitely approve. It’s the only sauce they’ll eat. I grow my own Roma & San Maranzano tomatoes & every harv st we make & can our sauce for the entire year
That's fantastic! Nothing beats homemade sauce from fresh tomatoes. Your kids have great taste! 🍅👨👩👧👦 Keep up the great work in the kitchen! 👨🍳
