This is similar to the recipe we use to make a Swiss Roll in the U.K. it’s absolutely DELICIOUS! I make it with whipped cream and pineapple jam (I think it would be pineapple jelly in the US? ). Thank you for your wonderful recipes, they really make my day ( I have serious kitchen envy, your kitchen is a work of art whist still functional, beautiful)

Jams being made with mashed fruit, and Jellies being made with strained fruit juices, grape jelly for instance, famously used for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Then, of course, there are Preserves, mostly large pieces or whole fruit, and then there is MARMALADE....and I side with Paddington Bear on this topic. I too was raised eating marmalade sandwiches (and am still eating almost 60 years later), and the marmalade MUST have the most delicious pieces of thickly sliced orange peel within....those that you can pick out and chomp on reflectively 🍊, with a hot cup of cocoa of course 🤗

Also, I bake with my granddaughter she’s 5 She wants to learn how to make cupcakes like the pictures with the swirly fluffy frosting. So I got on Amazon and ordered a beginners Wilton piping kit. I’m excited to learn this with her👩🍳🧁👩🍳🧁

John I live in Belize Central America where it's 80% humidity 365 days of the year and every weekend I add merenge to my lemon pie but it's very difficult to get stuff peaks, I add lemon !
