Many Thanks, I will try and do more but also have to focus on other things, This channel is growing so I will have to focus more on it now. also many comments, Many thanks
Hi, Yes I have been working on that as I am going around I am trying to make some arrangements but want to focus on the areas first and then go back to the properties. There is logic to my madness, if a small place then I might show that but bigger complexes warrant their own video. thanks for your comment
Normally I would say that sometimes the trafic is quite bad in Hua Hin especially when the children are let out of the schools and at the weekend. However I have been stuck in traffic on the way to Pattaya for almost the hour with the one way trafic so I understand. Hua Hin also has some Bar areas but not so big I suppose. But Hua Hin is Great and only spent a few hours in Pattaya and that was enough for me I wanted to come back home to Hua Hin.
Thank you very much , for this informative and enlighting video , I can comfortably scratch Hua Hin off my retirement and Visitation Option list , Your Video is the 6th Video on Hua Hin , I've watched , And All of them demonstrate Hua Hin in not a walkable City or Village all the Videos Suggests that i must Add the Cost of Vehicle Transportation & Maintenance and Vehicle Insurance Cost and Not only this Major Safety Concerns with driving in Thailand, add these cost factors to My Personal Expat Health Insurance , Rent , and daily living All Equals Hua Hin is not a better Option Than Kruntep & " Jomtien in Chonburi that i have so much experience with " Hua Hin is mainly infrastructually and public transportation option wise "Under-developed "
I am not really sure what you mean, is it difficult to walk around? yes as is alot of places like Phuket for example has the same problem as is many other places in Thailand. Is it safe to ride a Bike? probably not as is most plases in Thailand apart from the outer areas. Is the Transport good? yes very good, Hua Hin has Grab, Bolt and many other transport apps and the price is very cheap, we also have Baht Buses that are extremely cheap jsu 15 Baht. Is it safe to Drive a car in Hu Hin? yes I think very safe and I do most of the time and only go out on my moped once a week. Is it a great place to live? Yes fanstatic, two major shopping centres and the beaches go on for ever. Is it cheap to live in Hua Hin? yes the property can cost 8k per month for a House or Town House. Is the food good? Yes, the food is fantastic with so many western. Thai and many other options. My Honest answer is that Hua in is a great place to retire and I would not want to leave, Hua Hin does not have issues that other places have where it could cost you alot of money for fines, housing and transport. Sorry I do not agree with some of your comments and this is Thailand, why would you want to westernise Thailand because then it wont be Thailand it would be like back home. I agree I dont like it when I am forced into the road because of people setting up businesses on the pavement or have packed their bike in the way, but that I have experienced all over Thailand. Thanks for your comment
Very good question, I would normally get a Thai friend of mine to ring them to get the information first and arrange a viewing if suitable, I have met quite a few that do speak good English so you might be in Luck. Thanks for your comment
I live quite far up 102 and I have found it to be one of the dirtiest places I have ever lived. I have lived in Thailand for over 15 years and although the country is becoming overrun with plastic, once you get off the main road, Hua Hin is not paradise. The city provides very few trash cans for all those shops you have shown. There is always(every day) many garbage bags piled around the bins and the dogs ripping through the garbage each night. It's not pretty. Move farther up the soi and the are several very large (10 meters long by 2 meters high) open dumping sites on the side on the road for anything from construction material to raw garbage. I live a the top of 102 and do a detour around that area 4 times a day because we are disgusted with the squalor. I live in a great quiet Moo Baan but from the minute I venture outside it a constant borage of plastic every where even up here in the farmland. If you don't like garbage stay near the main road in town.
Hi David, I am very confused by your comment. Plastic does not stay around for long especially in garbage areas and many people come looking for plastic every few minutes. The shops have a pickup service for plastic, glass and cardboard, I know because we have a restaurant. The garbage gets picked up every day, in the UK that’s every 2 weeks so much better here. Landfills some land owners near 102 have encouraged hardcore, top soil and wooded items. The land is mostly full now and has been spread and looks good for selling the land now. Nowhere is perfect but I except this. Why do you still live in Thailand if you hate it so much I don’t understand.
@@HuaHinwalkaboutwithDean I am not quite sure what part of my post you found confusing. I thought I was quite descriptive in regards to the filth along the road on Soi 102. Nothing has changed between then and now. I will admit that you are quite perceptive. I do hate living in such a dirty area. I live in Thailand because my wife and child are herebut fully realize that it was a mistake to relocate here permanently for me.
Yes sorry about that, some technical issues especially when I went in fpr a coffee and the microphone was not working properly. Also my phone overheated 3 times because of the time I chose to do my walks at peak hot sun time, I will try and do better
I like Hua Hin because it says "Heaven you a.." Heaven In.. because Church says... See Heaven you are See heaven and RICH says.. Are Eye See Heaven and H is Heaven because..The wholly bible is verse 1 to verse 21 as three times of s-even and when 1 to 21 is in a wheel it looks like this H with Heaven between the two ends of time.
Excellent video, Dean, Thank you so much. These videos are very useful for people who desire to relocate to Hua Hin.
Many Thanks, I will try and do more but also have to focus on other things, This channel is growing so I will have to focus more on it now. also many comments, Many thanks
Just the type of video that I've been trying to find. Would love to see more of different streets and areas. Top work 👍
Yes they will be coming a bit later, hope you can wait or send another message if you need advice. thanks for your comment
Would be good if you made a few viewing appointments so we can see property and prices rather than just walking around 😉 just a thought 😊

Very good job. This is extremely useful content wort watching. Thanks a lot!
Many thanks so glad you found the video useful, more to come, thanks again
Some great info/content - thanks. Are you planning to do any more ie 94 & 88 etc ?
Yes next stop is 94 and then 88 How did you know ? well done you must know the area. Thanks for your comment
@@HuaHinwalkaboutwithDean Visit Hua Hin regularly. Always good to see different areas for accommodation etc.
I prefer Hua Hin to Jomtien, due to the quieter beach, less traffic, not bar centric. I'll probably move there once my lease expires

Very good video Dean with good advice, thanks.
Many thanks Keith, I am glad you enjoyed it 😀🙏
If I see a place for rent and call the number, what are the chances whoever answers will speak English? It will take me years to learn Thai.
