Well I think that's what makes the Yume Nikki community so special, it's not well known and is old so that it can't exactly have a big amount of toxicity. The lower amount of knowledge about it is what makes it magical
A LOT of Japanese culture does not match western tastes, much of this game alone would have to be outright removed if you wanted to appeal to a broader player base. In fact, they already tried with YumeNikki -Dream Diary- and it was kind of a bust.
I want there to be a 10 minute cartoon of the four characters just messing around and shit with this exact style (I CANNOT for the love of god remember their names, don't even bother telling me their names, I'll forget them 2 minutes later.).
