So to sum up, Madotsuki is playing Megaman, can't beat a level, rage quits, and starts inviting her friends over to try. Both Monoko and Poniko end up rage quitting. Monoe arrives and finishes the stage. The others all leave, and Madotsuki returns to playing on her own.
And not the secom in Mars sector one and the one called PNIK and the one where one of the girls is watering what looks to be like turnips than picking them out of the ground, Or the one with the house of the dead magicians theme music (the one made 3 yrs ago with 119K views)
Not to brag (totally to brag actually) but I beat megaman 2 on difficult under 45 minutes and they've only gotten easier (if longer) as the series got on... beat megaman 9 under an hour on the first try lol As I've been playing 2d platformers since very young it took me a while before I understood why most people couldn't "just do it" :P
I dont have a clue what is Yume Nikki, I bumped into a "Its a secret" video, and i fell in love with Monoko pixel art, she is the cutest thing in the whole world, in every video she is adorable.

The characters in the video are ones you meet in different worlds (you play as Madotsuki, the pink shirted one). The things that happen in this game are entirely up to speculation, and if any of this interests you, the game is free on Steam.
Tbh screw the ending, I feel like the dev just added it to make people stop bugging him about the game. It's so out of left field and unnecessary. I don't even consider it canon tbh

The beginning sounded something from Crash bandicoot wrath of cortex for like first few minutes.
To clear any doubts, yes, the music is from Megaman, and their dance in between playing is mimicking the megaman movement (Run, slide, jump).
