Imagine if the Dracthyr had the DK class option. One of the customization options would have to be a choice to look like a frost wyrm (nothing but bones and blue energy)
I don’t see myself playing Evoker or rolling as a Dracthyr, but I appreciate that they’re built the way they are. It proves to me that the WoW engine is finally capable of mixing up the ability and traversal mechanics, and there’s a likelihood of applying those changes to other classes, like actual flying demon hunters, spell intensity ratioed to mana consumption for arcane mages and holy priests, variable AoE so a frost DK can actually do that phase transition blizzard in the LK fight like a badass and so on.
I suppose the evokers are fine enough, it's just not the class I would have preferred... I'm old-fashioned. I want the necromancer and the sapper/tinker. Old-school Warcraft classes and ones that would spark interest from established players.
Old-School Warcraft is dead. The new devs at Blizzard are actively working to erase any trace of old WC from the game and don't give a shit about established players.
things from 20+ years ago would not spark any interest. do you see any other successful mmos incorporating things from the early 00s and 90s? theres a reason for that. Build something new not reuse something old that people will stop playing when the nostalgia runs out
Necromancer is Unholy DK + Affliction Warlock and Tinker is Engineering. Blizzard isn't going to double down on this thought space when it already exists.
@@Xynth25 And Paladin is Holy Priest + Warrior, but it dosent bother any two of it gameplaywise. Also, remember how everything can be retconed, as Demon WL lost their meta to DH (And both exist no matter to it)
I like the unique class-race combo, but they need to develop a second class for Dracthyr. If you pick that class, you get the beefy body type. And its more of a melee dragonkin warrior kind of a deal , but with its own unique dragon-melee-wombo-combo abilities.
Yep, my concept was that you actually start out as a Melee/Ranged Hunter/Warrior type: And as you level-up, you can either choose to continue down that Talent Tree: Tanking or Melee/Ranged DPS. ...OR... You can spec into Magic (or Healing) as you level-up & gain new abilities.
After watching videos on the Evoker, I'm even more convinced they should revisit old classes and bring more fun and mobility to those classes. Modern WoW feels like an action rpg these days with dated tab targeting. This highly mobile, skill shotting class looks like a mage out of League of Legends.
I am a caster lover and I like dragons, so this fantasy is exactly what I'm looking for. I can't wait to fly all about, whizzing around the battlefield through the air raining death on my enemies!
I just wish the invoker could be a tank and be completely black dragon flight themed and have the spec be called warder to fit with all the earth protection themed spells and ability’s involved with the black dragons and the magma esk damaging spells. Come on blizzard I just want to finally have a chain mail wearing tank.
Doubt they will. The Drac Evokers are the newest Hero Class. We've had two already, both Melee. The first was the DK and could tank. The second is pure DPS, like Rogues. So now we have the Caster Hero Class. And since Dracthyr are bound explicitly with their Hero Class, I doubt we could see anything else. Or else, why not a Gnome Demon Hunter? You can ONLY be an elf for those. In this case, you can ONLY be an Evoker (spell caster) as a Drac.
Just remember guys that they'll be able to play other classes later down the road. Ion confirmed that it's on the cards but it doesn't match the class fantasy for the beginning of the expansion, which makes sense. Also as a caster I'm very glad to finally have a caster hero class.
Coming from a (mostly fire) mage main, Evoker dps honestly looks like main material based on the alpha footage I have seen this far. It just looks like a... more modern version of mage. Unless the mage talent tree blows me away and they do something really cool with the class, I am maining this.
Apparently there's a lot of new spells coming for mages in the talent trees so it does look like they're aware that mage needs an upgrade. As a mage main I'm looking forward to it.
Drakthyr/Evoker would've been much cooler if you could have your "visage" form be any currently available race with all currently available customization options plus more, as well as cool dragon-exclusive options like horns. Seeing Alexstrasza's new model makes me salty for what we could have had instead of these weird generic fantasy/Star Trek alien people that don't look at all like Warcraft. Then, have your dragon form be dependent on your role. If they made a tank spec, have the combat forms available be the General Drakisath variety and the bipedal Drakonid variety. A melee spec could use the Drakonid or Overlord Wyrmthalak male and female varieties. Casters could use the Overlord Wyrmthalak male and female varieties. I would also have liked the option to not use the dragon form at all and instead fight in a cool humanoid Alexstrasza-quality mortal form. Obviously they would also have drake or dragon flight forms like druids. Their other dragon forms could also function similarly to how druids can change forms. The fact that the very first day the Drakthyr were revealed, someone photoshopped the Drakthyr to be beefier the way everyone would've wanted them tells you that either no one at Blizzard is part of the actual audience for the game, or they knew people would want that and actively chose not to add it because these days the San Francisco types running the game don't like the reality of sexual dimorphism or something. As Drakthyr are now, I have no interest in playing one. Maybe I could give my Drakthyr's visage form some eyebrows, and a hairstyle that covers up the stupid ugly Star Trek alien scaly skin, but there's no getting around that I'd be forced to look at that dumb dragon form in combat, and I don't care to at all.
funny part is in drag form u wont see the armor like when druid are in cat form so I wonder why they dont make any race avaiable as humanoid forms especially when we have all sorts of races in humanoid form as dragons like chromie
Yeah I’m confused in general why they went with belves for males and humans for females - why use two different races for each gender and not let us at least pick between those two? I dislike the human female models and I would much rather be a belf :/
@@Kikkia2018 well the obvious reason is, that they'd have to create 4 different visage models, which might be a bit too much, considering how much we can already costumize the existing 2.
Evoker, gameplay wise, looks like a more engaging mage and only makes me wish mage was that exciting looking. Agree entirely with your thoughts on the class fantasy and dragons.
@@brandonkupper9508 We won’t know if this will remain the case until we got DPS data on Dracthyr and the other jobs. If it’s remotely close to Mage… Mage is over.
@@networknomad5600 Not, it's not. If Evoker is 2% behind to Mage in any spec, the mythic tryhards will just play mage instead. And then the rest of the playerbase, as sheep as they are, will play mages too because the good players are doing it. Like happened in every expansion so far. lol
@York Hunt well that is basically the point of different classes. Mele dps needs to move with the boss or in pvp with the enemy player, that is why they have more mobility. Casters are range DPS. They really don't need to move as much. They are CASTERS, that means they should be more stationary when dishing out dmg, like in classic era WoW. Hunters are not casters. Their whole playstyle is basically kiting out the enemy and entraping them.
They should really add empowered abilities to the other classes. For example, how about if you empower colossus smash it turns into warbreaker? Or empowered pyroblast becoming greater pyroblast and freeing it from being PvP-only?
I agree that this would be amazing but if they do it'll be a long time coming. A new feature like that would be like setting the balancing teams computers on fire
Evoker is clearly an experimental class. They're likely going to rework classes later on by adding these dynamic abilities to the other classes, now that they've got the systems in place it'll be less of an issue. All they need is feedback from the community.
I would 100% play this Race/class if was a warrior/dragon, this idea of Race/class was everything I wanted for the worgen, like the werewolf in ESO, but the moment I saw the model and the class I was realy, realy sad.
@@nolabets3130 yeah they put a lot of effort in this new race, what even is the point for the others lol I hope they would make all other race with equal amount customization and class with same mechanics
@@imran8880 that's my exact point look how dynamic the combat looks in this and the healing class is even crazier, lol I know people will stick to their mains because familiar but nah this is amazing, this is 100% my main all expac 😀
Lets be honest! By now we all know Blizz passed a long time ago the moment when they used to create content base on Warcraft lore, to create lore to base content on. And in such an incredible unspired and rush way
I would have loved if dracthyr could have been tanks as well, maybe combined with close combat, so we could have two caster specs and one close combat spec. I definitely want to try them out when I get to play them, but I am a bit afraid I won't like them because I don't enjoy playing other caster classes. Also I plan on making myself a bronze dragon, because time boys rock and time lost protodrake mount will forever haunt me, this is a cry for help.
Definitely need a tank spec with this class, spell based tanking with dragon scale defensives, CC flames and time lock stuns, and they already have the kiting mobility too. It'll fit well into the fantasy of... Well... Dragons.
not having a tank spec has been so far my biggest let down with this class since i've always been a tank :/ . I'm still gonna play it, just that i'll have to learn to play it as a healer because i hate doing dungeon/raids as a dps. Blizz said that future classes might have tank specs, i sure hope they were talking about future classes for the Dracthyr...
@@shmid9823 I still would have liked to have a close combat spec, doesn't matter to me if it's dps or tank. if druids and hunter can do both, why not dracthyr
well... they did say that there were already too much of melee classes... And last three classes were melee too. Diversity or something, cuz they never made new range class before. Can't say I'm satisfied with what I see but on itself it isn't a bad thing I guess. If expac will be good enough I'll try to play them for sure.
@@zenixvampirchik652 they could make a medium range tank, sounds weird but it has actually been done in the past and it worked quite well (swtor's trooper/bounty hunter and the late Wildstar's Engineer class are good examples.)
Same here, large hulking and tall male black dragon as a warrior would have been fantastic. 6:38 ...Flying looks fun though. 5:33 This sounds like a good idea BTW 7:15
Whether you love 'em or hate 'em you have to admit they have raised the bar _significantly_ on character customization in this game. I hope the other races can get the same treatment.
As per interviews and different sources, Blizzard had to completely rework the character customization code to get Dracthyr to work, but with the plans to use it as ground work for ALL races in the future.
I agree with 100% of the points you've made. Also, let's be honest, 90% of Dracthyr players won't do a badass black dragon but a drag queen. Edit : also I would have loved if Dracthyr looked like Eranog, the first datamined boss of the first Dragonflight raid. The new Evoker class is pretty lackluster imo, it looks like a mix between a mage and a chaman. I would have prefered if Dracthyr could play basic classes like other races. Imagine playing a badass Drakonid warrior or Drakonid rogue or Drakonid warlock... Instead we got discount mage drag queen.
I would had liked to see a Dracthyr hunter. I liked that class and druids. Hopefully when the game does get closer to launch they would change their minds. Maybe it's only locked like this for now so that people play as the evoker class.
1. The dragon race have a code vain problem, people were amazed at how much you could customise on the creation screen, but in reality you get fuck all freedom with creativity like in dark souls since you can't deck them out in clothing and armour. From what I've seen they can't wear anything hence why the armour you can put on them in the character creation menu. So propel will think it's cool now but will hate it when all the cool armour they unlock won't show up on their dragon form compared to Worgens. 2. Blizzard don't care about the fans or the people who supported them in the past, they only care about trying to rack in everyone from every community, this means different game Genras as well. The game will change, remove and add thing no matter if it doesn't fit, make sense or if a community that doesn't even play the game demands it, the fans will barely get anything they ask as things more catering to the generation and whatever propaganda they are having shoved down their throats demand. It's been a thing for ages with other games hens why Indie has started getting off and more attention, people don't want to play a game that changes to fit everyone, pleasing no one and is trying to cram every corporate thing in to it. People just want to find games suited to them and their community. If you still enjoy WoW thats fine I like WoW but as more and more of it panders to the wrong people and keep making stupid choices the more I see people walk away and never come back, soon me and many others that still give it a change after the 100th fuck up will bugger off and no one will be left which is fine since no game will last for ever, but what matters is how the game died.
Omg Dragon twink! That's the best description of those things. I was straight up spitting water out and tryin not to choke after hearing that! Omg I missed ya Nixxiom
08:40... Well, technically you're going in the right direction I suppose but the term is Scalies not Furries. But given how many humanoid animal creature we have already (myself being a Tauren), I've long overlooked that fact that there's furries in the game and gotten over it lol. But I do agree, the new dragon class does look over tuned, but I think like DK's and Monk's during their respective expansions, they probably will be over tuned by Blizz knowingly to help sell the new class (not that I agree with it), game balance be damned...
I liked the idea of having 2 specs selected from that list, too. It would definitely be interesting. Even as it is, I don't often see most players USING more than 2 specs at a time unless they're one of the no-lifers. I can see the issue that they'd be the only class that can't swap between specs, but it's not like we don't have a similar precedent with that. On the other hand, the code may not easily support it, so...
Problem is that its a design concept straight out of the '90s. I don't disagree it would had been neat thematically but its just not how games are built anymore.
Honestly it sounds pretty lame and lazy imo. Also bringing in 5 new specs would prob just water them down. Combining 2 aspects is cool on paper, but I foresee another covenants balancing issue with that.
as much as you might not like the class that much, it is the first new caster to have come out in the game, after like 18 years, and i would like to play a new caster since that's what i enjoy playing.
I too was wondering where the tanking spec was. Like seriously dragons have been known to be hardy to kill their scales resistant to magic or attacks. WHERE'S MY TANKING SPEC ION? GIVE IT TO ME!
Same, basically. I have literally zero interest in being a Scaley or Scalie or whatever the lizard/dragon version of furries are. Nor do i really have any interest in being a dragon mage spellcaster thing. Also the fact there's no 3rd spec option for tanking is really weird. hard pass on both dragon people and the Evoker.
I think them being evokers only with launch makes sense from a lore perspective. Be kind of cool if they can figure out a way to get other classes on them but still maintain the aspect fantasy tied to them. Instead of just slapping existing classes to them. Like different spell visuals at least. Also nothing wrong with furries. Just go to Anthrocon and see how much Pittsburgh loves em next year. :D
We gonna have a lot of fun in Arena with 3 Furry's vs 3 Furry's every single Day because you know they will be fucking Broken in PvP like every time a new Class/Race releases.
As a player who wants to stay in dracthyr’s draconic form most of the time, it’s really annoying that I get switched back to visage form every time I mount, just to stay in a blood elf visage form when I dismount. Not looking good so far. Why would I want to spend most of my time looking at a race that already exists?
People's reaction to Devastation has been pretty mid overall, but most people I've seen, myself included, LOVE Preservation. They made it feel unique and insanely fun, they nailed it with the healing spec. I was in the same boat in thinking they looked weird and wasn't planning on really touching them other than my initial try-out, but I actually like how mine turned out and Preservation is great.
As a healer, i am excited to have a new healer spec, though I must admit my main grip with Evoker and Drakthyr is the fact that you just have default armor in your dragon form as opposed to wearing gear you are wearing.
I'm so glad you're done with WoW, otherwise, we might get videos about the new expansion. But luckily you've made it clear several times that you're done with WoW and won't make any more content surrounding it.
Should of said "more like Drac Queen" for the puns. Unless you did and I just not hear well. Also, if my militaristic authoritarian furry friend has taught me any thing, the Dracthyr are scalies.
really liking the customization options, nice. But I agree, I don't really get behind the playing as a dragon vibe either. IF I come back, ill be looking forward to jumping on my Kul'Tiran!
Is it wrong to think that there should be limits to customization? Modern WoW looks like an eye sore with customization that doesn't really make any sense and not as lore accurate.. sometimes modesty is more attractive since it doesn't fill your screen with a cesspool of disharmonious characters.
@@Devin7Eleven fun is probably more important at this point, but i think you make a reasonable point and it could get to far and be like lost ark or something even wilder.
players are going to find ways to optimize all the button holding and click and drag stuff out of their rotations, a few patches in or even in the xpac after dragonflight all that stuff will get removed
Black: Tank, earth & lava, can summon and control an earth shield "passive pet" Red: Melee DPS, fire themed, consuming combo points grants buff to nearby allies Blue: Range DPS, arcane & frost Green: Healer: HoT and persisting AoE Bronze: Healer, shields & delayed healing (+ allies position rollback coded like a blink ?)
Honestly I like that idea for the specs Instead of each role like druid the specs focus on styles of magic AND it would support the whole dragon kin element of the new race
So the drag queen race can fly with their wings instead of summoning a mount, but Blizz couldn't do that for Demon Hunters in place of that stupid felbat mount... come on
I'm gonna be playing them. I really love the design. Also I'm a huge dragon nerd. Favorite part of wow always has been the dragons lore. I love the flights, I love the designs... The idea that I now as a character can partake and be a part of that lore completely? That's exciting to me.
The main character is some black woman dragon. The new blood elf character in the story, is somehow some black blood elf woman. The dragon evoker class/race looks like some SJW wet dream of a trans race. We don’t have male and female genders anymore. We have “body types” which is just two. They made King Menethil some evil huwhite male. And that’s just the woke nonsense. On the other front, instead of giving us body types, they made yet another race with a blood elf skeleton with more muscles.
I disagree about splitting this class into 5 specs, I rather having more choices per spec than going back to the spec only meta where you loose class identity. (even if we have no nostalgia playing evoker because it is fresh).
Why does it bother you what a game does when you stopped playing it 6-8 years ago... even if you consider returning why should it bother you? Just don't create a Dracthyr.
@@Pa1n1000 Why? Because I had a long look it and was not impressed, to say it lightly. That is like my opinion, man and you are entitled to have a different one. We all know that I couldn't avoid the creepy dragons, it's a multiplayer game after all. You can bet your behind that first year of dungeon runs will mostly consist of 4 creepy ones with a tank.
I think the Dracthyr actually look alright aside from their goofy, janky running animation. I would've preferred a class where you turn into a full-on (though smaller) dragon that any race could be, or that the new race had an option for a Draconid style rig but alas... at least the gameplay for them looks really fun.
1. Actionbars are getting smaller and smaller, with less abilities 2. They are including UI customization without addons 3. Overall look and feel of a mobile game Conclusion: they are preparing to introduce wow to other consoles. In the end you will be able to play wow in a mobile phone. Mark my words!
Blizzard acquired Spyro some time ago. I can't wait to have Spyro like dailies, puzzles and generally throwbacks. Would be cool if some of the Spyro races would be reimagined for mobs in WoW as well.
Some of the new stuff over the past ten years has been neat.. but it seems everyone just forgot what Warcraft is. Like most content in World of Warcraft isn't really Warcraft at all. Its just some stuff made by random people who didn't work on other Warcraft games. The people that created Warcraft are gone and no we get some randoms living out their weird fantasies using Warcraft as a canvas. Big fan of Warcraft but we've strayed too far too long ago and we only continue to get further and further from an actual Warcraft game.
@@egbert5871 with a normal xpac and normal co, I agree with you. But the % of people who have moved on due to lack of content does not make up the % that left due to company standards. Hoping for the best though!
Maybe if you started in your visage form (could as well be any of the existing races instead of a new one) and by the end of intro quest you choose red/green Evoker healer/ranged or black/blue Drakonid tank/melee specialization. From that point you can shapeshift, where Evoker can glide (wings and all) but Drakonid can make large jumps and climb with their big claws (bronze as a shared aspect between the two).
Evoker doesn't exactly suit the warcraft dragon fantasy and their spells and abilities the spells look more like a fire druid or something, rather than a mix of black and blue dragon flight, black should have devastating fire and destructive spells and blue dragons are basically a more OP arcane mages, but it just doesn't give that Vibe, I thought Demon Hunter felt much much better.
Well yeah because Demon Hunters canonically are older than WoW itself. Or at least "The wow timeframe", to put it simply. They've been established longer than some players have been alive. Whacky how long it's been, huh? It'd be a sin if the class felt off with the amount of time and pre-established knowledge they had. Plus their class fantasy is pretty clear - you're a demonically empowered elf who relies on speed and agility to beat the Demons raw brutality and power, with some of their own magics used against them to boot. Evoker is just a dragonkin mage, and that makes it confusing. What spells do they use? How do we make them different from "normal" mages? Evoker as an idea probably exists for like... a year or so at max? Maybe they've had it for a long time, but it sure looks like it's not been properly developed until last year. So no wonder it feels off. I won't be touching it. The only caster I enjoy is Warlock. Evoker looks like it's just a better mage, but who knows what it'll actually be. He has tons of CC and nice AOE and combos, which makes me fear for other damage casters. I hope they make Evoker less of a caster and more of a hybrid.
If there was 5 specs instead of two it would be really cool if the brown dragon spec could reverse the damage of an attack on you or a friendly npc/player by turning back time. The npc/player would still take the damage but then you could undo that damage. Also it would be cool if they could do something like a polymorph but instead of turning into a sheep you move backwards for something like 4 or 5 seconds. The only drawback to this ability would be that the targets skills/spells would also rewind.
Honestly wild how Blizz created probably the perfect class with the monk (super engaging, super active, can either be complete ass or a wrecking ball depending on how well you know and use all the class's tools) and then afterwards just kind of forgot that they literally figured out the exact formula to make their own combat system fun and engaging and instead decided "maybe what the combat needs is holding down buttons???"
7:14 This is, indeed, a much better idea than the status quo, I agree. The game also desperately needs to make tanking more accessible, add more options for it rather than push even more community members away from even the option of tanking when needed. And yes, the Dracthyr look repulsive.
Yes, it would make far more sense than what they've done with it. But leave it to Blizzard to take what could be a good idea...and shit all over it. I'm so glad I quit back when Cataclysm ruined the game.
I'm excited about the Dracthyr! The whole flying aspect seems really fun. And the ability to cast both AOE and Single target spells helps a lot. Very versatile.
I probably agree on the fantasy of the Dracthyr Evoker is kinda meh, and I agree they just give of the feeling of furry/scaly twinks, just making them more like the Drakonid would have been better I think. I would however probably have preferred a Dragonsworn type class were members of the younger races are blessed by the Dragons and become their champions. Mixing the Dragonflights together always had the feeling of creating a sort of abomination in the eyes of the other flights, like the chromatic dragons. So the Dracthyr feels kinda like that to me, dragon abominations. But I have to amit the class looks pretty neat so far, especially that they themselves have the budget Dragon riding mechanic. Just waiting for my Tinker and/or Necromancer class now.
@@thepurityofchaos Holy Priest and Holy Paladin exists which basically is the same thing. Necromancer with a Blood healing spec, Plague Doctor-ish dps spec and a more classic necromancer "Boneweaver" spec as I'd like to call it. The fantasy is also different enough between a Death Knight and a Necromancer I'd argue. Also many said we weren't getting Demon Hunters since Demonology Warlocks existed. I think it is possible for Necromancers to distinguish themselves enough from UH DKs for them to be a valid candidate for future class. However I think we might have missed that train with Shadowlands as that was probably our best bet for it, however I remain hopeful for the future. But I personally still prefer a Tinker class.
I'll play a Dracthyr Evoker when they get big buff physiques like the Drakonid guards at Blackrock Mountain/Wyrmrest Temple, and humanoid form options besides Blood Elf #3.
Scalie here, also expressing your dissapointment on why evokers can't be big buff herioc dragon Chad's im reallyoraying they'll add a bulky option in the finished launch
This is the exact issue I have with the Dracthyr Evoker. The gameplay looks amazing, and I've been waiting for a new healer spec to catch my eye since Legion reworked Holy Priest, reluctantly playing specs I just really wasn't enjoying to keep on playing the role. With how fun Preservation gameplay looks to be, it really sucks that it's locked to a race that I despise the appearance of, and a class fantasy that makes my eyes roll into the back of my head. I'm still going to play, and I'll probably even main it for serious content. But I definitely won't be able to immerse myself in questing.
the reason wow lore gets trashed and the game pays for it is not just the devs, the community is full of idiots now asking if dracthyr can be otherr classes...even though what makes them a dracthyr IS the fact that they are envokers..they were literally made by deathwing to be envokers and as such have all dragonflight powers. If they were to become any other class it would literally make no sense, it would be like a demon hunter being able to be a mage.maybe they can make a dragon race that are not dracthyr but as far as the actual dracthyr go it makes no sense at all to do so.
Just like with every new thing they add, it's always a test for future races/classes. Demon hunter's glide mechanic was added to the dracthyr so who knows what we'll get in the future with all the new mechanics they're releasing for the xpac. I'm actually really enjoying the game again. Not so much the evoker, but the future for blizz and the breath of fresh air of a new zone to explore.
His opinions are valid and hes coming from a good place. Played wow from wrath to wod, and a sprinkle of legion. Dragonflight made me come back and main evoker. It gave me that magical feeling of an adventure, mystery and foreign feeling that I missed so much from gaming. Also the dps in raids and dungeons was unmatched.
It's funny how people call Dracthyr "furries" yet don't include the Tauren, Worgen, Vulpera, and Pandaren in the equation 😂 sure, Worgen and Vulpera were initially called furries but people got over it. Also; these same people are constantly begging to play as Tuskarr, Naga and Arakkoa
You forgot draenei, the goat people. Which for some reason people thirst after constantly. I mean seriously, what do people want, more fucking elves instead?
@@angsfeatheredfriends Oh god that's true, the amount of Rule 34 stuff with draenei is overwhelming. To be fair, draenei are the most humanoid of the "furry" races. And yeah, haven't we got enough elves already??

Though I would love a chadthyr dragon choice, I do really like how these dragons are looking, and the class itself seems very interesting. I know I usually get bored of classes depending on their gameplay, but these really look like they add a new style to WoW
The drag queen Furry look isn't appealing to me either. But putting that aside, my concern is the class looks is that the Evoker looks like it has a MOBA playstyle rather than the traditional WoW classes.
5 specs would have been awesome. And yes, they are furries. Could have drawn them to look cool instead of drawing them to look like the furry porn they got commissioned to draw before blizzard hired them.

Out of SMITE*
I dont get what people hate so much about tab targeting. I love it.
There's nothing wrong with tab targeting. Aiming your character vaguely in the direction of a boss is not any more skillful or engaging.

That should have been shaman warden looong time ago
Doubt they will. The Drac Evokers are the newest Hero Class. We've had two already, both Melee. The first was the DK and could tank. The second is pure DPS, like Rogues. So now we have the Caster Hero Class. And since Dracthyr are bound explicitly with their Hero Class, I doubt we could see anything else. Or else, why not a Gnome Demon Hunter? You can ONLY be an elf for those. In this case, you can ONLY be an Evoker (spell caster) as a Drac.

Maybe I could give my Drakthyr's visage form some eyebrows, and a hairstyle that covers up the stupid ugly Star Trek alien scaly skin, but there's no getting around that I'd be forced to look at that dumb dragon form in combat, and I don't care to at all.
you can actually give your visage form eyebrows, depending on the scale pattern you use, so... that's at least something you (and I) wanted
funny part is in drag form u wont see the armor like when druid are in cat form so I wonder why they dont make any race avaiable as humanoid forms especially when we have all sorts of races in humanoid form as dragons like chromie

Evoker, gameplay wise, looks like a more engaging mage and only makes me wish mage was that exciting looking. Agree entirely with your thoughts on the class fantasy and dragons.

@York Hunt how the fuck are hunters casters?
They should really add empowered abilities to the other classes. For example, how about if you empower colossus smash it turns into warbreaker? Or empowered pyroblast becoming greater pyroblast and freeing it from being PvP-only?
They said they're thinking about doing that, and I agree it would be awesome. I want empowered Sunders and Crash Lightnings for my Shaman.

1. The dragon race have a code vain problem, people were amazed at how much you could customise on the creation screen, but in reality you get fuck all freedom with creativity like in dark souls since you can't deck them out in clothing and armour.

Evoker doesn't exactly suit the warcraft dragon fantasy and their spells and abilities
the spells look more like a fire druid or something, rather than a mix of black and blue dragon flight, black should have devastating fire and destructive spells and blue dragons are basically a more OP arcane mages, but it just doesn't give that Vibe, I thought Demon Hunter felt much much better.
You know if Bethesda can put breasts on lizardmen an justify it blizzard can do that too. Yet end of the day WoW turning into a furry game.
I have said it multiple times under the videos of diffrent creators. Evokers not having a black dragonflight tank spec is extremely irritating.
I'm excited about the Dracthyr! The whole flying aspect seems really fun. And the ability to cast both AOE and Single target spells helps a lot. Very versatile.
Question: why not have 2 dragon-based classes? Split the flights across two with one getting two specs and one getting 3?
Necromancer seems too close to Unholy DK.
I don't think anything is going to take me away from the Forsaken. I fell in love in late 2004 and nothing will break that LOVE!
As a gay man (who doesn’t do drag) nice one for dissing drag queens 🙃 good for you straight white male
Cope and seethe.
@@s4nder86 I am sure Nioxxom really is happy you replied with that. Good for you 👍
As one gay man to another, I'd like to say grow up pussy and stop being offended.
I'll play a Dracthyr Evoker when they get big buff physiques like the Drakonid guards at Blackrock Mountain/Wyrmrest Temple, and humanoid form options besides Blood Elf #3.
its 2022 embrace futa traps
Scalie here, also expressing your dissapointment on why evokers can't be big buff herioc dragon Chad's im reallyoraying they'll add a bulky option in the finished launch
To me, These guys are just an upgrade version of the Iskar from EverQuest.
Semms like a you problem to me
@@menalgharbwalsharq648 Hence "the issue I have with x".
It being a me problem isn't a revelation.
the reason wow lore gets trashed and the game pays for it is not just
the devs, the community is full of idiots now asking if dracthyr can be
otherr classes...even though what makes them a dracthyr IS the fact that
they are envokers..they were literally made by deathwing to be envokers
and as such have all dragonflight powers. If they were to become any
other class it would literally make no sense, it would be like a demon
hunter being able to be a mage.maybe they can make a dragon race that
are not dracthyr but as far as the actual dracthyr go it makes no sense
at all to do so.
All I wanted was a lizard man race in WoW for the better part of almost 20 years. This was the exact thing I hoped it wouldn't be.
Scalies ruined lizardmen.
Tbh the dracthyr seems pretty fun
Does it though? You weirdos pretended the last expansion was fun for ages now.
@@grilledleeks6514 nah, sl and bfa haven’t been the best or good expacs, but to be fair, neither gave us a fucking dragon to play as.
And yeah, haven't we got enough elves already??
i just dont wanna be forced to play it if i wanna play the class lol but i mean it is designed in such a way that is impossible.
That Dragthyr aka Drag Queen joke was so funny that I actually had to call my friends a tell them about it. Thanks for telling us what Dragonlands is gonna be in one simple quote!
You do know, that one of the Dracthyr designers is working for Blizzard since before Cataclysm? Extremely distasteful comment...
