that what everyone’s told me.. but they fail to put into perspective that the majority of your time doing said missions is in combat, and this game has the most unsatisfying tab targeting combat ive ever played
Swtor is always great to go back to if you havent been there in a while. The music, storylines, the voice acting, the cinematics, they are all amazing.
I agree, but I think it was a mistake to voice literally *everything*. I can't even begin to imagine how much time and money it costed, money that didn't go into bug fixing and end game content, unfortunately...
@@yourfriendlyneighborhoodsaiyan no it doesn't. What are you talking about? I think it was very well done as far as voice acting goes in comparison to most games I've seen. It's amazing to me that people can just hop online and say "It sucks" without context or explanation on such a negative critique. What do you know? Who are you? What experience or background do you have in acting? Are you just speaking subjectively? I say your comment sucks.
The main reason you leveled up so quickly, is that the system is designed to let even the most story focused players stay on curve. If you only do the main planetary storylines, and the class story and then the main missions in each DLC you can stay on the level curve and reach max level around the end of the story, so any other bit of content is just gonna speed you towards the max level
Unless you use exp boosts the curve turns on you by nar shadda and by hoth you are 2 levels behind. They give you enough cushion to enjoy exploration quests without pushing you above the planetary curve so turn on that exploration option and enjoy some of those classic quests.
Technically if you only do your class mission and ignore everything else. You end up hitting a wall at quesh (and I think this is even with all exp boosts up) You need to have a minimum level (I think 37?) to get the immunisation mission and you end up being 2-3 levels under that cap.
I remember the old days. When hitting lvl 50 was a true feat of endurance. Remember grinding Corellia? (Imagine having to.) Now you wait till dbl xp week do 3 FPs and you're 80.
Nah Bro there is still a system. If you do all Quests at the second planet (Dromund Kaas) you can chill the next planet and only do the Main Quest. The next planet is again atleast a grind with the the planet questline. Otherwise you will be behind at the end. Even with the xp Boosts
The base game is wonderful, even though I still miss the old times when it was actually a massive challenge to do your quest bosses. But god damn, EA give these people some resources to work with.
I couldn't agree more. I was disappointed to step back into the game and find out that those scary final bosses go down almost as quickly as the toughest golden star enemies of the vanilla days that you'd occasionally meet around planets used to. I remember how I used to search for the best possible gear for me and my T7 companion so I could beat my Jedi Knight's final boss after so many attempts, and the moment I did was really cool. Hell, I even remember there were a few of those tough enemies on Alderaan that gave me so much trouble trying to get my story missions done, and now everything feels like it dies so quickly. I don't hate it, since it makes my Jedi feel exactly how powerful throwing my LIGHTSABER at a dude wearing cardboard should, but I do miss the challenge.
You should treat this game more like a singleplayer RPG rather than an MMO. Yes it has pvp, flashpoints and raids. But the game shines the most when it comes to storytelling.
@@bobbythorton7693 Ranked isn’t great and only has 4v4. (Also limited to subs) Regular has 4v4, Huttball which involves carrying the ball to the enemy side, um…couple different ways to do capture the point. One where there’s attackers and defenders, one where there are two or three points randomly between a couple possible locations, one with two out of three being required to take down enemy shields, and one where any point held will work on taking down shields but two definitely does it faster (if you get a lead, I think you can win with only one. Unless that’s only in the galactic starfighter version) I could be a little off on the specifics. But they do have definitely more than 4v4 which doesn’t come up as much once you’re a little higher level.
They need to seriously work on the story then Because, other than a few vanilla class stories, the story is awful, so awful that the writers should be killed That's how bad it is
Really glad to hear you enjoy the game! I've been playing on and off since day one and have always loved it! Definitely a must for any Star Wars/old republic era fan, plus completing every class storyline is one of the most rewarding MMO experiences there is in my opinion!
Fully agree. I haven't played since 65 was cap, but at that point I had been through every class storyline. It was well worth it for that alone. Been thinking about getting back to it.
Did not expect to see you commenting on a Star Wars video, lol. Hey man, love your channel! I hope you're gonna keep covering Japanese history even when you wrap up the Sengoku era. Doesn't need to be an in depth coverage, but a series in the same vein of "setting the stage" covering the Edo and Meiji eras would be awesome to watch!
My recommendation is to play each character until you complete their storyline. Then whichever character you like the best, have that one go thru all the expansions (I really don't recommend playing thru the expansions with every character...talk about repetitive.) That character will hit 80 long before you complete all the expansions. Once you've played thru all the expansions, then you can do whatever you want. Level all characters to max (yes you can do it without playing the expansions for each.) Join a guild. Do Ops, FPs, Starfighter, the "fight tournament," try to collect all the datacrons, get different "housing" and go nutz decorating them...there is just SO much that one can do. Thanks for this video, and to anyone reading this, I hope you enjoy SWTOR! MTFBWY, A
I was in Nixxioms guild and participated in the pvp free for all you see in the clips here. It was so much fun. This game is amazing, and if it rereleased as it right now, it might actually win the mmo war right now. But people just don't want to retry it bc it "died" 10 years ago (but it didn't)
Unforunately the 7.0 update kinda ruined classes for PVP, the MoP style talent system they tried to put it in was a total failure. Some classes lost 6+ abilities. It's dumb. - used to be among the best operative PVP players on The Ebon Hawk server
@@MarineCARMINE smuggler as well, its a republic class and at some point in the story you get diplomatic immunity if i recall correctly, but you are still a criminal thats only out for his own personal profit and as a jedi, there's always the story of the jedi turning away from the light side, vader started as a jedi, dooku started as a jedi, revan turned from jedi to sith and then back to jedi and then turned neutral i dont know much about the consular story as ive only played it once 6 years ago, but the knight story also gives you a good amount of reasons to turn to the dark side yeah, yeah, we all know how the knight story ends, which doesnt fit with falling to the dark side but remember what mace windu said about form 7 lightsaber combat "I created Vaapad to answer my weakness: it channels my own darkness into a weapon of the light." - Mace Windu so using the dark side of the force is something that jedi can do
Besides just the story, the thing that really got me interested was the insane transmog and cosmetic system they have. Not only is just about every armor piece customizable in terms of stats, but you can mix and match whatever pieces you want. To top it all off, expensive pieces from years ago that you see on the GTN aren't as out-of-reach as that gold cap Swift Spectral Tiger, or Caravan Brutosaur. Farming credits is actually rather simple, the market is really popping, and you can easily afford that cool shiny piece you see within a reasonable amount of time.
I played this game for 2 years after release, then came back a few years later when they added chapters, then again a bit later on. It's always been a great game. Sure it might have had issues at launch, but it's never been a bad game at all.
I have done that and were deeply underwhelmed. Fallen Empire is terribly railroady. I don't get how Nixxiom can claim that your decisions in that expansions matter, when one of the earlier decisions you can make has the same outcome no matter what you pick - either you save a certain person, or somebody else does it for you. And unlike the pretty cool, fantasy-fitting class stories, you get shoehorned into a saviour of the galaxy plotline that you cannot in any way avoid. Thanks but no thanks.
@@alphadron4073 Not true. There are decisions you can make that definitely have an impact on the future of that toon's story. No spoilers for those that haven't played through KotFE, but you can choose to kill certain people that have pissed you off or let them live. The ending with Arcann can be played in a few different ways. The decisions don't impact any gameplay but if definitely impacts the character's story.
@Briansgate: 'Keeping up with the Valkorions' heavily scripted & simplified semi expansions. Nah, hundreds of well balanced gamers say no thanks. Take care.
When I first started playing I did so much stuff I ended up hitting max level before I finished my class' storyline. From there I just got a bunch of freebies that worked towards my end game progression. I hope this game gets more attention because it desperately needs new blood to show the developers it deserves to be kept alive.
i've been paying for my monthly sub for like 9 years now even though i've barely played in the last 2 or 3 years, simply because it's one of the first 2 games i've ever played on a pc (the other game was tf2) and i don't want the game to die i've sworn to myself that unless something really serious happens, i will be online when they eventually shut off the servers doesn't matter if it's in 3, 10 or 25 years - i will be there on the imperial fleet, on my sith juggernaut, crying manly tears of sadness as the game that started my love for video games dies
finished the story and reached lvl 80 for the first time with my main a couple of days ago and it just feels so deep, you can't help but remember about it during your day and think what would your character do next, love this game so much
Darth Baras' Sith code: Salad is a lie there is only pie, Through pie we gain calories, through calories we gain fat, with fat our belts are broken, pie shall set you free.
I'll be surprised if Asmobald reacts to this video and actually tries out the game. BTW, every origin story is different. A Jedi consular's story will be different to a Jedi Knight's story (this is the 1-50 base game). After that, the expansion story content is the same or slightly different depending on your faction.
@@NevermoreEVHBLS those kinds of big streamers don't play story-heavy games like SWTOR. They're used to acting hyperactive to entertain their brain dead audience. If they can't understand how the game works in a few minutes or hours, they'll say the game sucks. I saw Asmon do this when he tried out the Witcher 3.
I’ve been playing for 10 hours and so far it’s fun. The game has both the strengths of BioWare RPG’s and the strengths of an MMO. I thought that the mixture wouldn’t work but it does.
It's an RPG with a MMO welded to it. I played a Imperial Agent way back and I felt like I was effing James Bond, somewhere between Daniel Craig and Sean Connery, and from what I hear every class has just as well detailed stories. Maybe time to pick that lightsaber back up.
The whole game feels like a Knights of the Old Republic 3 that EA decided to turn into a multiplayer game last minute. Not that that's bad, but the game could have way more content if you just scrapped the MMO part and made it into a Single/Coop experience.
@@firstnamelastname9237 My personal favorite is the Sith Warrior, the game lets you really feel your rank as a Sith, and the Warrior story ties very well into the overarcing plot. But I need to finish my Agent...
@@Mediados Sith warrior is great. And I think better written then inquisitor…also feels like it should have been the one with inquisitor title given the storyline. Also you’re totally right, it feats fantastically into the rest of the plot. Better than most of the others. Guardian does good too but warrior just felt better. With exception if smuggler though, I think the emp storylines felt better. Inquisitor might have been wonky, but it was a heck of a lot of fun.
@@firstnamelastname9237 Smuggler and Bounty Hunter probably feel also good cause we deal a lot in the underground if Zakuul and with the Mandalorian Clans.
I still occasionally return to Swtor. I loved the story, and props to Bioware for doing it in such a way that you only really understand what's going on if you play through all 8 of the character storylines. My favorite character stories though are absolutely the Sith Warrior and the Bounty Hunter. Although the Imperial Agent is really good for those that want more espionage. The voice acting is also really top quality. And although it wasn't covered in this vide, the game may be an MMO, but Bioware made sure that you can enjoy all the content without a party, even the operations that are usually 10+ player encounters that tie into the core story can be done solo through a "Story Mode" difficulty selection.
Probably the best thing about the Imperial Agent is that story has several potential endings before you get to the expansions, but you have to make certain decisions at key points, and the decisions impact the narrative moving forward, that adds some strange replay value just to that class. Most of the other classes it's basically, you're good or your evil, some of the dialogue changes, but the outcome is pretty much the same regardless.
I think the Sith Warrior has the potential to be the most interesting character in the whole game. We play with a Jedi Knight, we know exactly what's gonna happen. The Sith Warrior meanwhile was made the Emperor's wrath, and then his destiny shifts from being the Emperor's favourite killer to being his very demise.
The one piece of advice I have for new players is leave a force class as one of the last ones to play , and use that force class to do the expansions with (Jedi knight or sith warrior story preferably). The expansions will flow better
I was thinking about playing this game, especially now after seeing this video. So I would be completely new to this game. So I just want to make sure I understand this correctly. When I make my first character, you recommend NOT to start with a Sith/Jedi class, since it makes the expansions more immersive? Darn, that was the one class I was excited to play as right off the bat. I'm a Sith Lord fan hahaha. But I guess I'm not understand how this exactly works. In other games like ESO, or LoTRO, I can have multiple character/multiple classes and races no problem. And I can switch of characters whenever I like if I begin to get a little bored of one class. Do things work slightly different here?
@@Lettuce_Play Just play whatever you like my man. No need to play a class you do not like until you reach the expansion. Play what is fun for you and just immerse yourself in the story. You can later replay it the way "its meant to be".
Exactly play what you want I just recommend using either the sith warrior or Jedi knight as they are very good stories prior to starting the expansions and doing it with them as the tech classes is kinda meh(and this comes from a die hard merc bh). The two I suggested just flow better with the kotet expansions as they each have a closer connection storybwise to the expansions. Personally I found the sage, trooper and agent storylines as kind of boring but tons of people rave about the agent so it’s all down to preference .
Hey, so... I was reading this and the subsequent comments... and I have some questions (I apologize if they might have nothing to do with the original thread): - If I buy a 30-day subscription (not the monthly one, by the way), would I be able to keep the expansions once my subscription reaches it's limit / ends? - Related to my last question, would I still be able to level up a character at, say level 75, all the way to 80? Or would the character be stuck on 75 until I subscribe again? (and in that case, would it be really hard to go through the expansions underleveled?) - How good or bad are the expansions as a smuggler? (I've seen similar comments where people recommend using a JK or SW [since both have great stories] for the expansions, because non-force users don't really fit in them [the expansions], but I'm curious about the smuggler because it was the first character I created in the game and that... I like... as odd as it may seem x'd).
i got back into swtor about a month ago and i really enjoyed it again. i could very easily see myself getting sucked in but with 3 kids i cant commit to a mmo again. its just too much of a time void but i do highly recommend playing again.
It’s really good for immersion and if you love Star Wars . The lore is rich , the class stories are incredible , and the voice acting is just ahead of every of other game out there . Unfortunately tho . . no damage meter , combat is clunky because of the engine lag after abilities , pvp is a hot mess , and endgame there just isn’t a whole lot more to do . The replayability comes from starting a new class to ply the different stories .
@@frantisekbabica824 using utility spells 'just for fun' and not because they are needed is fine for you, and not for others. if you want to roll-play as powerful, you're not going to pop a heal or mobility spell when neither a heal or movement are necessary, and knowing that you're using your damaging abilities to the best of your ability is far more desireable to others (apparently not you). so to you, no dmg meter is 'actually' a good thing, but not to me. i've been playing MMO's for 16 years and take pride in being one of the best damage dealers when i'm playing a damage dealer, best healer when i'm playing a healer, or best tank when i'm playing a tank, and utility abilities help make all of those things possible, but no damage meter makes it a guessing game to myself how well i truly did at doing the most damage i could do while also making it so that no one else KNOWS i'm great at my roll. damage meters in WoW is the only reason i lasted 16 years before quitting, gave me something to always be focused on in repetative content, top that meter! and i played every class and every class played differently in order to top the meter/heal the best+most efficient/tank the best by holding aggro and reducing damage and positioning, so no a dmg meter does not make all classes the same to use unless the design in the game already makes them all the same to use without a dmg meter...
@@dizzlebizzle8424 Yeah , also you truly feel the power of your character . You work all the time for the gear , and now you have a way to really see the progression of your player power . It’s a lot more than just “damage meter so I can be toxic” and I think that’s a misconception .
@@dizzlebizzle8424 idk what you guys are talking about because StarParse is an extremely detailed damage meter program that is very widely used and super easy to set up
Always weird seeing people still playing this and dont get me wrong its a great game, i just remember when it first came out think the placed called illum was an open winter hellscape where we'd have full on 100 v 100 battles and easily destroy pub pvp matches like slug ball while using voice chat and a premade team which made it so easy to win
Ilum didn't matter so much to me, since I could play Huttball like absolute lunatic for weeks, or some classes over and over again, since I loved storylines and sidequests, including tiresome hunts for pieces of lore on each planet.
@@FalconRS it was just crazy watching and being apart of 100 v 100 which kept crashing the server every now and again, and hut ball yeah that stuff was fun. @@Thranotheoneandonly that's cuz empire had like 75% of the playerbase......... and they all sucked balls. Empire only won through zerging. We won every match 3v8...........then they nerfed both rogue classes and put timers on it because of course the empire idiot zerg cried about it, they couldn't take the L. And it was funny because of the zerg style of Ilum, Empire was always overgeared....but still lost whenever they couldn't straight zerg everything.
I really enjoyed the story-lines and doing each of the classes. However, my main issue with SWTOR is the same as before. End Game isn't fun. At least for me.
Yeah but i really see SWTOR more as a single player story based game with multiplayer elements rather than an MMO and it was just so much more fun, i really think that the "This is gonna be the next WoW" reasoning is the wrong approach
@@TheHorreK2 I agree with you but the problem then becomes, what exactly do you do after finishing all current content plus the latest (and mostly disappointing) expansion? @Farfa: Indeed.. F'ed up decision by Eaware. Charles 'Sleeky All time ST Cosplay outfit' Boyd & his Dev minion crew was lost when did that & many other gameplay simplifying decisions.. Simplifying companions etc. :(
I love this game, and I will never forget the fun I had playing my mighty Jedi-Knight Freksaivei to max level back in 2012. The struggles 10 year old me had when first arriving on Voss underleveled and barely getting by to slaying so many creatures that the rest of the planet felt like a nice stroll in the summer. Good old times
this game has one of the best story driven campaigns ever, that alone makes it worth playing, I was one of those that laughed at this game when it was being made and I ate the dust when i succumbed to the sheer awesomeness this game offers
I'm not a big MMO guy, the time sink and gameplay loops tend to only hold me for a few days before I get bored, but playing SWTOR with some friends a few years ago, as a roving band of Sith, blasting through the story is honestly the most fun I've ever had with one. Still has some of my favorite moments in gaming period a highlight being me swearing blind that I'm super dark side, right before going in to some spirit cave and having my inner ghost be like "dude, you're a good person, we could be light side" to roaring laughter from my friends
It has to be said, while the stories are fun and I often want to make new characters to replay them, the sith warrior is a tier above the rest. Next I'd recommend bounty hunter, smuggler or inquisitor and other than that they're not so consistent but still have compelling chapters. Every class has 3 chapters of story, chapter 1 trooper is really engaging so is chapter 3 consular imo
I left WoW for swtor, life has been much better now that I don’t have to treat this like a job like I did playing WoW. I can play at my pace, do what I want, and have fun.
This video feels nostalgic for me. I quit swtor around 2020, wasn’t really the same for me after my guild disbanded. But the whole time I was away, I always had that urge to go back to swtor. It was like a calling. After looking at this and hearing all the changes, I’m definitely gonna go back to it.
I played it so much for the story and loved every second of it. Sad part is that none of my friends got hook up on the game same as me and I ended up playing alone all the time
The 8 class stories to chapter 3 has been there from the beginning. And it's always been good for the most part. After that you keep trying to kill the Emperor like 50 times. The story line keeps you on one track no matter what choice you make in the Fallen Empire. You even end up in the same spot in the Fallen Empire no matter what class you play. It looks like you have a choice but you really don't.
I came back to SWTOR in late 2021, after bailing on it early in 2012. I never finished my 1st Character (Sith Marauder). I rolled a new Marauder when I came back and I've leveled it to 80 in about 3 weeks. I'm now playing through every story that has been added since launch and I'm enjoying every moment of it. I plan on rolling a Sith Sorcerer for my next Character.
2 things I really liked about this game is you get free coins per month just with 2fa, in other games like ESO you have to be subbed to get "free" coins but here you can actually get free coins for free. I also really liked that you only needed to sub once to unlock all the expansions and once your sub expires... you can STILL play the expansions, you never need to pay again until the next expansion comes out and unlike WoW which requires you to buy each expansion here you can just unlock them by subbing once.
I just reinstalled it yesterday myself. I have to admit it's better than I remember. Stayed up way too late last night leveling my character to 25. Having a group finder makes it much easier to run group content now. I still have my founder title.
Just started to play 3 days ago SWTOR and I must say I got hooked up, exactly as you described. A fun game with a lot to do. Conversations always put a smile on my face. Definitely a lot to do in it and definitely will recommend it.
I have loved this game from day 1. I have spent endless hours enjoying the class quests, going light or darkside for each class. I particularly enjoyed the Bounty Hunter and Trooper classes (ranged dps wearing heavy armor? Yes please!). I also REALLY enjoyed the PvP battlegrounds - much more engaging and fun then WoW imo. Hutt ball anyone? My issue with it became the market and lack of players. I really wish people didn't just jump ship back to WoW so quickly - I honestly think this game could have been a number 2 highly populated game if people just stuck around longer OR Bioware delayed the release to make it more polished from the start. The fantasty is intense and it offers a similar but different experience and gameplay from WoW (did I mentioned a ranged class wearing heavy armor?). Not only that, but it offers different roles for the same kind of fantasty. For the same story/fantasy/class you can play a beast pure ranged DPS OR a rogue stealth type dps, or for another class you can choose between a Tank/dps or a Ranged dps or healer (while wearing heavy armor!). From day one even in your pleb starting clothes you look incredible. The class stories are engaging and relevent to your class AND you have some choice on what direction you want to go which dramatically changes how you engage with NPCs. You get companions that can fight alongside you and can act as healers, tanks, or dps. You also gain reputation/friendship with your companions and they have story lines you can help them with. (you can also have a relationship with them). You get your own spaceship that you can go on arcade type missions on and use to travel to the different plants. There are also other types of gameplay that WoW doesn't offer, like SPACESHIP PVP and your own housing (multiple housing on different planets) that you can customise and decorate - where you can also find and unlock other decorations to add to your houses (not my cup of tea but some might really like it). There are also Guild ships that can be customised. The SWTOR team have really put a lot of love in to this game and did everything to make it amazing. I applaud them and I am incredibly sad that it doesn't have a bigger community.
I wish they ported it to consoles like they did with Star Trek Online. I played they game on launch but swapped PC gaming for Xbox in 2018 but would love to play this game again.
After 17 years of wow I found a home in ESO, first mmo that got me playing again and caring about my character and stuff. If you re not into pvp, ESO does everything else 10000 better than wow or any other mmo ever did. At least my personal opinion.
@@MoonlightHusky I tried gw2, can t say much about game play since I haven t play it that much, but in terms of immersion, story, exploring, feels, voice acting, music, ESO is a game with so much heart and soul, I am humbled by the quality and ammount of role playing content they throw at me in this game.
@@djarinfett5871 The new progression system is way less fun to me. It's hard to explain in a youtube comment, but it's more annoying to earn new gear than it was last season, to the point that I'm not going to do it now. Convoluted. I'd recommend watching a video on how it works, since if you don't you probably won't have a clue when you play. I was stuck for hours on what to do until I watched a video.
SWTOR is that one game that kept me hooked for years. I've played many gems in the past, and some of them for multiple years, but SWTOR was one that always felt relevant and new due to all the 8(!!) story classes that you can play (haven't even done all of them after 2500 hours), the many expansions since and just playing raids and earning better gear with my guild. The tuesday nights and saturday nights where we played raids were the absolute best.
I played from launch until rise of the hutt cartel and I really just can't level through that expac. I hop on every now and then to see what's changed and play through the new story on my boosted character, but I can't level my imperial agent or trooper through there. I think it's a snore fest. Everything else story wise has been great and I think you'll like the raids a lot if they were the same quality as on launch. It's definitely worth checking out if you're a star wars fan.
For the record you can actually just straight-up skip Rise of the Hutt Cartel entirely and start Shadow of Revan directly (you don't miss much plotwise either). I forget exactly how to do it but a quick google should give you the answer, and IIRC you can actually skip ahead to literally any point in the post-base game story as long as you've finished your class story and were a sub at some point after the content you want to play was released (think it might be level-locked too but leveling is super easy these days).
I laughed when you said that there is more to do after you hit level 80. LOL I would dare say that is where the real grind begins. Especially since 7.0 was released. The work needed to do in order to max out your iRating is not for the faint of heart. Not to mention, there are a number of things that are only dropped from MM Operations. Operations are way awesome, too. The stories that go with them and how they all basically are a continuation of each other, just a work of art. One thing that you didn’t mention(probably because of time constraints, I get it) was the regular events they have going on during different times of the year. The Rakghoul event, the Pirate incursion, the Gree event… Then there are the seasonal ones like the Life Day event that is basically the SW version of Christmas. Yea, this game is essentially an entirely different game than the one that came out in 2011. It has some serious depth these days, for sure.
I'll say i've played this game since launch even when alot of people abandoned it after launch when people hit max level and there wasn't much to do even when the oceanic servers shutdown i transferred to NA and dealt with the worse ping because i loved the game. its been and absolute treat to watch people come back and revisit the game and see how much its grown and to see them habour the same passion for the game as I have found.
I just started playing SWTOR, and so far I'm loving it. I'm really impressed by how there are so many quests and they're all voice acted from what I've encountered.
SWTOR to me is like you being the main character of your favorite Science Fiction novel. I remember reading books and imagining me being the main character but in this game you are the main character, well as close as you can be. I leveled Every class probably 20 times now on different servers as well. One thing I do miss though is the old school guilds we used to have. Now days guilds kind of feel like just an experience boost for your new character. No one really cares what you do at low levels. I remember everyone helping low, especially new players do questing and just join them on their journey. Creating on the fly events like doing Flashpoints by just asking in chat if any low level wanted a run through a flashpoint. You know just little things that only took maybe an hour out of your playtime just to make a guild feel like a real guild. I think we used to care more that this game succeed. Now it feels like older players kind of gave up on trying and just want to get the highest level gear and complete their achievements for all the new content. I just started to play from scratch and decided to level a new toon just to get the feel of all the changes they had but I will do one thing once I reach level 80. I will ask in chat to see if any new players need help in questing and create on the fly events like Flashpoint runs. To me those were some of the best times because I got to watch people make mistakes and just laugh with them. I will also try out many guilds on my new server, Star Forge just to see which guild wants to be more friendly with the new players. That is the guild I will ultimately stay with.
I wish they could make a new star wars mmorpg with the same leveling core principles and amazing lore and classes but with up to date graphics and more space exploration, puzzles, hidden secrets and freedom of exploration. A next gen star wars mmo :O
awesome video and really hoping this game takes back off. It has such good bones I can absolutely see why its community believes in it so much. The combat is definitely a bit clunky but still feels super fun/responsive and most importantly satisfying when your playing well. The game really makes me feel like I'm playing as whichever class I'm on whether that be a jedi sage using force powers, my powertech with his flamethrower/other gadgets or my duel wielding jedi sentinel. The cherry ontop is that the story content is very high quality and that is something I also consider paramount to a succesfull mmo. Games like rift and wildstar could never quite keep me hooked because their worlds just felt unfamiliar and shallow (imo). This game makes the star wars universe come alive infront of you while allowing you to carve out a path in it for yourself and THAT is good game design imo.
I've Started Playing SWTOR about a month ago. Hit 80 but I'm still not done with the story. I gotta say, the Story is what keeps me engaged with the game. The combat is ok. It doesn't feel as good as WoW's combat. And the thing that made me almost stop playing a couple of times where the graphics. Especially in the Origin Stories, the graphics are awfull. But I stuck through it and got used to it a bit. I still hate them but in the later expansions they got a bit better, so that's that. Another thing that made me almost stop playing is the Cash Shop. ALMOST every cool looking cosmetic is somehow tied to it. Not to Operations, Flashpoints or Achievements. No. The Cartel Market (Cash Shop). And thank god that these cash shop items are still sellable to other players, so I don't need to spend real money to buy some flashy ingame pixals and polygons, and can instead grind credits for hours to buy the items off of players. There is no sense of achievement or accomplishment if you buy an item from the cash shop. Cash shops ruin every game they touch. I know they are necessary in F2P Games (like this one) but that doesn't change the fact that it still ruins the experience. So anyway. If you're into Story heavy games. This game is for you. If you like Star Wars, this game is for you. If you're only interested in Gameplay, go play WoW, FFXIV or ESO. If all you care about is an MMO with cool graphics, go Play Black Desert Online or (dare I say it) New World.
FF is a story heavy game too. is more like jrpg and takes his time with the story telling and is probably not for everyone but like everything has a story is it from crafting/gathering over job/role quests. Mainstory or raid storys like everything has story which get mentioned somewhere.
@Eg x freze yes but the thing with the FFXIV Story and leveling experience is, that it's all in text form. The Cutscenes are mostly very basic made with ingame emotes. At least in the early game. And that is (for me at least) way harder to enjoy. I'm not a patient reader. Playing through the SWTOR Story is much more cinematic and engaging. When starting a new MMO the early game experience is what counts. Because it takes ages to get to later expansions and the Endgame. And I didn't enjoy the FFXIV early game. I did enjoy SWTOR though, even though the graphics suck major ass and the gameplay (mainly combat system) is worse than FFXIV and WoWs.
@Eg x freze ESO is also a story heavy game. But from all MMOs I've played so far, this game (SWTOR) has the best Story. It lacks behind in many other aspects. But as longs as I haven't finished the story, I'll keep on playing.
the game was great many years ago. its only problem was the weird wow copy pasta combat. the rest was very good really. it has the best storytelling of any mmo. nowadays everything is ruined, just like every other mmo the game was good only when it came out for few years. the new update changes nothing literally. the game is on life support
This game was genuinely the first ever MMO I had ever played. I think maybe it was back in 2012-2013 but I remember how much I obsessed over it. Nowadays while it’s more off and on for me, I still remember the satisfaction I felt this year when I first beat a class storyline, becoming the emperors wrath and having a main that I adore even to this day. Even if it’s not as in depth as say, WoW in terms of content, nor as much castle sieging like in ESO, it’s just a sweet spot in my life. Thank you EA and BioWare for somehow making a game that’s good, and thank you Nixxiom for covering it.
Just installed this again over the weekend and rolled a new character, it's been fun. Doing the Trooper story which I haven't done before but playing a sniper thanks to my agent unlocks.
doing the same thing) also finally got to play as sith inquisitor storyline but with 2 lightsabers. surprisingly, inquisitor's storyline is my favourite!
The problem is that for a veteran like me there is simply not much to do in the endgame. I have replayed the stories many times and I cannot be bothered to do it again. The lack of endgame, balanced pvp (or at least a little balance), the same old bugs from the launch, crappy optimization of engine… Nah. Not gonna return. However for a newbie this can be cool experience. Just saying a vets perspective.
I've been playing SWTOR on and off since launch...the stories are fantastic. Each story changes subtlely if you play male or female and if you choose light or dark. The story really is immersive. It's nice to see streamers giving it another shot.
i played the hell out of this game reached all classes and sub classes level 70. It's amazing. I don't play it now, but i do always think of the game and will always hold it in high regard.
I got the damn box set deluxe version of this game when it first came out…and stopped playing because a glitch made it so I couldn’t get past Lieutenant Malkov or whatever his name was in like the first dungeon. But after a few years off. I ended up picking it back up every few years of so and it’s improved immensely each time.
Honestly swtor will always have a place in my heart. But I've been playing it for 10 years and sometimes I wish I could just have a totally new first time experience again with this game. If it weren't for the friends I've made on the game and raid teams I have joined I wouldn't actively be playing swtor anymore. Once you've been playing for a long time, and dealt with so many expansions to then mini expansions that give you no new content for endgame it can get rough. I've known a lot of people that have quit due to 7.0, be it all of the bugs, the class balances that make some classes unplayable in harder content, or just nothing new for us vet max level players that have to just even farm through older content we've done for a long time to gear. The class stories are certainly worth playing, but I do feel like you just hit a wall in the end.
I remember the announce trailer. I bought it launch day. Some launch issues of course and I was one of those players that left after like 6 months of straight play. Glad it got better. I'm going to give it another shot also!
Back during those days, I remember thinking to myself: why isn't there a star wars mmo? And then next thing I know, this comes out a few months later. The main thing that struck me when I first played it, was the amount of ambient immersion. The sights and sounds of the game instantly pulled me in. Then, I had experienced the all too common noob move where you never actually picked up your main class because the game does such a poor job at explaining that part. So I just ran around with my starting planet gear for hours. Then, I saw someone run by with a green dual bladed light saber and I asked in chat on khow to acquire it and I was told to go to the faction fleet and talk to my class trainer. I was so happy to be a jedi shadow. I still play this game from time to time. It's my go to whenever I am bored of wow. I also got guild wars 2 on release on amazon as a pre order and had tons of fun playing a necromancer to 80 in that.
this video was awesome! I highly enjoyed your breakdown of your adventure back into this game. I just installed it and can not wait to dive into the lore.
I played SWTOR years ago and decided to give it another try the other day because of videos like this. So far, it seems like I made the right decision. I basically agree with everything Nixxiom says here. Ofc I'm playing Sith Warrior too just like I did so many times before haha. Vette and Jaesa are too hard to pass up.
I have to say my favorite Star wars MMO without a doubt with Star wars galaxies oh my god when I started doing that I had friends from all over the world we still are friends almost 20 years ago I met French all over the world with visit their homes I just sat in the canteen and chatted with friends online went around the entire planets and galaxies just to have fun it was the best MMO hands down sandbox open Play anything you wanted to do you didn't have dark side or light side you were just in the middle of it all it was fantastic
As someone that just recovered my 2012 account, really this game changed a lot, but still is a lot of fun. Planning to get some premium time soon to unlock dlcs.
I had good memories with this game back when it came out ik the gameplay was a bit strange with the fighting system but I restarted again as Jedi shadow and it just made me cry as I remembered those late nights with friends trying to grind just to get to a level for a mere Color crystal for my saber.
I quit cold Turkey with WoW after 14yrs of playing during the final patch of WOD. My guild and I became friends and we frequent other games to this day. I’ve had an on again off again sub to SWTOR for 10yrs and it’s been my go to for a fix when I need something to play. Tanks/Healers are so rewarding to play unlike most MMO’s that mutated them. Here they are pure and difficult with very few which allows those who know their class role inside and out to stand out and even be recognized on the server like the old days of WoW. As a healer many know me on Satele Shan as Thunder and when I’m in group I’ll always get someone who knows who I am giving me that thrill I Use to have In WoW being a well known tank on my server. Smaller but indeed stronger this community is.
I tried SWTOR again when the force unleashed was about to happen and had the same experience as you. Sadly for me Disney killed Star Wars, which I used to love, so SWTOR just has a bitter taste for me. If that hadn't happened, I would for sure be playing it actively. SWTOR has criminally underrated pvp, I've rarely had an mmo where you log in, queue for a battleground and just have fun no matter what with very little frustration.
I was just recently thinking about what this game does better than wow, and there's a bunch. You get access to all of its content without having to pay a monthly fee after just one month of membership. The gear up system is light years ahead of wow and transmog. I love the fact that you can buy inventory spaces with kredits that you obtain while leveling. The ambience is amazing because of its sound design. I love that they let you resize the ui and move windows around without getting add ons. I love the legacy system. I love not having to read quest dialogue as it's all voice acted by npcs which have different personalities. Player housing is well received by the community. The free to play restrictions have been recently lifted even more. Free players get a cap of 1m kredits which is enough to buy loads of cool mounts and transmog gear. I love the companions which you can choose the role of. I like mine as healers. You can romance and customize their appearance as well as your own. The combat does feel stiff and janky though and the game is kept alive strictly by micro transactions. They were also the first to do level scaling correctly which some like and others don't. I think it's great as it keeps game play from being boring and still rewards me gear that is actually an upgrade for my character stats wise. I also love being able to take on weeklies from terminals and go at them alone for some kredit farming.
it wasnt bad when it came out. cept ea runs it and the servers died before i could reach max lvl. i honestly just remember huttball. it ws pretty fun at least.
Swtor will always have a special place in my hearts archive, but sadly it I had to leave and nvr went back. Glad your enjoying it, but this Inquisitor will not be back.. May the Force be with you all!!
It's worth playing just for the storyline of each class
Yeah and really only the 1-50 class stories. The expansions other than maybe the revan one are all pretty bad.
True
Oh I did that. Then I took a break and returned after a year and all of my characters had to be renamed, did not like that :(
@Cthulhu I definitely disagree. I love it
that what everyone’s told me.. but they fail to put into perspective that the majority of your time doing said missions is in combat, and this game has the most unsatisfying tab targeting combat ive ever played
Swtor is always great to go back to if you havent been there in a while. The music, storylines, the voice acting, the cinematics, they are all amazing.
Yeah, legacy stuff. New expansions are hot garbage.
I agree, but I think it was a mistake to voice literally *everything*. I can't even begin to imagine how much time and money it costed, money that didn't go into bug fixing and end game content, unfortunately...
The voice acting sucks In swtor
@@yourfriendlyneighborhoodsaiyan no it doesn't. What are you talking about? I think it was very well done as far as voice acting goes in comparison to most games I've seen. It's amazing to me that people can just hop online and say "It sucks" without context or explanation on such a negative critique. What do you know? Who are you? What experience or background do you have in acting? Are you just speaking subjectively? I say your comment sucks.
How do you play this game
My dad showed me swtor around 2013.. we played on and off for years. This game will always hold a special place in my heart.
That is awesome. I Wish I could find family who want to play the game with me. Alas I am alone.
u make me feel like im 100yo stop
@@Alkamatus Doing a few sidequests before starting your class story is an easy loophole.
I remember the old days. When hitting lvl 50 was a true feat of endurance. Remember grinding Corellia? (Imagine having to.)
Now you wait till dbl xp week do 3 FPs and you're 80.
I don't hate it, since it makes my Jedi feel exactly how powerful throwing my LIGHTSABER at a dude wearing cardboard should, but I do miss the challenge.
and that is why EA is the most hated company on the planet they ruin games and franchises there nothing more money hungry then EA
@@jonathanalexander9881 Well go try the nim (master mode) ops and flashpoints and I ll wait to tell me about the "missing the challenge" thing 😆
@@SkareEk Totally different thing so not comparable to open world adventures as it's instanced etc. Take care.
You should treat this game more like a singleplayer RPG rather than an MMO. Yes it has pvp, flashpoints and raids. But the game shines the most when it comes to storytelling.
Agreed.
i honestly wish hey would release it as that.
is there any large pvp when i played there was just the regular matchups mostly the 4v4s
@@bobbythorton7693 Ranked isn’t great and only has 4v4. (Also limited to subs)
Regular has 4v4, Huttball which involves carrying the ball to the enemy side, um…couple different ways to do capture the point. One where there’s attackers and defenders, one where there are two or three points randomly between a couple possible locations, one with two out of three being required to take down enemy shields, and one where any point held will work on taking down shields but two definitely does it faster (if you get a lead, I think you can win with only one. Unless that’s only in the galactic starfighter version)
I could be a little off on the specifics. But they do have definitely more than 4v4 which doesn’t come up as much once you’re a little higher level.
They need to seriously work on the story then
Because, other than a few vanilla class stories, the story is awful, so awful that the writers should be killed
That's how bad it is
Really glad to hear you enjoy the game!
@@theazureknight9399 Thanks for the support man! Star Wars is my other love besides Samurai History!
@@TheShogunate Can say the same as The Azure Knight, keep up the great Sengoku jidai content man ^^
@@TheShogunate and he just got you another sub! Looking forward to your videos 🌊
We gotta do more events! Once I hit 70 on my Paladin for WotLK, I'll dive back into SWTOR and LOTRO more again. :)
Unforunately the 7.0 update kinda ruined classes for PVP, the MoP style talent system they tried to put it in was a total failure. Some classes lost 6+ abilities. It's dumb.
- used to be among the best operative PVP players on The Ebon Hawk server
If you get bored try playing a dark side trooper, war crimes have never been more fun
I'm doing this right now. My trooper is gonna bang lana lol. Trooper is the only republic class that makes either light or dark side make sense.
@@MarineCARMINE smuggler as well, its a republic class and at some point in the story you get diplomatic immunity if i recall correctly, but you are still a criminal thats only out for his own personal profit
and as a jedi, there's always the story of the jedi turning away from the light side, vader started as a jedi, dooku started as a jedi, revan turned from jedi to sith and then back to jedi and then turned neutral
i dont know much about the consular story as ive only played it once 6 years ago, but the knight story also gives you a good amount of reasons to turn to the dark side
yeah, yeah, we all know how the knight story ends, which doesnt fit with falling to the dark side
but remember what mace windu said about form 7 lightsaber combat "I created Vaapad to answer my weakness: it channels my own darkness into a weapon of the light." - Mace Windu
so using the dark side of the force is something that jedi can do

SWTOR has and always will be worth playing, if you have not played the story. I wish I could forget everything I know.
If anyone hasnt played through Fallen Empire and Eternal Throne, you really need to experience those expansions!
@joey lucas My buddy did it out of order can confirm it will lock you out.
Agreed, they are so well written and animated.
@Briansgate: 'Keeping up with the Valkorions' heavily scripted & simplified semi expansions. Nah, hundreds of well balanced gamers say no thanks. Take care.
No matter what anyone says my heart will always belong to this game. Playing since day one.
When I first started playing I did so much stuff I ended up hitting max level before I finished my class' storyline. From there I just got a bunch of freebies that worked towards my end game progression. I hope this game gets more attention because it desperately needs new blood to show the developers it deserves to be kept alive.
Agreed, I take breaks but I always come back. It deservers to keep going. It's in the top 3 best mmos imo.
i've been paying for my monthly sub for like 9 years now even though i've barely played in the last 2 or 3 years, simply because it's one of the first 2 games i've ever played on a pc (the other game was tf2) and i don't want the game to die
i've sworn to myself that unless something really serious happens, i will be online when they eventually shut off the servers

I'll be surprised if Asmobald reacts to this video and actually tries out the game. BTW, every origin story is different. @Nick Fleet chat is always politics late at night every time I log on lol.
I personally think Agent is the most well written but I do love all of them considerably.
@@BlackDevilLeague Ahh understand. Yes thank you for that.
Hey, so... I was reading this and the subsequent comments... and I have some questions (I apologize if they might have nothing to do with the original thread):
- If I buy a 30-day subscription (not the monthly one, by the way), would I be able to keep the expansions once my subscription reaches it's limit / ends?
- Related to my last question, would I still be able to level up a character at, say level 75, all the way to 80? Or would the character be stuck on 75 until I subscribe again? (and in that case, would it be really hard to go through the expansions underleveled?)
- How good or bad are the expansions as a smuggler? (I've seen similar comments where people recommend using a JK or SW [since both have great stories] for the expansions, because non-force users don't really fit in them [the expansions], but I'm curious about the smuggler because it was the first character I created in the game and that... I like... as odd as it may seem x'd).
i got back into swtor about a month ago and i really enjoyed it again. i could very easily see myself getting sucked in but with 3 kids i cant commit to a mmo again. its just too much of a time void but i do highly recommend playing again.
oh that was cute that they came n visited yur stream chat, always cool to see devs interact with the community
Agree 100%
no dmg meter is actually good thing..it makes a point of: why using utility spells. Makes all classes to same use
If you can carry a group , it feels rewarding . You can change specs and play with abilities and see any differences .
I think it is an inquisitor but we had one wait for us near the goal and have someone jump into the pit below with the ball having everyone following them and just force pull them out of the pit and score
@@Thranotheoneandonly that's cuz empire had like 75% of the playerbase......... and they all sucked balls. Empire only won through zerging.
My brother and I played dual smuggler and my friend played vanguard and so when the vanguard would harpoon scorpion-style get-over-here, we would double backblast the helpless victim and turn back invisible before anyone else could react.
@@GreenBeanGreenBean You really like the word "zerg"
yeah 2fps on illum was great
I really enjoyed the story-lines and doing each of the classes.
If you’ve done all the FPs, the ops, if the cycle of event weeks is becoming so repetitive that you can literally go through the dailies without looking at the map once, if there’s no more story in a story driven game, wtf can you even do anymore? I love swtor I really do, but endgame sux man
@@MIAsuxdonkey then i guess its time to play another game for a while
@@MIAsuxdonkey if theres nothing to do anymore you move on? You have no obligation to grind daileys, i simply play through the campaign, maybe do some group stuff and move on if i get bored. Go play something else till the next patch, i do the same and that way i avoid the boring crap
Get good because some raids are atrocious in that game, join a guild and get better, typical US players, too hard = no content
If i lived in US or EU i would love to play this game, but for a person who lives in Brazil, the support team is the worst possible
I just went back to SWTOR after such a long time, and it's been great! It's like reconnecting with an old friend.
The graphics haven't been updated at all, they just look better because after 10 years your CPU can finally brute force the higher graphic settings at playable framerates.
Yeah, there was a point when they made leveling take way less time so if you do things besides the story you overlevel the story really fast lol
Imperial agent?
@@2Namii Imperial agent first chapter is definitely high on there, I can't remember much after that tbh
How was it
Pleasantly surprised to hear this, I'm gonna check the game out :)
I played it so much for the story and loved every second of it. Sad part is that none of my friends got hook up on the game same as me and I ended up playing alone all the time
I just joined the Barq’s guild. Thanks for showing this game the love it deserves!
Welcome aboard!
@@NixxiomOnUA-cam thanks dude been playing Swtor since launch (on and off), and I still love it. Glad you’re having a good time with it
The 8 class stories to chapter 3 has been there from the beginning.
9'800 cartel coints for doing the achievements on all 5 servers.
This game and WildStar had so much more potential.
Shame how things go sometimes.
That could be true if only wow wasnt a thing
I just reinstalled it yesterday myself. I have to admit it's better than I remember. Stayed up way too late last night leveling my character to 25. Having a group finder makes it much easier to run group content now. I still have my founder title.
It's so much fun, I always lose track of time when I'm playing lol.
@@MarineCARMINE same, leveling a smuggler now 🤪
Just started to play 3 days ago SWTOR and I must say I got hooked up, exactly as you described.
How do you think it compare to gw2?
@@MoonlightHusky I tried gw2, can t say much about game play since I haven t play it that much, but in terms of immersion, story, exploring, feels, voice acting, music, ESO is a game with so much heart and soul, I am humbled by the quality and ammount of role playing content they throw at me in this game.
I’ve started playing a week ago and haven’t played another. I’m absolutely loving the story.
I adore the class stories of SWOTOR. I love the lore of the game and having lore/headcannon behind my character makes the game so much more fun
"but the game really picked up when {Most of the Community think the game Ruined Itself}" may be the hottest take in this video
Been playing since 2012; Glad to see how good this game is getting some much deserved attention. Newest expansion is pretty mid tho
What makes the new expansion mids? Legit question, I’m thinking about jumping back in next month after a 1 year hiatus.
Rise of the Hutt Cartel is easily the worst expansion
For the record you can actually just straight-up skip Rise of the Hutt Cartel entirely and start Shadow of Revan directly (you don't miss much plotwise either). I forget exactly how to do it but a quick google should give you the answer, and IIRC you can actually skip ahead to literally any point in the post-base game story as long as you've finished your class story and were a sub at some point after the content you want to play was released (think it might be level-locked too but leveling is super easy these days).
@@albstare yeah, you can literally just avoid RotHC and start Shadow of Revan.
I liked the story I played so far
I'll say i've played this game since launch even when alot of people abandoned it after launch when people hit max level and there wasn't much to do even when the oceanic servers shutdown i transferred to NA and dealt with the worse ping because i loved the game. its been and absolute treat to watch people come back and revisit the game and see how much its grown and to see them habour the same passion for the game as I have found.
hot take: Sith warrior's got the best story in the game bar none!
Sith Warrior is great, but Imperial Agent will always be my favorite story.
@@lordfrostwind3151 hell yeah that story was TIGHT. without agents like you the empire would have fallen already!
Jaesa is best girl
Also inquisitor is quite awesome, i just love zapping everyone ❤️
I just started playing SWTOR, and so far I'm loving it. I'm really impressed by how there are so many quests and they're all voice acted from what I've encountered.
the voice acting and story are by far the best parts of the game, and better than most mmos. not quite kotor 1/2, but still really good for a game.
100% worth a playthrough even if its only for the class stories they are amazing.
And better combat...
@@mathieudallaire7316 I mean, combat animations and fluidity, yes ! But I think abilities and general core gameplay was working just fine.
Nixxiom, can I just say I loved your super old "what if" videos! PLEASE make some more!
Knights of the Eternal Throne and Knights of the Fallen Empire has prolly been one of the best story arcs I've ever experienced in an mmo
I disagree 100% xD
awesome video and really hoping this game takes back off.
Just watched Obi-Wan...never been more excited to login!
one of best games ever
I just came back to a level 25 sorcerer I made a year or two ago. Loving the story so much and I wish I had played earlier tbh
the game was great many years ago. its only problem was the weird wow copy pasta combat. the rest was very good really. it has the best storytelling of any mmo. nowadays everything is ruined, just like every other mmo the game was good only when it came out for few years. the new update changes nothing literally. the game is on life support
Your room full of Red Bulls looks exactly like mine
Just installed this again over the weekend and rolled a new character, it's been fun. Doing the Trooper story which I haven't done before but playing a sniper thanks to my agent unlocks.
doing the same thing)
also finally got to play as sith inquisitor storyline but with 2 lightsabers. surprisingly, inquisitor's storyline is my favourite!
The problem is that for a veteran like me there is simply not much to do in the endgame.
I have replayed the stories many times and I cannot be bothered to do it again.
The lack of endgame, balanced pvp (or at least a little balance), the same old bugs from the launch, crappy optimization of engine…
Nah. Not gonna return. However for a newbie this can be cool experience. Just saying a vets perspective.
Gave it a try pre-COVID, hated it. Might have to give it a go now! Thanks, Nix!
If you pick up this game now after not playing for years it’s incredible. If you never stopped like me you’re in year 3 waiting for a new raid.
I know people keep saying this game was expensive to "make", but the reality is that most of it's 300m budget went to marketing.
Yo bro, your masterful usage of prequel scenes as memes is legendary. This shit lit.
Great Video Nixx... :) fun to watch, makes me wanna try the game again.
Great video and the banter you use is brilliant
As someone that just recovered my 2012 account, really this game changed a lot, but still is a lot of fun. Planning to get some premium time soon to unlock dlcs.
Wish they made this game on a new engine, so PVP wasn't so laggy... But love me some SWTOR and anything Star Wars!
