not a lot of wholesalers like people coming in and doing videos. usually its the breeders who hide stuff either due to breeding new breeds/mix or those that treating everything like breeder fish. others might not like it due to it being cramped and busy.
Loved the way you and Robert were working together while you were in teaching mode. Teachers like you, Cory were always the ones I responded to the best. Love the Aquarium Co-op atmosphere of fun and respect combined with passion and hard work. Awesome 👍🏾😊
Thank you Cory for everything you are doing for the hobby! You're a wealth of knowledge and an inspiration for constant self-improvement. I love what you do and will continue supporting your business.
I second @Shiskey and say I love these Wholesale tours. It really shows a lot of the "Processing" system of the fish industry. So good to see and learn. Thank you for this video. I would love to see more content like this -- content is right in line with the Fish Farm tours.
I am one handed (I had a stroke when I was four); tying fish bags is my bane. I have been thinking for years I would like to find a machine that could put a band around a bag for me. Glad you showed it. Do you know what they are called. I would like to have one for my fish store, when I open it.
Thank you thank you thank you! I just purchased four fish I have been searching for forever! Nobody had them or they where way too expensive! Can't wait to get them!
Just made my first purchase from aqua huna. Bought some bolivian rams. Thank you aquarium co-op! Their shipping prices was the game changer for me. So affordable!!
Hi Cory when I would buy Koi it was either Domestic Koi which your calling Pond Koi! And Japanese Koi where all your color patterns matter Kohaku,Sanke,Showa which are what you have in your pond at home,I know you know that I thought I'd share they way we clarified them in the 90's. ✌🌿
Walmart is the only one though. Meijer here has them as well. And I trust the quality of the fish just as much as walmart. I think the walmart by me still has fish in their tanks, but didn't look closely to see.
Hey Cory, just so you know, "black dragon" is the right term for these bettas. Black dragons have a white dragonscale body with black fins. If the whole body is white, unlike most black dragons that have some black scales on them, it's called a "full mask". There are also red and gold dragons. They are basically the same just with different fin colors. I wrote this because you seemed confused that a mostly white fish is called black dragon.
Not confused, I just think the trade names are dumb. Why not call a blue fish a black dragon then if it has some black extensions on its crown tail etc. I’m just irritated that the naming structures of fish is what will sell on a wholesale list and not what is actually represented on a fish. But hey money talks.
I had purchased 10 chili rasboras from here (shipped to MN). 2 were dead on arrival for which they promptly reimbursed. Most, if not all of the rest seemed sick and I had sent pictures and aquahuna said the fish were probably stressed from shipping but this was 2 days after I received. Within the next few days all but 1 died. I let them know and they did nothing and I didn't really press. This was my first time and I simply decided it was my last. They are no aquarium co-op for sure. I believed it could be that chili rasboras might not be easy to ship. But I tried again from a different well known online store and have had these fish for months...not a single one perished. They are still doing great. So, maybe aquahuna had a bad batch or that shipment was just bad luck but the response to that was lacking.
I used to go to one of these places below SF in the city of Belmont. A giant warehouse with rows and rows of tanks stacked on top of each other with multiple sizes of all fish both fresh and salt water. We'd mostly get cichlids and other rare fish. They had sturgeon and snakeheads and red tail barracuda. This was the late 90's when alot of the predatory fish weren't illegal like they are now. We'd also buy hundreds of feeders for our fish. Lots of live rock and even lionfish. My fav tank had peacock bass, green terror, jack dempsey, snakehead, and red tail barracuda. they all had their territory.
Lol Cory... Okay you pick out the bettas. Also Cory look at this one this ones cool put that one over there! Lol. He had a hard time letting the other guy pick the Bettas!!! 😆 i cant say i blame him. I use to love to go around and find the rarest looking Bettas i could find. I had some pretty sweet ones at one point-!!
You’ve never seen albino Buenos Aires tetras??? I’m surprised. Buenos aires are top 5 tetra dithers for cichlids in my books. Look amazing when full grown
So they a whole rack is connected to a big sump, where healthy guppies share water with sick/dying ones? Or they disconnect the dying guppy from the system? Thanks Cory.
@@AquariumCoop Interesting, should we do the same in our "garage farms", or just separating them at this stage will not help since water is already contaminated? I guess it would be best to quarantine new fish when possible, but if there is sick fish in the system there is no point to remove it? Thanks for the reply, I know you get massive activity in the comments, appreciate everything you do!
Those rams looked awesome. Thanks Mr. Corey for all the help and knowledge you all share with us hobbyists. Could you help with some stocking tips for a 40 gal hex tank a d maybe some good plants for it also?
Crazy. went to a chain store tonight to grab some media and walked the tanks. saw at least 15+ of the exact same fish undoubtedly from this guy. I've got HB red guppies but noticed these HB gold body reds there and it took me a few min to walk away. Poor quality control but really interesting genes.
Hey Cory if you don't want to remind people to subscribe and like videos gamers us a little pop up animation to remind people. Maybe you could do something with the new murphy icon you got. 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Well this video was dangerous... I just ordered $120 of fish with only $12.99 shipping? With a live guarantee? Craziness! Do you have any idea where I may be about to source orange rice fish? I'm in Wilmington Delaware but can't even seem to be able to find them online anywhere...
Hi cory I have a Question Following your step on QT do you have to treat them again general cure for the eggs and if so how long after the first treatment Thanks John
I work at a Petco in the greater Chicago aria, I would like to know if he has applied to sell to Petco’s, I have a feeling he would be a better vendor then what we have now
In my Walmart in north Platte Nebraska there were only 3 fish left and they were on sale which they never put fish on sale even if they have 1 fish left
Unfortunately not, as our quarantine would change prices etc. Plus remember you'd be ordering from a wholesaler vs a retail store. They are very different products. Think of it like buying the ingredients at a grocery store vs going to a restaurant. As a store we'd be the restaurant.
Hey i know my comment is not related to this video but, could you make a food review on the bug bites (for small fish) as some people say that it sinks too fast and some say its a really good food Honestly im really confused if i should buy this food or not😐 Thx for replying😁
I rotate them for my bettas and they are okay; I rotate between bloodworms, beef heart flakes, cobalt, hikari betta bio gold, and the bug bites. My bettas have enjoyed them. About 1/5 would sink right away, then the rest sink eventually; I am dropping them from about 6 inches. They spread out as more of them land in the water. If I could only choose one type of food though, I'd go with Hikari betta bio gold. This is solely because that food has been good for me for a very long time.
🐟 Buy fish at geni.us/LiveFish from our preferred online retailers with the code aquariumcoop to save 5%
They don’t ship to Washington!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@grantbelleque1494 I just found out too.

Enjoyed seeing Robert and Cory in a video together kind of a change up. Hope you settled well Jimmy look forward to some interesting videos!!!
Swhiskey miss you Jimmy. You brought a youthful joy to the Co-op. Please never leave the Co-op. You’re chemistry is beautiful.
I love me so bettas. Glad the Co OP is finally selling bettas for everyone to enjoy

Neat! Though I was kinda horrified at the prospect of a tipped tray of bettas...
Training Robert (and the rest of us) on buying wholesale - FUN!

Finally a place for all the people that complain that aquarium coop doesn’t sell fish online 😂
Brandon Edinger nope, the kg in kg tropicals is king George and mine is my name kevin green.
I bought my red rili and chocolate brown shrimp from them. They were great fast shipping and they respond to your messages.

Really cool to see cory teaching Robert the nuances of picking out from the wholesaler from his experience. Very nice!
"250!?!?"😲
I love that reaction. Wish I had room and time for just 5 bettas, haha.
Awesome video. I love too see the whole sealers. I worked for 3 years at my local wholesaler. It was an amazing experience.
this is why i love this channel, i get to see a side of the hobby that otherwise i would never see. thank you, from across the pond
Wow that’s so cool to see behind the scenes like that , thanks Cory
These videos are my favourite great to see how business is done
Love seeing these behind the scenes vids of the aquarium business. Cheers Cory and crew.🤘

Glad to see Walmart stopping their live fish sales. My local store here in north Georgia just tore down their fish display the week before last.
Oh, that's why the tanks at my Walmart were empty then. Was kinda wondering.

Very cool they have acrylic tanks 👍 I build one once, I prefer acrylic tanks

woah! AquaHuna's prices are so good and the shipping is incredibly low....
Blue diamond is an old line. I remember it from early 2000s.
Good lookin out! Thanks Cory!
Awesome video as usual!
This is great stuff to see. Thanks Cory.
Really wish y'all sold fish online, but I guess this is the next best thing
I LOVE butterfly koi! This was great!
I kept thinking Robert was going to knock over all those Bettas. Thanks for another great video.
I hope he finds a market for the fish that where going to Walmart. Cheers for the tour boys very interesting good job

I so love all this 🐟🐠🐟🐠👍

Very interesting video.nice to see what happens to fish before you get them.
This was super cool, and fun to watch. That woulda been fun to pick out all those Bettas Robert.....
Hi cory I love this video. I love video like this you could learn a lot from these videos.
Great video. Seems like they’re medicating a lot too. If I order direct, I still should do the one week quarantine thing right?
Always quarantine and more then a week, more like a month if I were you.
nice video thanks for sharing im going to check it out now
It's about time Robert got to go on field trips.
Picking bettas and 36 is your limit... that a dream job

Do u think that a sailfin molly pond would be a fun project in the fishroom
Great video. Thank you!
How does one order from whole salers really love the fish my dad did before he past I love angles molly's Shrks guppies are myfavorate
Thanks you making this video
Just made my 1st purchase from Aquahuna. Nice healthy Blue German Rams 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Do these guys ship to Vancouver, British Columbia,Canada?
Awesomeness video
Could u next time do a video on their filtration system how it comes out the individual tanks and return to it.
Thx for sharing

Question why are male and female guppy sold separately but other Livebearers aren't
Which fish are the dojo's being fed to mostly? And why are they feeder fish? Seems specific for a feeder fish. Interesting tho
I would absolutely love to be able to work with fish and shrimp everyday...

Hi cory I have a Question
Following your step on QT do you have to treat them again general cure for the eggs and if so how long after the first treatment
Thanks John
Usually follow up 2-4 weeks later with the second treatment.
I'd love to see more wild bettas. We need them in the states
Another great vid! Thanks so much for the channel inspiration! Hope to be like you one day
I am a graduate of Cory's online fish store manager program
You could place a wholesale order for Bettas from over seas. You would get excellent variety!
We already do that.
Very interesting video, please 🙏🏼can you do more of this type of video 🐠🐌🦐🐟
Very nice.
Are you going to do a follow up idea of what you came back to the store with? Which Bettas made the co-op cut?
There won’t be a follow up to this from that day.
Nice video and the prices from the whole seller seem really good with only $13 shipping
Oooof that ship to Washington what!!!!!!!
Would be nice if there were any places like this that ship to the UK. Transshipping is a pain, probably easier to post myself stock back.

What kind of Rams were those at 2:45? They're so cute 😍
Brittany Caron I think those are ballon German blue rams
ive noticed that the clown pleco has multiple L names two of which are L-104 and L-103, is there any difference between the two?
Pretty much every fish store I go into (UK) sells Red Tailed Shark. They're the darling of the planted tank as far as I'm concerned lol
Heck yas, They sell the fish i cant find locally for a price i can actually afford!!! Time to prep another tank....
This Asian guy is Chris father, from Fishforthought channel lol
Might order from them for my new tank!
I'm so glad Walmart is stopping selling fish. Their tanks were always horrible looking.
24 hours of light.
They never sleep
Good video 👍😄
Hello Cory
This is Shannon , me and Robert from Sick Wid It Cichlids would like to come by and shop and visit where you located
How come they are in NW but wont ship to Washington?
Great fish great video but man the water color would be impossible for me haha
Would it be possible to use this as a base and have you guys order it to the shop? Seeing as I live here in WA.

Turn your air down so you have very little water movement and the bug bites will float for awhile.
My betta loves them
Teaching him the ropes eh? Nice!
yep, if there was only some ropefish. Then I could have really taught him ;P
@@AquariumCoop HA! I see what you did there lol
Are the bettas grown out in cups that small?
I got a neon tetra with cottonmouth is it contagious is it deadly sos help

Johnny Salaza whats this place called/website?
Nice setup.... please make video on "mass oxygen system " please
3:37 One of these days, I'm going to do a big tank of just small tetras and/or rasboras.
