My Kona N pops and backfires but I recently went to a high flow catted dp and resonatorless mid pipe and while it’s still on the stock muffler, it’s crazy loud. I thought I saw drag race numbers on the window so I’m curious as to how it does in the 1/4. My best time on stock tune and street tires is 13.36 at 106mph.
@@larrysilverman2099 I went big turbo, bnr 3071 to be exact. All supporting mods except upgraded fuel. I ran a 12.1 at 117. Could’ve been an 11 but I had a really shitty reaction time
stock turbo st isn't making over 300 hp with just an exhaust, full bolt on and a 93 tune you'll be lucky to hit 280 with tock turbo, need full bolt ons and an e30 tune to get MAYBE get 300, not going over 300 unless you get bigger turbo or nitrous
e30 tune, intake, intercooler, and exhaust will get you 300+ depending how aggressively you tune it. Don’t know where you got this info from. You dyno these cars? clearly not.
what would you recommend for a 95 probe gt 24v v6, Old exhaust was rusted out so I had it straight piped with a muffler and new tip but its crazy loud on the highway. I like how it sounds when i get on it but its obnoxious at low rpms when I'm not going anywhere
They all sounded really good. Except the straight pipe. But it wouldn't be exhaust addicts without at least one guy not caring out it sounds n just wanting it as loud as possible. Some cars sound pretty good with straight pipe but this is not one of them

Went all the way from Wisconsin lol. Garcias muffler on lawrence ave in Chicago is the best in the area. Trust me.
So from best to worst. That last one sounds like a fart can. First one sounds beautiful.

Bud, go find the article where they tested aftermarket parts for the focus st and made 350 wheel with only bolt ons. Im pretty sure it was motortrend

last one needs to go to 3 inch all the way back, mines a full 3 inch turbo back straight pipe and it sounds insane
I’m going to go to a hood dump soon, so I didn’t feel the need to spend all the money on going to a 3” system at the time

Straight pipe sounds like trash. Best setup for an ST is a catless downpipe with a Cobb full 3 inch system.
