Because of that, i have a Galaxy Smarttag on my key. I can recommend using this kind of Tags. It can prevent losing the key through an alert via your Phone (Depends on if you can hear that wile Riding), but if you lose it, you have a way better chance to get your keys back. Could have helped a lot in this situation.
So glad I don’t have keyless ignition. Might get a sticky label and write ‘don’t forget your key` and stick it on Scott’s dash 😅 Great vid Dave and well done for braving the roads.
Haha yea you’re very lucky. Impossible for you to ride off without it. That’s a great idea about a sticky label. Maybe superglue it to the inside of his visor so he doesn’t miss it 😭 and mine 😂
Agree. Keyless on a bike is a great feature but when it goes wrong it’s the worst. They need to have a place to put the key securely on the bike somewhere near the ignition to prevent this happening and warning/reminder notices like they have on cars it’s surprising really, manufacturers have rushed it to market I think. I have the H2 SX and the spare key works if you hold it on the keyless box and press down for 5 seconds it starts the bike, if you lose the main key - just in case you didn’t know this!
Agreed mate and that’s great if you happen to have the spare key with you lol. Good info though thank you. Be great to have somewhere to put it in the bike
I’ve put my fob with an Apple air tag now as after 2 months ownership I’ve lost it twice already. 🙈. Now the Kpass system is not responding at all and I have to trailer my bike to the dealership for investigation.
yes I must admit I can not see the point of keyless ignition on a bike unless all the stuff (under seat , tank ) also opens like the cars. But its should have noticed straight away when it first fell out and lost signal . the main point of keyless is so that you dont have to take it out of your pocket no point at all if you do have to take it out for anything else. I may not be in bed but Im in the warm house for sure LOL no fun getting cold or wet both is even worst lol
Haha lol. You stay in the warm pal. Agree with all your points. It’s pointless. It’s also done for security but now the robbers don’t even have to break in your house. They can just use a range extender and start it up. It’s created a worse problem than it was trying to solve.

That’s a mega idea pal. Thank you for the info 🫡
😂😂😂 Hardcore 😂😂 sorry I couldn’t make it mate, Badger needed some TLC, I’ve tickled its Fanny on the hour every hour and it’s getting better 👍🏻
Haha lol till next time 🤞

@@MotovlogUK I’m not allowed to write or draw on your bike anymore. I get told off. Well Matt does anyway 🤣😂
I agree. Only making ignition keyless is a daft idea. All locks should be keyless or keyless is pointless.

Hate this about mine
Especially for fuel when key is in jacket
Going to get keyless fuel cap at some point
Just a pain in the ass ….

Noooooooooooooo!
Thanks Dave and Cartz for finding the key. Darn system is useless.😢
No problem buddy.

@@MotovlogUK I hope you store your key in a faraday box / bag to stop the risk
@@Tainted-Soul Another thing we have to do. All for keyless ignition lol
Probably a dead badger 😂😂😂
Either could have been true. Both even.
I'm not a fan of these fob systems for motorcycles. They are cash cows for the dealers and do not add value to the bikes utility.
