Great detailed review. Agree about apps- went from BMW 1250RS to H2 SX and the apps on BMW were much better. I have had the H2 SX for about 6 months and have not got on with any of the apps.
Another great, honest review. I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder issue. I think you may be gripping the bars too tightly which is where the shoulder issue is coming from. I'm 61 and have ridden over 30,000 miles on my H2 SX SE Performance Tourer, including some 10+ hour days, across France, over the Alps, Dolomites, Pyrenees and Picos, with no issues beyond the need for an air seat cushion to ensure a comfortable bum. I've had road lean angles of well over 45 regularly so there is lots more your bike can do safely and comfortably. My MY2024 H2 SE SE Performance Tourer arrives today to replace my 2019 bike. I'll let you know what I think of the Spin app but I have a friend with a MY2022 H2 SE SE and he's not impressed.
Hey buddy thank you for commenting. You’re dead right, I was holding on too tightly as I didn’t have any tank pads and subconsciously didn’t want to ruin the paint. The rides much easier now I’ve addressed the issues so I hope I’ll be good going forward. Would love to travel Europe. Good luck with your new one pal and I look forward to you’re verdict 🫡
I’ve had mine since 2019, no issues with the stand and corrosion. I put R&G’s double skin on mine from day one, zero chips and I’ve done 15k mainly in Europe! Once it was out of warranty I had it remapped, she’s now got 222bhp at the back wheel and it’s still ultra reliable… In fact I did Italy two up for two weeks, faultless Kawasaki wizardry👌🏽
@@MotovlogUK it’s expensive and an arse to put on, but so worth doing in my opinion. I’m a bit on the OCD side when it comes to my bike, like we all are, so it was a must!
Manufacturers used to always put helmet locks standard on their bikes. I bought the oem lock also. Pain to put on and as shown in your pics the helmet would hit the peg bracket! I had to get an extension cable. There are bar risers available and raise bars about 1.5 inches. I also put Knight pegs that lower them 1 inch.
Nice one mate. Do you have a link for the risers for a 23 SE model? The only one I can find means you have to put new handlebars on and I’m not going to be doing that. Cheers buddy.

Only now do I look to upgrade with accessories. I shall over this winter put out my own videos of real long term ownership
Nice review 👍 I've had my 2018 for 11 months now and have put a little over 5000 miles on it. I tried the Powerbronze screen but it just deflected the air from my chest to my head so I put the original back as it was too noisy. Average mpg is around the low 40s. Also have Road 6s on mine - also have them on my Sprint ST 1050 - have only used them since the 4s were released. Sounds like I'm not missing anything with the app(!) or the digital dash or the keyless ignition but I quite fancy the electronic suspension. Quite lumpy at low revs - definitely considering a remap to smooth things out. I'm 6'4" and the reach is fine but I find the legs a bit cramped after a while in the seat.
Nice one pal. I bet it’s a bit of a different animal when you’re over 6ft. You’re not missing much buddy. If I could have afforded one when they first came out I’d probably still have the 2018 one. Lovely bike 🫡
Hi Dave, centre stand paint erosion and rust is absolutely Kawasaki standard. Just, every year at service time, wipe it, degrease it well and matt black Hammerite the crossmember by dabbing it with a paint wetted sponge. You'll never stop it, just keep on top of it. 👍 That's a fantastic looking machine 👌
Hi Dave, great video man. I'm well impressed with the range your quoting, my ZH2 can scoff a tank in 100 miles, did Germany last year and it was verging on plain silly as we were nearly stopping every hr 😅
Going back to what I was saying yesterday about the risers, Chopsy did the same thing on his H2 for the exact same reason. He added the tank pads/grips for the same reason to alleviate the pressure off his wrists, but he also changed his seat as well to a much more softer comfortable seat to alleviate/cushion the bumps due to the suspension. Not sure if last year's version would fit your 2023, probably not. But it looks like a lot of companies make them for the same reason. The H2 SX SE is much more of a sports Tourer than the H2. But even Chopsy agrees it's a harsh riding position unless you're using it as a track bike
Nice bike 👍. If the rise comes up again just lightly sand back the area on the stand where it’s rusting and get some good quality primer and give it a few coats spray with a few coats of matt black engine paint. It’ll never rust again.
Great vid Dave, I’ve got a sharpie to touch those chips on the fairing for ya, I don’t think it’ll sort the centre stand out though (that sucks) great that you’re still enjoying the bike, unlike your shoulder 😂😂😂 here’s to 2024 mate 🤘🏼

Filled it to the brim both times, but not as bad as my H2 2015 on the same route, I've used it twice and each time have a stone chip, I think kawasaki are having problems with paint adhering to primer? Hi Dave. Is your powerbronze screen the light or dark tint version?
Hey buddy I went for the medium smoked one. Didn't want the dark one as I don't like the look of them. I prefer smoked as it's still a bit see through
Is these genuine Kawasaki screen and helmet lock? And where did you get knee protectors? Could you maybe write a list of all additional equipment with the information where to get them? Thank you in advance.
Hey where did you got your akrapovic ? Here all we can get is the stainless one .

What it like regards rain, wind on your body.
It’s got pretty good protection from the rain. Wind is a bit hit and miss depending on what screen you have though
@@MotovlogUK thanks 👍

hello, first of all congratulations on the H2; I like your videos and keep it up.
for scratches I advise you to first have the paint restored and then protect with PPF film as in this video: ua-cam.com/video/gH48-2mGpnQ/v-deo.htmlsi=0VJaJxeh0YoNOL5c
You’re a legend thank you buddy. I may just do that 🫡
