1. Mandatory for entry for foreign travellers:
Valid Visa (for visa required visitors) or Korea Electronic Travel authorization (for visa free visitors). The Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) process will take up to 72 hours and the results will be sent to your email. The K-ETA cost 10,000 KRW per person or $7USD (watch out for scams!) We highly recommend to file for the K-ETA 3-5 days before your flight to Korea.

If anybody get to go to Jeju island. Hope you know you can go to the trail called ‘Youngsil’ which is one of trail for Mount Hanla. Super Under-rated trail that is un well-known comparing to the trails to the summit. Hope you can enjoy this.
It takes only 3hours only up and down. If you have good luck, you could access to the trail called Donnaeko which is connected to the destination of Youngsil and only get through the starting point till the afternoon-ish.

Jeju island always reminds me of the Korean classic old world movie called Jewel In The Palace which made the island world famous. Indeed it is beautiful for the lush scenic landscape and peaceful remoteness. Nice tour of the island. Love it.

the rice has to be transferred to the bowls
then you fill the rice pot (with some rice still sticking to it) with a kind of soup stock (the container's somewhere on the table), then you have it as a sort of "dessert"

한국 사람인 줄 알고 안가르쳐 준 것 같은데, 바쁘거나... 저 돌솥에 있는 밥을 옆 그릇에 옮겨 담은 뒤 돌솥에 뜨거운 물을 부어 숭늉을 만들어 먹는 방식입니다. 모든 음식점에서 친절하게 그런것까지 시범을 잠깐 보여주면 좋을텐데 아쉽네요. 아직 중간까지 못봤는데 보통 한국 사람들은 제주도 가면 갈치 조림이나 구이를 먹는데 친절한 구글 리뷰나 책에서 가르쳐 줬는지 모르겠네요...올해 가봤는데 스누피 가든이 제일 좋았어요~ 제주 하면 가장 랜드마크인, 한라산도 추천합니다.
I think she thought you were Korean and didn't teach it, or she was busy... This is the way to make Sungnyung by pouring hot water into the stone pot after transferring the rice from the stone pot to the next bowl. It would be nice if all restaurants kindly demonstrated such a thing for a while... I haven't seen this video halfway through yet, but Koreans eat usually braised or grilled cutlassfish when they go to Jeju Island, but I don't know if a good google review or travel book taught you that... I went this year, and Snoopy Garden was the best~ I also recommend Halla mountain, the most famous landmark in Jeju.

I just stumbled on your channel by chance, but glad I did! Your videos feel very high quality which I love. I can't wait to binge on all your other videos!
FYI for anyone that wants to go to Jeju. Arriving at the airport at Kimpo for domestic flights are usually pretty chill so arriving about 1 hour before your flight is usually more than enough to get checked in and board your flight.
I wish the waitress at the tofu soup place explained things better. You guys were supposed to take the rice out of the stone bowl into the empty bowl leaving a little bit of rice left inside the stone bowl and pour water in there. Then at the end of your meal you have this sooooo yummy rice water that taste like tea. I hope you guys get a chance to enjoy that rice water one day. It's my favorite part of any meal that has the rice in the stone bowls.

Jeju Island is called Samdado in Korea. Samdado means an island with three many things, wind, women, and stones. Sam(三) means 3 and Da(多) means a lot, and Do(島) means an island. ^^

7-11s in Asian countries have the ones in the US beat by a MILE. Ours have a lot of sugary crap and candy and chips. And a lot of alcohol. That’s honestly about it. I wish we had as much variety as they do there. ☺️
