I was asking if I can get a link of visit visa application methods like I found out my country is amongst 35 country which is free visa but I have to apply online.
Thank you so much , thank god I found you because my mind was exploding on the options of hotels , attractions , food … renting a car . Will be jeju n Seoul in April 2024 for 15 days
Thank you. That was really good to watch. I've made lots of notes! Your tips are very helpful. I'm so glad I came across this 😁 We are planning 3 days in Jeju end of July/August and I was battling to plan anything until I watched your video.
Thank you so much for your invaluable insight to Jeju, Young. I'm a solo traveller and I feel so much more confident now with the clear & concise information you have given. :-)
Thank you so much for so many precious tips...I will be spending 3 nights in Jeju in Dec (winter) with 2 kids (age 9 & 13). I am planning to stay a night in Aewol, a another night in seogwipo and the third somewhere in the middle right part of the island. Can you pls recommed things to do in Jeju in winter, visiting the Camellia Hill is already in my list :)
Thank you for the nice tips. I have another reason to bust it South Korea. My favourite country. I plan to do April first week to catch the cherry blossom and then a three night trip to jeju. Thanks again 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Mr Yong for your summary of what, where and how to get around and to eat in Jeju. I find it very helpful. Your tips are useful and surely looking forward to my trip in July 👍
This video was very useful and not overwhelming at all. You went through the points quickly which I preferred. I am planning on going to Jeju but I’m not sure yet as visiting the attractions especially the UNESCO heritage sites are on my list but I was wondering if I can travel by bus without using the tour guided bus which cost too much. Can you please advise?
Your video is very informative and helpful. I am interested in travel to Jeju next year. If I would like to stay near The Shilla Duty Free or Domgmun Market, I have to stay at the hotel in which area.

Hello Korea Friend, this video is a big help for me planning our trip this winter. I have a few questions, hope you could help me. - what are some phone apps i moght need for the whole trip? Gps, call, and etc - can you at least give 3 to 5 links where to rent a car, cheapest the better but n good service and quality - when visiting Hallasan, what do you recommend if we can't go for a long and high climb but still want to experience snow
I have a few question if you don't mind.😊 1.Do I need a licence to rent a motocycle in Jeju? 2. How long it takes to run around the Island? 3. Do I need to make advance booking if I take ferry and what is the duration from Incheon to Jeju? Any recommendation on website for the ferry time schedule? Thank you!😊
Could u please recommend which area would be ideal to stay in jeju island for visiting Hallasan national park, Seongsang ilchulbong, & Manjanggul caves Thankyou
Hello, thanks for your guide videos, very helpful! I am thinking to visit South Korea (I live in Australia) sometime between August and September. I plan to spend 2 weeks (perhaps half in Seoul and half in Jeju-Do, maybe 2 days in Busan). I noticed in some webistes, there is a public holiday on 15th-August (Liberation Day) and 3 public holidays 16-Sep to 18-Sep (Chuseok). I read that you commented about August being a rainy month, so just wondering if you could recommend a best time to visit according to the weather? Is it advised to visit during public holiday (I am thinking to avoid the public holidays dates). Thanks!
Hello! Very helpful video!!!! Thank you!!! I have a question, to Jeju is any other airline except Asiana Airlines and Korean Air that goes to Jeju? Can you suggest me the most affordable way to visit the island? I ll travel in August.
Hi, If I've 7 nights in Jeju and not driving and join tour, where would you recommend I base on my arrival (ETA 6am). I am travelling with a 7 Years old
Great to hear you had a wonderful time in Jeju! Yes, Jeju is an island, but the upper part of the island is called Jeju-si meaning Jeju city 😊 I heard about the drama but haven’t watched it yet. I should 😆
Im currently in the process of planning a short to sk w/my mom in October. Is there a place in jeju island thats senior friendly?? [Not too many hills but scenic enough for her to enjoy]?? Appreciate any feedback!!
Thank you for helpgul videos. We are flying from Gimpo to Jeju and planning to rent a car to explore Jeju for 4 days in winter. Should we stay in Jeju city the whole entire time trip or stay half of the time in Seogwipo?
I have a rental car in jeju. My family joined us and i need to drop them at the airport for their departure. Where can I drop them off at the Jeju airport? Any info would be very helpful. Thanks
Nice video :) I'm planning a 5 day trip in September. Any tips on where to stay if we want to hike Hallasan Mountain and also visit Seongsan Ilchubong?
To hike up Hallasan Mountain, you have to go early. So it's best to stay in the nearest hotel to Hallasan Mountain. I have heard many people who hike stay in Hotel Nanta, which is the closest hotel. Hotel will call a taxi for you if you ask for one to go to Hallasan. This hotel is not close to Seongsan Ilchubong, but I think it's not a going to be a problem. :) Hope this helps!
I find your video very informative. I have a question. I am travelling from Mokpo to Jeju in December. The Webside Direct Ferries is not taking reservation therefore next option in Seaferry. As a foreigner, do I need to call them to book the reservation. I find their website is only for Koreans nationals to book ticket. Can you advise on this?
Do you recommend renting a car in advance? I am travelling to Jeju for a week in September. If so, do you have any websites of companies that are reliable to rent from?
A few things i heard about cars in jeju 1. u need to have ur international license to rent a car. 2. Traffic and certain areas may be difficult for foreigners to navigate. 3. Parking is not the best. Not sure how accurate all of these things are tho.
Best to reserve a car before your arrival date. My week trip last March I rented from Lotte Rentacar 👍. You can choose other companies if you like. Driving first time in jeju can be nervous but you'll get use to it the more you spend time driving around. Be safe and have relaxing fun.
1. YES! It a must ;) 2. Yes.. it is :( But if you go out the Jeju-si, then it should be okay. My beginner friend was able to drive well lol. 3. Yes, street parking is crazy..but parking lot parking should be okay. ;)
Ciao my coreafriend, I am writing to you from Italy (Matera) to ask you for some advice for my first trip to Korea. I will be in Korea in August from the 8th to the 23rd. I have already booked the hotel in Seoul (Myeongdong - Pacific Hotel) until the 16th and now I have to book for Busan and maybe also for Jeju (the return flight to Italy leaves from Seoul on 23 evening). What do you suggest me ? I only go to Busan or I can also go to Jeju. Traveling with my wife and 27 year old daughter. Thank You so much for your videos beautiful and very interesting and useful. Ferdinando from Matera
I've just come back from Korea. We did only Jeju and Seoul. I definitely recommend putting Jeju on your list! Seoul is a huge buzzing city. Jeju is more relaxing and the scenery is very beautiful. I stayed 4 nights but me & my partner have found it too short.
Personally, I think a week in Busan is too long so I recommend going to Jeju as well for like 3 days. It can be too short to see all attractions in Jeju for 3 days. But I think that is enough to see main attractions and to see Jeju Island. HOWEVER, August is a rainy season in Korea. It might or might not rain during the time of your visit. So if you plan to go to Jeju, I recommend Seoul> Jeju > Busan just in case of the heavy rain. All the inbound/outbound flights get delayed or cancelled. Or if you don't want to take a risk of the flight cancellation, then I recommend looking into Gyeongju instead of Jeju. Gyeongju is another historical city in Korea. :)
@@yourkoreafriend Thank You so much my Korea friend ! I don't want take a risk of the flight cancellation and prefer stay in Busan. I prefer to stay in Busan because I booked (thanks to your advice) a great hotel in Heaundae Beach and then, if the weather is good, take the bullet train that takes me to Gyeongjiou in about half an hour.

I don’t perform. I want to listen to singers. I want to find small concerts in October. Do you know any websites that would have this information?

If you have arc, then you don’t need a passport :)
Jeju is way better to visit since it doesn't have a visa.
How about renting a driver there? Would it be better?
It's a great option and very convenient to do so if you are not familiar driving in Korea. :)
I heard that if foreign nationals want to work in Jeju they don't need a visa. Is it true ?
Not true
But fuel is expensive
Very helpful video . Really appreciate it. Thanks
