It's so refreshing to listen to a real decent gentleman talking about prestige watches after the likes of Nico, TraxNYC etc. Keep up the good work, sir.
I bought a Rolex band from Everest last year, and it's superb. It was well over $100 USD, but the curved ends by the springbars fit the watch case like a glove, and the material is both tough and comfortable. Rolex themselves couldn't have done it better.
I’ve had an Artem for about a year. And it has been on some of my toughest watches. By that, I mean NTH subs that I use in the hottest and wettest times. Think…. Fishing on the Mississippi River. Or in the Gulf of Mexico. And it looks sharp, holds up and cleans up well. Not $33 or $19.99 but draws complements and keeps on going. Got mine with QR and no pop offs.
I recently purchased two loopless straps for my Speedy. After a quick break in period (approx 3 hours), both feel fantastic on the wrist. Thanks for sharing.
The Omega deployants with the hidden excess are nice but the inner strap tends to poke out the side a bit, as at 2:22. The Speedy one is tidy enough and the grey stitching matches the numbers on the tachymeter.
Great way to “renew” an old favorite watch. Great presentation. I’ve been thinking about one of the white Hirsch leather/rubber straps for my speedy. Haven’t gotten up the bravery to try yet.
12:49 Your Tudor GMT is the CLEANEST strap set up, I've seen! The satin finish, the blue tones match PERFECTLY.🔥🔥 Everest's doesn't match this perfect, no disrespect intended, they are top grade. So happy that I found this video! I ordered my first item strap last night and I cannot wait to receive it! As soon as i saw your Rolex with the Artem strap, I KNEW I made the right decision, to pull the trigger last night.🤣 Thank you for showing the operation and features, as well as explaining the "BP FF" (Blancpian Fifty Fathoms) clasp design. I love the way it functions, the chunkiness of the setup on your Beautiful Tudor GMT, confirms my CORRECT purchase decision. I love the way it fits your wrist; Proper! I have the Tudor 79230R. I was looking at the Black option, very Sexy.🔥🔥🔥 I decided to go for the Sand Sailcloth strap with the Stainless, BP FF Style Clasp. It will have a nice contrast between the Sand colored strap, Red bezel and Black dial. AMAZING Straps Review, Tits! Best one I've seen. Many thanks from the Yank across the pond.👍🏽🇺🇲
Just ordered 2 of their classic straps without the quick release and with just basic tang buckles. They haven’t arrived yet but without an express shipping code they can take a month to arrive. With the dhl charges, vat and duty it is costing me 88 pounds for each strap. I hope they are worth it
Andy - thanks for doing this, i try find the whole process of changing straps too much hassle But i have a few from Strap Taylor hand made in the UK and happy to support an artisan
I have just bough the Tudor GMT Opaline and was looking for a strap for summer and came across your video Andy (I must have missed this one). The Artem blue strap with deployment looks just the job. I think that will be on order soon. Thanks for the video 🙏
A nice video giving options on how to present/change the look of your watch collection. I saw another of your videos a while back on the same subject. I've bought some entry level straps from Amazon of different styles like rubber and leather just to see how my watches look and I must say my Snowflake looks great on a matt leather strap it really makes the face pop.
Thanks for sharing these straps with us. I have wrists that disintegrate leather so finding a quality deployant strap that doesn’t cost $600.00 (from Omega) is a excellent! Ordered one for my sandwich Speedy. 😎😉
I have a few straps that to be honest, I seldom use. As you say, there is something about a manufacturer (Omega) quality strap, but just could not bring myself to pay some of their after market prices, eg their NATO, although I did get the deployment for my Apollo 8, which as you say, they have you stuffed as you need to get the strap and even a different deployment clasp!!! I also like the security of a deployment, particularly when you are putting it on, but at the end of the day you have your expensive timepiece secured but a spring-bar that is made in China for pence 😱
Thanks for the review. I’m thinking of getting a black with grey stitch sail cloth with BP clasp but concerned that it will be too loose on my 6.5” inch wrist. I’ll reach out to Artem to confirm but wondering what your thoughts are since you said you used the last hole. Thanks in advance for any advice you have.
I have the same combo for my speedy and it looks and feels fantastic. I also have a black nato from Artem for the speedy that i wear occasionally, i really love the quality of the brand and hope they start making integrated rubber straps like the one for your PO. Would love one for mye BBPro. Great video as always! Cheers!
This has been a fantastic video! I have been looking for a deployment clasp and strap for a couple of my watches and I think Artem straps will be perfect.
Can we have a video on top 10 best websites for straps/braclets in different price categories 🙏. I either find they are £6 or OEM priced. Some watches I don't mind smashing out some money on a nice new strap as long as I know its going to be quality. Others, I only want to pay £20/£30 for a swop out strap to mix things up. Cheers
Just got an atrtem white stitch strap for my speedy. Looks nice enough, nice pin buckle but bit underwhelming , padding is thin .....thought it would be better for money. So so.
@@TheEnglishWatch says on site its changed its upper material to a higher sheen, just wonder if its same quality. Still nice enough just not bowled over.
That was a nice review, thanks. I was checking at Artem earlier for my recently purchased Speedy. You just helped me to look no further. If white stitch is available would you have gone for it. Speedy does come with black stitch, and to me it looks quite nice. But then Speedy being a black dial with white hands, the white-stitch would probably look just as nice. What do you think.
@@TheEnglishWatch Thanks a lot, I agree. The grey brings subtle but nice balance between the black and the white. It sure looks great on yours. So I will go with that.
Already have the Omega rubber with deployment clasp on my Aqua Terra & and more than happy with it. Am interested in the sailcloth & Bp style deployment with the double fold clasp. What is your view please Andy on this compared with the Oem Omega ? Great content as always & good to see your recovery going well.
I’m not sure you’ll beat the quality of the Omega clasp and not sure how the BP clasp sizes down. you may need a wide strap. The one I tried was 20mm. It’s a great clasp but check sizing.
🤔 ok. I’ve put the strap back on my speedy this morning….it’s very nice. I’m between the last last and last but one holes. I have a 17cm (6 3/4”) wrist. If you do find one that works for you, the RM clasp is pretty great. There’s always the option to add a few more holes - they may do this for you.
I’ll buying the same deployment and the same strap for my speedy - exactly the same as yours. You just made me spend £200 thank you very much ! 😂 You have great taste. What’s the lug width again ?
First... what the hell is a quid pffft lol artem never runs out of super fans so from best I can tell they make amazing sail cloth straps. I can attest they look amazing on the range of Tudor pelagos ( i)
great product but there are inherent flaws with the materials used that people should know about. would love to see more people do long term reviews of this hyped product. mine has already started splitting apart after just over one year of use. not really acceptable for a strap costing close to 100 USD.
One more comment. “One size (never) fits all” You commented that that you like the Artem deployment better than the Omega deployment due to the size of the Omega being too large at times. I have a 20cm wrist. The average US surgeon wears size 7 gloves. I wear size 9! The larger opening is necessary even when adjusted to fit my wrist, to get my massive hand through the deployment clasp. The Artem is inadequate. Love the strap but the Artem single throw is inadequate. Pin buckle or butterfly for me.
At 10:51, what you are saying is the crap straps from Fleabay are the Lizz Truss and Braverman of watch straps. Whereas your OEM's are more Churchillian.
In simple terms, and in my honest opinion, yes. That’s not to knock budget straps though as they all have their place, just not on a watch costing thousands.
He’s saying you’d be a brave man to think the Conservative Parliamentary Party were ever going to provide Liz with the kind of support a truss does, and to avoid eBay for cheap watch clasps because to paraphrase Winston Churchill, “Never was so much crap sold by so few bought by so many.”
It's so refreshing to listen to a real decent gentleman talking about prestige watches after the likes of Nico, TraxNYC etc. Keep up the good work, sir.
i just wish artem offered other colors than blue and black for their omega deployant clasps.....brown and tan would be great additions.

I have a 22mm Hirsch Robby. It’s a sailcloth over rubber and really good quality. I guess you’ll never know until you do it.
I paired my SMP 300 with a Artem Sailcloth strap and OEM Omega deployant buckle and it looks great.

I personally prefer the OEM straps. They some how feel right on the watch
How do Hirsch straps compare to the Atrem straps?
I have a Hirsch Robby. It’s a nice strap.
Hi Nigel. Great channel! Does Artem make straps for larger wrists, say 8.75 inch?
I believe so. They have small, medium and large sizes, so should fit you fine. They’re pretty responsive, so drop them a line.
Tbh anyone seems like a decent gentleman compared to nico
This has been a fantastic video! I have been looking for a deployment clasp and strap for a couple of my watches and I think Artem straps will be perfect.
I highly recommend the RM clasp.

I’ll give it some thought. Nice idea.
What tool do you use?
Do the clasps make the watch tighter with the additional material in between the strap and wrist compared to just a buckle?
I wouldn’t say so.
Thanks for the clarification on this. I was hoping the clasp would help the fit since my wrist is 6.5”
Just got an atrtem white stitch strap for my speedy. Looks nice enough, nice pin buckle but bit underwhelming , padding is thin .....thought it would be better for money. So so.
That’s a shame. I think it’s just the right amount of padding. Worth contacting Artem if you’re not happy, they’re pretty responsive.

Do you recommend the quick release sailcloth strap or the regular version
I always recommend quick release.
Will the RM style clasp allow you to use the strap if it's to big, do you need to use the last hole still ?
I’m pretty much on the last hole, but they do other sizes. The clasp is great.

If only they made them in man sizes 115mm x 70 is far to small for my wrists i nee at least 120 x 80 mm

You mean they’re not all designed around my dainty little wrist. Bugger. I could do with an extra half inch 😉.
Submariners should be worn on oyster bracelets, like God intended.
James Bond would certainly disagree
