Kevin actually won this one, especially before the swap at the end. The collection is super cohesive, has a family feel and the GP really rounded it off well with a bit of flavour. Well done old boy. Teddy don't feel too bad, you usually decimate him hahaha. A great UA-cam watch duo with powerfully contrasting perspectives but complementary alignment on the artistic and philosophical side of the hobby. So sick.
I think this is true and I would say the same when watching this video. However, in real life, I want a variety I can wear with different outfits for different occasions, and I personally have a problem with picking the plain, so I would probably opt for Teddy's collection. So, if I had to pick the whole set at one time, Mr.Wonderful, but if I bought them all over time, Teddy all the way (esp. after the swap). Btw, the smart swap would have been the Doxa, imo.
Teddy's watches individually are great picks and I can see myself choosing them too. However, when seeing Mr. Wonderful's final collection side by side by side, my heart fluttered. Mr.W has this win in my book.
This comment section is full of hypebeasts, Teddy's collection was far more tasteful. That Ulysse Nardin watch looks ridiculous and would be getting laughed at without the 300k price tag.

Stopped what he was doing and took 10 min to talk to me and give his perspective on my collection and what I might consider next. Thanks for the great content and your passion for the hobby!
Kevin definitely won this battle: the Omega black and gold combination it’s a killer, the ORIS Roberto Clemente edition is unique, and the JLC it’s so classic beautiful and complex at the same time. In my opinion, these three pieces moved the balance into Kevin‘s favor. That Grand Seiko is such a beautiful piece.

Longines HC is a fantastic piece. You made a great choice, the one brand I would say you’re getting the best bang for your buck. My blue dial HC is my so-called beater, but gets tons of praises from watch lovers.
A very close competition! I feel Teddy's selections lean towards the intellectual (choices from 'the head'), while Kevin's leans emotive (from 'the heart'). Both perspectives / approaches have an equal place in watch collecting - this series illustrates that contrast well.

Teddy, it would be great if you had a video with Kevin concerning the top 5 watches in his collection with personal meaning. Not necessarily the most expensive... just the ones which have meaning/memories attached. I have watches which I purchased the day my sons were born and think about every day. I have a GMT Master from the year I was born as well as a Daytona from my HSchool graduation year. One the day I received my first paycheck as a doctor, etc. All these are so meaningful to me as each day I wear one, it really reminds me of my life at that time. I wonder whether Kevin has anything in his collection which is similar.
I completely agree. Watches are placeholders for me and we have a very similar story; undergrad, MD, births of my children, special events and retirement. Recently added a Speedy when it came with a Gen Tom S. event and signed box. Each watch tells a story so I’m not a collector who buys with the intention of selling.
The Grand Seiko’s Dial, Patek’s classic design and last minute swap gave Teddy the clear win! You guys have awesome chemistry together! You both have really created the Mr. Wonderful & Teddy watch series!
that is exactly what I think, great post Walde... Teddy pulled it off with that swap.... love that GS and the patek is the classiest watch on the table.... very entertaining vid
Personally for me, as a collection, its Teddy because of how he's able to get that variety in design and the watches really compliment each other. But in terms of head to head for category, it has to be Kevin, just in terms class and elegance. Absolutely love that Oris and JLC pick.
I think I have to go with Teddy for this face-off. His collection is a little more balanced for the taste. The steal at the end is what did it for me. What a watch. Such an aspirational piece. 😮😮
@@d7r_tv Yeah, that's a controversial story. Let's see how it plays out. Based on the outcome, guess Teddy might reconsider his association with Kevin 😁

Teddy's last minute swap made the competition very close but I still have to give the win to Kevin. When all five watches were put up on the screen it just looked better. Well done both. Loved watching it!
Teddy All day long! The Doxa was a very wise choice, I personally would have picked the Tiffany blue color. The GS with the green dial is sooo unique and a stellar watch. Excellent trade also as I found the UN kinda unattractive, especially with the propeller Tourbillon. This was a fun episode! Keep it up Fellas!
The UN is just as uggly as it is expensive in my opinion as well. But what do I know about fancy things? I could barely afford the Oris and this guys picked it as a "mehhh you can take it" hahahaha 🤣
Truly loved this video and now I have to go back and watch all yours as well as Kevin’s and the two of you together- very educational. I have long been a fan of Tudor and would love to get one.
Very close. I voted for Kevin the last few shopping competitions. In my opinion, Teddy finally won this round! I am wearing my new Tissot PRX Blue dial on the blue leather strap purchased with the kind assistance of Jon (Teddy's Director of Merchandising) on February 3rd. My next two watches are the Doxa 300 Professional with the classic orange dial and Omega Seamaster 300 Diver in Blue JB 60th Anniversary special. Kevin has shared several times many gems of wisdom, "Never go into debt buying a watch" and he is right. Gentlemen, thank you for another superb match up.
Teddy knocked the ball right out of the park with the GS and the Omega for me personally! The Doxa also speaks volumes for the variety and versatility of the collection. The only one I appreciated out of Kevin's collection was the Oris. Teddy wins
IMHO, Teddy's collection is definitely hitting on so many different levels as a collection, it takes the win for me. The only thing I'd swap is the Doxa for the Oris, and that'd be perfect.
It’s Teddy this time around. His collection is more diverse, while not having a single bad piece. I think I give Kevin the diver and dress watch categories (especially that Patek which is just gorgeous), but the other three categories go to Teddy, especially after he took the GP from Kevin. That Grand Seiko is also stunning.
It's great to watch these guys together. Teddy was about to win but Kevin definitely made it with the swap. UN Marine Mega Yacht is a remarkable piece.
Finally a win for Teddy! Great episode and great picks, although I'd have liked to see that Oris switch sides instead of the GP at the end... Also that Grand Seiko is killing it, their dials are offering so much value for the money, it pops out of all the watches, what a great combination of color and texture!
Love you guys together! I can't get enough! Usually Kevin kills it but this time, with that last minute swap Teddy pulled out the win! I have learned so much from watching Teddy's videos and Kevin's knowledge of watches, keep it up guys!!!
Gotta go with teddy on this one, the doxa grabd sieko combo kinda kicked Kevin on this one, hi didn’t have any one piece that truly popped more than teddy’s
Teddy, I liked your selection this time! You get my 🗳️ Sorry Mr. Wonderful! I love the fact that you all talk about a wide range for a diverse group of watch collectors.
Kevin is absolutely wearing an Apple Watch on his right wrist at the beginning of the video. I feel like I've heard him say countless times "you wouldn't catch me dead with a piece of consumer electronics on my wrist"
And not just any apple watch, but the very bold Product (Red) with the stock red band. Goes well with the red pocket square. I was a bit surprised by his choice, I must say.
Can’t beat gold polished Roman numerals that sparkle like jewels in the sunlight. Loving the sun ray dial man that pops!AMZWATCH watches. What a beautiful subtle piece.
I love that you both did Omega Seamasters but I think the winning choice would have been the new 60th anniversary model. Those subtle blue waves are excellent.
There are some wonderful picks here, but that GP 'Cosmos' is the climax. Words like 'wondrous' come to mind. Those last boutique watches take the discussion to a different level.
Kevin won hands down. That JLC! The two tone gold seamaster. Rolex GMT. I do give credit to Teddy for that crazy orange Jacques Cousteau timepiece. Wonderful collab keep em coming!

Such a fun duo! :D The UN Mega Yacht is insane!
Not going into debt to buy a watch is not wisdom, it's common sense! 😂
Kevin won, by far. He even chose a better beater watch. Great video!
It's great to watch these guys together. Teddy was about to win but Kevin definitely made it with the swap. UN Marine Mega Yacht is a remarkable piece.
It gets more and more fun each time u guys compete.. and it was tight indeed ! With the swap this time, i think Teddy finally toppled Kevin
That anchor watch was super cool. And the last one Kevin chose is suuuper dope
Even though both of them love watches in such a radically different way, it's impossible not to love their chemistry.
Finally a win for Teddy! Great episode and great picks, although I'd have liked to see that Oris switch sides instead of the GP at the end... Also that Grand Seiko is killing it, their dials are offering so much value for the money, it pops out of all the watches, what a great combination of color and texture!
There's a hell of an entertaining dynamic between these two.
My next luxury watch will certainly be Grand Seiko! Need that Spring Drive.
Love you guys together! I can't get enough! Usually Kevin kills it but this time, with that last minute swap Teddy pulled out the win! I have learned so much from watching Teddy's videos and Kevin's knowledge of watches, keep it up guys!!!
These are so fun to watch! Keep making them with Kevin!
Gotta go with teddy on this one, the doxa grabd sieko combo kinda kicked Kevin on this one, hi didn’t have any one piece that truly popped more than teddy’s
Kevin won all categories before the swap, all but one after! I had to open tabs for every watch he chose in that store. Nice video as always Teddy!
Completely agree.
100%
I dunno, I think Teddy made a lateral swap. Neither watch is my style but both are pretty magnificent pieces.
Teddy, I liked your selection this time! You get my 🗳️
Sorry Mr. Wonderful! I love the fact that you all talk about a wide range for a diverse group of watch collectors.
The videos with Kevin are always my favorite never stop doing these 🙏
Kevin is absolutely wearing an Apple Watch on his right wrist at the beginning of the video. I feel like I've heard him say countless times "you wouldn't catch me dead with a piece of consumer electronics on my wrist"
Kevin is a 100% salesman. I wouldn’t hold any salesman as accountable to their word!
He is! but i think he does often wear those athletic/health monitor type strap things though. I wonder if that's why he has the apple watch.
And not just any apple watch, but the very bold Product (Red) with the stock red band. Goes well with the red pocket square. I was a bit surprised by his choice, I must say.
I didn’t agree with all the options but I think Kevin came out on top, the Oris for a beater is gorgeous, I’d be wearing that as a dress piece
Great friendly competition series. Great picks by Kevin and Teddy. Great swap by Teddy taking the GP from Kevin to snatch the win.
Teddy won this time. There's no question about it! What a great collection!
Can’t beat gold polished Roman numerals that sparkle like jewels in the sunlight. Loving the sun ray dial man that pops!AMZWATCH watches. What a beautiful subtle piece.
That last minute swap changed the game😂 going with Teddy👏🏻👏🏻
100%
I love that you both did Omega Seamasters but I think the winning choice would have been the new 60th anniversary model. Those subtle blue waves are excellent.
There are some wonderful picks here, but that GP 'Cosmos' is the climax. Words like 'wondrous' come to mind. Those last boutique watches take the discussion to a different level.
Teddy's collection is top notch. He's the winner hands down. The watches complement each other so well.
Kevin: What's a good prison watch? Asking for a friend...
Lol...right. eff him.
I think Kevin's collection is superb. Good job both of u sirs
Call me old fashioned if you must, but I'll take the vintage Calatrava.
Teddy won for once, especially with that last minute swap. That was so cruel haha!
$340,000 GP Jacob and Company style watch was ridiculous…I would never buy that, and it won’t hold its value.
@@michimadiforever1458 Watches aren't always about "holding value".
Kevin's collection wins, hands down, no contest!
Kevin won hands down. That JLC! The two tone gold seamaster. Rolex GMT. I do give credit to Teddy for that crazy orange Jacques Cousteau timepiece. Wonderful collab keep em coming!
Using that FTX Endorsement money well
Way to go Kevin with the Omega SMP300 black dial on Sedna gold! I picked up mine back on 2021. I love it.
No better way to start a saturday than with a T & K collab.. this should be a Netflix show
I will watch 100% of these collaborations. Until the end of time.
me and you bro
Teddy, it’d be great if you tell us all which watch(es) the people in a video are wearing. Boy we are curious. And thank you for everything that you do. I find your work a class apart. Thoroughly appreciate the quality your videos - big fan from India here :)
That Grand Seiko is gorgeous Teddy, but I think Mr Wonderful still win this round. That Omega and JLC is absolute bonkers.
What separates and defines Teddy from Kevin the most! Teddy pure and real, Kevin is a bullshiter!
