It's tough to swallow, because I think they're definitely marketed towards wearers of high end watches. But they look great on all types, and the craftsmanship/durability is stellar. I wear this classic black a ton and it still looks amazing. Maybe try just the strap without any add-ons?
Love how specific your example is! Ha! Hope your hand is better, though. Definitely pass on the deployant clasp upgrade...you'd have to slip that on as well.
Sorry amigo but what insane price. I guarantee you I can find the same quality strap for less than half that price That's ridiculous but thanks for the review .
Fair enough! But I thought the same thing before experiencing in-person. That's also the reason I showed my $20 kevlar type strap in the video, and made sure these ARTEM straps were at least a couple months used.
I think you get that appearance when certain light hits the strap, and in this video obviously I'm showing you closeups, so it's exaggerated. But I can see why you would feel that way. I don't have any hands on with the previous version, so this one is completely stellar to me!
@@WatchWitt have a look in google images and you’ll see the difference in appearance. It’s pretty drastic. They also confirmed the change on their website if you read the “please note” text on the black strap pages. The new green colour seems to be unaffected though, and still looks nice - it’s just the black one.
Yes, I noticed the statement when perusing their website prior to receiving the straps. It just doesn't pop out at me when wearing my watches on the straps, but everyone is different. Take a look at my Community tab from about a month ago...I've got a few bright sunlight shots where they DO appear super shiny, then a couple of darker/shade shots and they look very matte. They're just very dynamic.
Another great review Witt! Thanks!
Thanks! These straps are impressive!
Such clarity on your camera. Amazing
Thank you...I try!
They're such a great strap. Definitely going to be a go to for me this summer. Thanks fpr the vid!
I had no idea they were THAT good! Well worth the price.
Thanks for sharing. I may just get a couple of these straps. They look great.
SO clean. I wanted to try the loopless straps they have too, but they didn't have XL.
I can't believe you just rolled up an Artem strap like that. You're a savage!
Who knew, though?! I hope this can serve as a PSA for others! 😂 Take it slow. Let it break in naturally!
Love Artem! Top notch quality
Absolutely! I tried to convey that quality level in the video. These are stellar!
@@WatchWitt you did great
I might try one of these soon!
They're so "next level" in the strap game.
Amazing straps
The best! The natural rubber on the underside is incredible and the sailcloth is SO rugged!
Love mine for sure. Wish they had a blue 23mm.
They're stellar! Which watch do you have with 23mm lugs?
Citizen Blue Angels.@@WatchWitt
@davidwarburton8890 Oh, nice! That WOULD look excellent!
Is that VBAO for sale? Ive been looking for one.
Absolutely not! 😎 But I think they're considering making another round available next year...
Is that a Van Banner PM 2.0?
Yes, the stark white dial with crystal distortions is the VanBanner PM 2.0!
What model is the last watch with white dial
That's the VanBanner PM 2.0. They're sold out, but rumor is a 3.0 version may be in the works.
@@WatchWitt thank you sir! Great watch!
@docholliday9124 Absolutely...VanBanner is one of my favorite microbrands...great watches/designs/prices!
Straps always look good
I've admired them for quite some time. I knew they would look great, but I'm definitely impressed with the quality level.
I wish they had them for Cartier Santos
Ooooh, that would be cool!
I need to get my fat paws on a Artem strap they look great
So premium...the look and wear is fantastic!
Good info but heavy marketing. Need to keep looking to see if $200+ for a strap is worth it.

Useful to have attractive spare straps incase you hurt you hand and have to bandage it up thereby preventing bracelets from slipping over your hand.

They used to look so much better before they changed the material. It looks too shiny and plasticky now. Big downgrade

Overpriced garbage.
Mine are holding up great and look as good as day one. They ARE pricey, though.
