I'm starting to really love this channel bro Yoshi! A LOT of Filipinos love Japan and Japanese culture... If ask a random Filipino on the streets in the Philippines, they would probably give positive comments about Japan. So, I think the reason why your channel is growing very rapidly is that a LOT of Filipinos want to watch Japanese people loving our Philippine culture as much as we love your Japanese culture. Hoping to maybe meet and chat with you one day when I can travel to Japan. Keep it up bro! Much love from the Philippines 🇵🇭
Wow, that Filipina mother is speaking in Trilingual. Of course the fruits of her labor working in Japan for 35 years have given her the fluency to speak in all languages. Kudos!
Not just trilingual?🤔 You wouldn't know if she knew other regional languages (such as Bisaya, Waray, Hiligaynon, Kapampangan, or Ilocano) other than the national language (Filipino)?🤔
Example... Language: Tagalog Dialects: Manila Tagalog, Bulaqueño, Morong Tagalog/Rizaleño, Tayabason, Caviteño, Batangueño, Mindoreño, Nueva Ecijanon, Lagueño etc. Bisaya (Sugbuanon/Cebuano), Hiligaynon (Ilonggo), Ilocano, Kapampangan and Tagalog are mutually unintelligible with each other, therefore they are different languages. Batangueño, Bulaqueño, Lagueño, Caviteño and Manileño though they differ in accent but still both are mutually intelligible, therefore they are dialects.
Philipinos are very kind and positive people, they do not get enough cred for that. I love when you can have conversations like that, with restaurant owners over good food. Your mom is a beautiful woman. Greetings from Norway.
I lived in Japan for three years as a missionary and I was the Tuesday cook of the house. My Japanese confreres loved the adobo I made for them. You guys remind me of them. :-)
Japanese people are really friendly and respectful, and so are Filipinos. I guess that's the reason why both nationalities get along well with each other. Also I'm glad you guys like the local Filipino foods that we have ❤

I am glad Yoshi doesn't mind everytime people comment about Kohei being handsome. The three of you including your mom are warm persons that really show how you care for each other and for me is far better than looks. Beautiful inside and out.
I think they are suiting the taste for japanese people by making it less salty, or less sour. Sinigang is supposed to be super sour to be super tasty here and for sinigang na hipon it should taste sour but with sweetness of the shrimp which is really good. A sinigang that is not (satisfactory for filipinos kind of) sour is not really enough, or so just for my family. In terms of adobo, it should have sauce and its really tasty if it's thick (consistency) and spread on rice. If you eat here in philippines you may notice a sudden change of foods being too sour, too sweet, or too salty because one bite from the dish is intended next with a spoon of rice.
Kohei is just like me before and after eating, especially when the foods taste so good lol you can see the happiness in his eyes after stuffing his tummy with good foods. But Yoshi's friendly personality is something, his also approachable & good communication skill 👍 Can't wait to watch your other vlog soon ❤️ love from the Philippines 🇵🇭
