    Thank you so much for this video. Just bought a used nikon d5600 and was having a difficult time figuring out how to focus. What focus setting should I use for wide angle landscape shots?

    • @techbuzzguru4534

      Hi Harriet Kestenbaum,
      Thanks for referring to channel video. Nikon D5600 is still one of the best cameras with great image quality. For landscape, set the top mode dial to "A" aperture priority, then click "i" button located on rear side to see the settings on lcd screen. Move to AF mode click ok button and set it to "AF-S" and again click ok, , and next set the AF area mode to Area AF and set ok. Ensure that you set the F number as F8 or higher by rotating the thumb driven wheel. Finally through menu button go to shooting menu and scroll down to second list and set the release mode as single "S". Then you are ready to take landscape photos. Landscape photos look stunning when sky is clear and sun is not at the zenith.
      Hope I am able to help. These steps may seem too much to start with, but as you you start using dslr, you develop your own best settings.

    @techbuzzguru4534 - First let me say, well delivered video. I am very much a beginner and am using a Nikon DX VR 18-140mm lens which came with the camera. Its different to the lens in the video, more basic I think, but its still an AF-S lens. I have followed the settings instructions from your video, and am using Auto camera setting, but for the life of me cannot get the camera to deliver good focussed photos. any advise?

    • @techbuzzguru4534
      @techbuzzguru4534  Рік тому +1

      Hi Kevan, I realise that you are using camera in Auto camera settings. You verify that your camera is set to autofocus setting AF-S and Single point autofocus is selected from menu. If these are set, then the result will be better. In Auto camera setting the default autofocus selects focus point that is selected by camera based automatically you cannot choose it. Hope it helps.

      @@techbuzzguru4534 Thanks for your reply. 2 things. The focus mode options are only AF-A or MF which I think is because I am using the camera in manual mode - right? plus there is an ae-l/af-l button. which didnt seem to be mentioned in your video (or did I missit) but I am finding I get a slightly better result if press this after pressing the shutter button half way. Any comments on that?

    • @techbuzzguru4534
      @techbuzzguru4534  2 роки тому +1

      Please adjust the diopter dial while looking into the viewfinder. Try adjusting in either direction of rotation untill you have clear view. The dial is very small and it is located very near to viewfinder right side just above a green dot mark. Other reason may be that you have put lens in manual mode and it is out of focus. Auto focus mode or use shutter release button so that focus is locked and you see object clearly.

    sir my photos are not clear and sharp , when i take pictures and zoom it on eyes it shows some what white grains. please can u slove my problem? i have nikon d5600 and 70-300mm lens

    • @techbuzzguru4534
      @techbuzzguru4534  2 роки тому

      One of the following is the reasons for white grains:
      1. Low light photos without flash.
      2. Auto iso or high iso setting.
      Recommend Using flash indoors and not to use AUTO ISO setting

    On my D5600, all I can select is the Focus Mode (AF-S, AF-A, etc.) but I don't have the additional options you have.

      Hello Gaetano, thanks for visiting my channel. In the setting menu, there is option to select Auto focus area mode, where you have to select first option as single point auto focus. Hope this will help you.

      Hello Sudhirji,
      Thanks, aapne Mera video dekha aur apna problem share Kiya. Jab aap continuous photo high burst rate me lete hai to aapko release mode continous select karna hai, AF- area mode select karna aur focus mode continous serve AF-C select karna hai. 3 alag alag settings hai.
      Fir try kijiye.
      Happy photography.

    Why is the Focus light red in Other Videos its Green

    • @techbuzzguru4534
      @techbuzzguru4534  16 днів тому +1

      Nikon D5600 focus light is red. But recent Nikon mirrorless cameras have green. I have checked Nikon Z50. It has green focus light.

    My Nikon D5600 Is Not Autofocusing At All , Please Help

    • @techbuzzguru4534
      @techbuzzguru4534  2 роки тому

      Try all of these
      1.Check that on the lens,the switch mode is set to 'A/M'.
      2. Ensure that the camera focusing mode is selected as AFS or AFC or AFA from the camera settings menu.
      3. Ensure that you try to focus a distant subject , not very close or in low light.
      4. If all these are in place then ensure that the battery is properly charged.
      5. If still it doesn't work, then it requires service at authorised nikon service centre.
