What I love about this is that it embodies how the turtles' weapons and fighting styles reflect their personalities. Michelangelo is fast, wild, and unpredictable, Donatello is stable and fights from a distance, Raphael is aggressive and up-close, and Leonardo is practiced and precise.
You see the characters' personalities throughout, you see Leo and Ralph's rivalry, you see some fantastic fighting, excellent camera angles, every emotion is felt without them having to say anything, AND I mean come one they sit down and eat pizza in the middle. Yeah Michael bay needs to beg these guys for some pointers ASAP
Anyone noticed that their shirts matched their personalities? Not just the colors but how Leo is the good behaved one (Polo shirt) Raph is the bad boy cool dude (Sleeveless hoodie) Mikey is the wild optimistic party dude (Muscle shirt) and Donnie is the nerdy intelligent type (I think those are suspenders?)
Leonardo is the perfectionist, focused and goal-oriented. He is a devout follower of the Bushido, and as such closely values the tenants of courage, honesty, fairness, loyalty, and righteousness. He possesses the king's strategic and improvisational mind, able to come up with plans and adjust them on the fly. He has the strongest personal work ethic of all his brothers, and drives them to be the best they can be. He is cool and calm under pressure but that doesn't mean that he doesn't occasionally get frustrated or lash out. Especially when he feels conflicted. He is the most spiritual of his brothers, stating that he's the one who "believes in miracles". He shares the closest relationship with his father and often looks to him for help and guidance. He has memorized the works of Sun Tzu. He is a master of wielding the duel wakizashi (which he has named Musashi and Kamiizumi). According to Raphael, Leonardo disikes playing video games with Michelangelo because he hates to lose. Raphael is the sullen loner of their family, at certain times he feels he is alone in a world which does not understand him. He possesses a volatile temper which can often lead him to make a rash or foolish decisions unless he's kept in check by his father or one of his brothers. He is described as possessing a true warrior spirit. He seemingly lives for battle. He is rebellious, stubborn, and willful, barely listening to anybody except for his father. Despite this, Raphael values the tenants of Bushido (though he doesn't cling to them), desiring fairness and honesty above all else and will jump into a fight that he does not deem fair. Despite his hard exterior, he is an immensely compassionate soul, wanting only the best for his brothers, and has a hidden soft spot for children and animals. His favorite color is red. He has a close relationship with Arnold "Casey" Jones, Jr. considering him a surrogate brother. Donatello is the quiet brother and the most pensive. He views the world through the lens of tangible facts and numbers, often immediately dismissing the supernatural or things that cannot be proven by science or other criteria. This attitude often puts him at odds with Leonardo or their father, who are much more spiritual. He takes his training seriously, but at the same time if given the choice he'd rather read or tinker. Donatello does not enjoy this life of violence he was born into, he would much rather not fight at all. He wants more than this. He wants to be free to travel the world, to expand his mind, to pursue virtue and knowledge, to build connections with other people. Most often he uses the computer in the Hamato home to visit chat rooms in order to be amongst like-minded individuals. He is something of a pessimist, or realist as he likes to put it, often doubting he and his family actually have a chance of winning against the things they face. He has admitted that he has thought of giving up multiple times. Donatello often does not understand his brothers, but he is absolutely and completely loyal to them and to his father, whom he will follow to the depths of hell if need be. Donatello desires more than anything to protect those he loves. Though not aggressive, he can occasionally get a few remarks in. Donatello very rarely loses his temper. Michelangelo is often called the radiant light of the household. He is essentially the family's heart. Best known for his compassion, empathy, and selflessness. Michelangelo is an idealist, wishing to see the best in any and everyone he meets even some of his enemies. He's very warm and open-hearted, and well not as intellectually smart as Donatello, he shows a deep understanding of people's emotions and feelings and is able to read certain people like books. This gives him some skill in subtle psychological manipulation, such as using Raphael's temper an increasingly erratic attacks against him. He is also a very fast and adept learner. He is an avid fan of the superhero/sci-fi/horror genre, some of his favorites including "Godzilla", "Dracula", "Frankenstein", "Akira", "Spider-Man", "The Mummy", "Star Trek", "Star Wars", "The Tangler", "The Creature from the Black Lagoon", "X-Men", "Flash", "Superman", and more. He claims to have perfect recall, and is able to remember things in great detail. He is an avid skateboarder and seems to have fused his martial arts skills with his skating prowess. Michelangelo shows an advanced knowledge of the history and architecture of New York City and considers his favorite example of such to be the Flatiron Building. Good at thinking outside the box. Wildly unpredictable. Is said to have the most potential out of all four brothers. Michelangelo dreams of being a writer.
Man 5 years later and this STILL holds up so well. I love how each of the weapons is styled after the originals. The way "Mikey" jumps in the air with both chucks spinnin'. Perfect.
the only thing this is missing is a scene during or after the credits of all of them rolling on the floor in pain and Splinter smiling and brushing himself off. also, if they did a semi-reimagining of TMNT like this, I would not be mad...
Hamato Yoshi. The Hamato Patriarch. Born somewhere in or around the Japanese city of Osaka during the mid-late 60s or early 70s. As a child he aspired to be an artist and shared a close relationship with his adopted brother Oroku Saki, often calling him his best friend during those years. Often the two would play in the woods surrounding their home, pretending to be great warriors locked in battle or that they were having adventures with friendly spirits or yokai. The two of them were schooled in martial arts almost religiously under the watchful eye of Yoshi's father Hamato Yūta. He attended Osaka University at some point. Yoshi is a very spiritual man, often seen praying or meditating. He deeply values the warrior's code of Bushido, and is such disgusted by acts of dishonor or cowardice. A kind and loving father, often putting the needs of his children before his own, and always being there to support his children in any way he can. Though that's not to say Yoshi would hesitate to scold or discipline his children when it's absolutely necessary. A stern and patient sensei. Will often use his skills of stealth and deception to avoid confrontations and trouble. However, when forced to intervene directly in a situation Yoshi acts with focused and precise action. He wastes little motion and attempts to defeat his foes with as little effort as possible. Outside of members of the Foot Clan, Yoshi will avoid taking a human life if at all possible. In addition to his martial arts skills, Yoshi is also a skilled gardener, cook, teamaker, medic, and gambler. Raphael has noted It is nearly impossible to ever beat his father at cards.
I'm surprised by how perfect this video was. It captured everything from fighting styles to attitudes and personalities all without saying a word. I loved how Raph and Leo squared of and the others were just like, "here we go again. .." But in just an instant. Well done.
Raphael has always been my favorite. One reason is he is just a badass and another reason is his tendency to defy and take matters into his own hands (Yes, Michael Bay captured this awesomely) and ultimately always doing the right thing (while looking badass). The fact he wanted to fight Leo alone here and Leo then taking up his challenge was just an epic moment for me as it embodies their personalities so well. I definitely dig this :D
7 years later and this video is still one of the best TMNT tributes out there. I'm really sad that we never got to see more of these guys doing stuff like this or expanding upon this idea a little more. I come back and watch this video at least twice a month. Everything was practically awesome about this video. The music choice, a choreography and how each person portrayed each turtle damn near perfectly without saying a damn word. Would love to see more.
Other than the great choreography. You revealed some great emotions between the brothers as well. Raph who always wants to be better than Leo, and the love between them at the end where they chase Leo and are smiling. Awesome perception of a TMNT spar.
I keep coming back here once in a while because the video is just so good and captures everything about the turtles so perfectly. Will forever be grateful for this masterpiece
I love how it seems like them practice spontaneous team ups as well as handling multiple opponents alone.and that moment when Leo and raph single out the others to fight was perfect charecter presentation without dialogue.
This is soooooooo good! Love that you guys are still doing the "style" vids! I really loved the part when they're running after Leo with all the cuts to their smiling faces and it shows the brotherhood and the unity and the fun they have as a a family! WELL DONE!
As a Long time TMNT fan I just want to say thank you for all the hard work you guys put into this. If they reboot the tmnt movies after the New ones you guys should do the choreography! Also sweet MGRR music.
what really makes this for me is the attention to detail in the wardrobing and the personality of each character. the fighting is amazing, yeah, but the fact that each guy is dressed up in a style of clothing that fits the role they're playing (donnie with suspenders and glasses, raph with a bad boy ponytail, mikey wearing a surfer sleeveless shirt) just takes it to the next level. the body language is spot on. you can tell whoever did this had a lot of respect for the source material.
That was 1 million times better than the entirety of Liebesman's/Bay's atrocity. In like every single way. Martial arts(in that it featured them), a sense of fun(that isn't directly proportional to how much of Megan Fox's ass we can see), and brotherly camaraderie that was PALPABLE. I actually felt it, especially in that line-up shot near the end. And there was no goddamn dialogue! So impressive in every single way. And just makes me more depressed that we got what we got on the big screen last year. You guys deserve a lot more praise.
No matter how many times I watch this I can't get over how perfect it is. The chorography, the people in it, the camera transitions and music. No where have I ever seen someone fight with nunchucks in a way that showed their potential for flow of combat. How did It take me 6 years to find this video
Mo'Reale Wells you can easily pinpoint that this is gonna have better action than michael bays tmnt film. You'll probably see more explosions than anything
Not really many explosions in Ninja turtles but we will see what happens. This was a good skit yes, but to go as far as saying its better then the whole Michael Bay movie, naaaa.
Ok this needs to be a feature length film. Hell it could even be a mini film like Kung Fury. Doesn't need to be turtles at all could just be 4 orphan brothers who are being hunted because they have special genes or something, hence why they have to hide in places like sewers or abandoned warehouses or whatever. Maybe it's even a dystopian setting and is run by the company/PMC/Whatever that are hunting them thus learning ninjutsu is not only awesome but crucial. Insert a handful of subtle and not so subtle nods to the turtles and bam you got a movie. Now we just need a cute red head who looks good in yellow, and a main villain, obviously some kind of shredder inspired thing.
I think them being Yoshi and his wife Shen's biological children would be better. They and their father were the only ones to escape the Foot Clan and live.
This is a properly awesome homage to an already amazing series! Jimmy Chhiu and Micah Karns did an especially good job of capturing the spirits of Donatello and Michelangelo, in my opinion. Love this video.
Love how each turtle's personalities and quarks are showcased. Donnie uses a lot of feints and distraction to get in small, but hard strikes while maintaining distance. Mikey is getting at you with all angles out of the norm and is unpredictable. Raph is straightforward and constantly going for the kill. And Leo...well, that ending scene proves how good of a tactician he is. He realized taking on all his brothers in close proximity is a no go. So he runs away and forces his bros to create space amongst themselves, then he uses their speed and forward velocity against them to get in some solid strikes!
Six years later I come back to this and I would not be mad at all if y'all did more TMNT videos like this. This is what happens when you put forth the effort and actually respect the material. Well done to all involved, and it has only aged like a fine wine.
You would be happy to know that Brendon Huor who played Leo in this production, is actually working on the tmnt movie, I think he's either fight or stunt choreographer, meh, who knows, but I have a little bit more faith in this movie now, and Michael isn't actually the director, he's just one of the producers if I remember correctly
That was so cool. You managed to humanise the turtles without being all cute about it. You've completely captured the spirit and competitiveness of the brothers. I would love to see you maybe do a Splinter vs Shredder one-on-one scene.
The coordination is awesome!! Like no,seriously. The teamwork in the choreography is pretty neat. And this is only a small part of why this fight rocks. They truly are the ninja turtles!
this is truly an epic fan film. everything from the actors chosen to the design of the weapons (specifically liking what i could see of the sai) and the choreography...amazing. loved the smiles on all their faces when chasing leo. would love to see a sequel with hamato yoshi in on the fun.
Wow. This video is so dope. Way better than what Hollywood gives us. I actually felt the brotherly love at 2:47. It felt like I was watching the actual TMNT and it was wholesome. You really captured their personalities without having no one say a word. There fighting styles were on point 🔥🔥🔥
This video gives me an idea. You guys should do a video between four elemental benders, ala Avatar: The Last Airbender, having a four way throw down. It's never been done on the cartoon and it would be amazing to see it in real life, especially if you guys used each of the particular fighting styles of each bender.
You know, one thing that really bothered me about the series was that we never got to see any swordplay between Sokka and Zuko. I think it would have made a nice step back from the narrative to showcase some non-bending martial arts. As it is, we did get to see a (far too short) duel between Zuko and Jet, but that only lasted about 30 seconds of screen time.
EpicRival & 1K lbs, PLEASE do this!! It doesn't have to be extremely effects driven just a bad ass 4 way battle, where the effects are added where it counts. Please have a plot going on that drives the fight, you guys are so good at making your fight scenes mean something!! You'd be doing a hell of a beautiful series justice
AMAZING!!! Everyone played their turtle VERY well. Don and Mike sitting down to eat pizza while Raph and Leo have it out for minute…PERFECT!!! GREAT job!! Very well done.
Wow, are these guys professional stuntsmen? This is TONS better than the choreography I've seen in some action movies. Makes me have hope for good fight scenes again.
Have watched two of this channel's videos so far, and I love the way they do things. Great cinematography, amazing battles, and you literally tell a story without words. Wonderful, and I'll definitely be watching!
Man, it's really depressing that I can't support these guys in a big way. I'm poor and don't have a social media following. I'm so sorry. I discovered this video a few days ago, and I just can't stop watching it. This just may be my favorite video (excluding entire movies) of all time. I'm not exaggerating at all. The amazing choreography, the epic soundtrack, and all the awesome shots...just WOW!
And again you have made my jaw sore with smiles from your work. The joy of seeing my child hood heroes like this. Thank you for your amazing vision and great work
Do we all realize this is a million times better than the upcoming movie, right? Hollywood, thanks for ruining another part of my childhood. Epic Rival guys... thanks for bringing it back!
You know what's crazy to me, TMNT came out of a silly idea, something the creators just thought it would be absurd, however, there's a few thing that most people don't realize (I know a didn't for a lot of years) that show how much care was put on each character. It's all about the weapons given by Splinter, which were not given to them until they reached a certain age, this means Splinter handpicked a weapon with something in mind, being the absolute badass wise man/rat that he is, this is what he came up with. Leonardo, the leader who's always meant to be in control of his emotions, the one that has to lead everyone else and not let that drive him mad or get to his head, was given 2 katanas, the only weapon of the 4, designed to kill your oponent. Raphael, the most impulsive and aggresive of the 4, who's ruthless on his approachs and can be very close minded by trying to solve everything with violence, was given the Sai, a weapon designed 100% for defense. Michaelangelo, the most carefree of the bunch, the one who takes everything for granted and doesn't put effort in most things except playing around and eating, was given the Nunchucks, the most technical and focus heavy weapon of the 4. Donatello, who's an intelectual and loves creating, studying, researching, the one with most gimmicks and gadgets, was give a Bo, something that's basically just a stick. Every character was designed to have a huge flaw and a weapon that will teach them how to handle that flaw, you wouldn't think these 4 had this much heart put into them with how silly and parody-like everything is, but you gotta admit, details like that make something stand out.
What I love about this video is how much fun they all seem to be having. That part where they were all chasing Leonardo and smiling made me remember that this is four brothers just having the time of their lives.
Love that they used Metal Gear Rising music..Perfect with the combat.10/10.Always love the balance of the TMNT.Two users use Metal and two users use Wood.Well balanced team sic af😎
dimsumboy22 Honestly you never know. Most people thought that no matter how much people wanted another Naruto video they would never make one and well...they are making one. So never say never and just continue to let them know.
Man, coming back to this from time to time and always having that same hype-filled emotion in me to do something similar lol. I can't get over how bonkers action-packed this well-put tribute is. there's so much passion and chemistry that just works, and the selection of the music is just- it's funny to me that the selection was ahead of its time and is now a meme classic. What a lovely contemporary work that I can watch over and over again, love it
What I love about this is that it embodies how the turtles' weapons and fighting styles reflect their personalities. Michelangelo is fast, wild, and unpredictable, Donatello is stable and fights from a distance, Raphael is aggressive and up-close, and Leonardo is practiced and precise.

Mikey is the yolo guy lol.
Why is this great g r e a t this cool good no who are your fav tmnt
Heroes in a half shell always show why are the best green machine in ninjutsu
In 3 minutes, in give us a better tribute to TMNT than the michael bay's movie.
MJPriseCenter i hope these guys make a battle against the Shredder or maybe a one on one between Leo and Karai
MrWweytnafan I'd be happy just to have a four on one against Splinter
You see the characters' personalities throughout, you see Leo and Ralph's rivalry, you see some fantastic fighting, excellent camera angles, every emotion is felt without them having to say anything, AND I mean come one they sit down and eat pizza in the middle. STILL love this vid in 2023! This vid deserves at least 10mil views by now smh
2024 and whenever I need a fun video to make the stress go away this is my favorite.
Mickey's helicopter jump got me all kinds of nostalgic, love, all my love
the only thing this is missing is a scene during or after the credits of all of them rolling on the floor in pain and Splinter smiling and brushing himself off.
also, if they did a semi-reimagining of TMNT like this, I would not be mad...
That would've made this video better than it already is. I'm on board with it.
And then splinter chuckles but slightly and says “Oh how you’ve grown my sons”
Or after they lose, Splinter makes them all do ten back handsprings.

You're right
So true
They're part of Hollywood tho
They are actually stuntmen from hollywood movies. Watch their bio and insta.
Other than the great choreography. You revealed some great emotions between the brothers as well.
Raph who always wants to be better than Leo, and the love between them at the end where they chase Leo and are smiling.
Awesome perception of a TMNT spar.
The next TMNT movie that's made better call upon you guys. Not since the original live-action has there been a fight sequence so good!

Mo'Reale Wells
you can easily pinpoint that this is gonna have better action than michael bays tmnt film.
+Roninkaits And Casey. Don't forget Casey ;)
Please. PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN! This was top notch epic!
I think them being Yoshi and his wife Shen's biological children would be better. They and their father were the only ones to escape the Foot Clan and live.
We need a movie like this
This is a properly awesome homage to an already amazing series!
Jimmy Chhiu and Micah Karns did an especially good job of capturing the spirits of Donatello and Michelangelo, in my opinion. Love this video.
Awesome work!
This is the best!! I love TMNT I hope this movie rocks
I keep coming back to this video. It is so beautiful and perfect in so many ways. The choreography, the music, the performances, the styles.
Teenage Heroes Ninja Brothers. This so needed to happen. Way better than Michael Bay crap!
That is how I and every group of friends THOUGHT we looked when we played Ninja Turtles outside!
7 years later and this video still gives me goosebumpies...
Six years later I come back to this and I would not be mad at all if y'all did more TMNT videos like this. This is what happens when you put forth the effort and actually respect the material. Well done to all involved, and it has only aged like a fine wine.
No words to describe how awesome this is. Bay needs to take some damn notes.
Hell yes
Ditto. I'm floored and soo happy I found this.
Sweet
zippoxl91
he is splinters double. dope!
Very well done. Love the look and choreography on this one. It really does feel like the Turtles in human form.
That was so cool. You managed to humanise the turtles without being all cute about it. You've completely captured the spirit and competitiveness of the brothers. I would love to see you maybe do a Splinter vs Shredder one-on-one scene.
the guy playing leonardo is master splinter's stunt double in the new movie, so technically you will see that lol
Trikuza5
Wow really? Thats awesome
Don:Fight?
Mike:Fight
Don:Pizza?
Mike:Pizza
lol
10 years on, and countless views later, this still holds up and I still love it. And now, post Last Ronin, it hits even harder!
If they decide to make another reboot of teenage mutant ninja turtles, these guys would be perfect for those roles !
This is a GENIUS idea! Replacing the turtles with humans, yet you still know who's who.
Came here for Brendon, stayed for the entire troupe. Wait does this mean we could get a Rock Lee vs Neji Dream Bout? Fighting Dreamers pt 2!
Such a good song. I'm glad it's become a meme and more people are hearing it.
What is the song name?
Still watching in 2024.... and still one of the best choreography pieces I've seen
Awesome these guys are the Embodiment of the ninja turtles
This will never not be amazing! Deserves so much more publicity!
This is... this is the most amazing thing I have seen on the internet in ... ever.
Hell ya. You guys nailed that! The choreography, the personification of the turtles with the outfits, the sibling rivalry...and pizza!
10年経っても色あせないかっこよさ!
本当に最高にクール!
From japan
The coordination is awesome!! Like no,seriously. The teamwork in the choreography is pretty neat. And this is only a small part of why this fight rocks. They truly are the ninja turtles!
Let them fight Splinter. That's all I need in life. Please.
WE NEED A PART 2 PLEASEEEEE
Just came here after seeing a quick clip on a Cracked.com video. amazing stuff, glad I got a chance to find this.
Dan Peters same here
+Blake Bezerra same here
+Dan Peters same here! This is amazing. Thanks Cracked.com!!!
I'm actually surprised that after 2 years this video still hasn't broken 1 million views.
this is truly an epic fan film. everything from the actors chosen to the design of the weapons (specifically liking what i could see of the sai) and the choreography...amazing. loved the smiles on all their faces when chasing leo. would love to see a sequel with hamato yoshi in on the fun.
Its amazing how a bunch of fans can put stuff like this together
Wow. This video is so dope. Way better than what Hollywood gives us. I actually felt the brotherly love at 2:47. It felt like I was watching the actual TMNT and it was wholesome. You really captured their personalities without having no one say a word. There fighting styles were on point 🔥🔥🔥
I quite admire the nunchaku!
is an extremely deadly weapon in the right hand!
And can reach incredible speed
Google Translator -.-
I do not speak english!
And it's pretty deadly in the left hand too!
It's pretty useless really. Bruce Lee used to say so himself xD
This video gives me an idea. You guys should do a video between four elemental benders, ala Avatar: The Last Airbender, having a four way throw down. It's never been done on the cartoon and it would be amazing to see it in real life, especially if you guys used each of the particular fighting styles of each bender.
It would be a lot better than that terrible M. Night Shyamalan crapfest, I'm sure.
Oh PllEease DO IT.
I was thinking the same thing
This would be AMAZING!!
Alll the childhood memories just came flooding back!
AMAZING!!! Everyone played their turtle VERY well. Don and Mike sitting down to eat pizza while Raph and Leo have it out for minute…PERFECT!!! GREAT job!! Very well done.
*Sees ending of video* ...And then they proceeded to have the pepperoni kicked out of them. ;)
Wish we could have seen it.
PART 2!!!!! And Part 3 could be them vs Shredder
Can we petition to make a another tmnt movie but with this reimaging of it. I like this group :)
The 4: how are you so strong?!?
Splinter: training son, i perfected it while teaching you individually
I can get down with this if they made a human version tmnt... just so perfect.
This is way better than TMNT 2014 movie and 2016 I think
And yet its been said that Mikey has the most fighting potential.
Had to come back in 2019. I love this so much makes me want to get back to my TKD
2:42 love how Donatello is having fun in the back
What I love about this video is how much fun they all seem to be having. That part where they were all chasing Leonardo and smiling made me remember that this is four brothers just having the time of their lives.
All we need now is a part 2
This is better than that crap Bay is going to put out.
Yeah. And this video is made better with the fact that there's no Megan Fox in this one.
SENSACIONAL!!! Espero muito que tenha uma continuação, com a luta deles com o Splinter e depois com o Shredder...
I CAN'T STOP!!! MUST HIT REPLAY
Still watching and rewatching in 2024. One of my all time favorite videos
This is the best rendition of the TMNT ever. Congrats for the amazing work.
Love that they used Metal Gear Rising music..Perfect with the combat.10/10.Always love the balance of the TMNT.Two users use Metal and two users use Wood.Well balanced team sic af😎
alright dudes, lets see part 2 with the big bad shredder. I know you guys can do it!
Don't forget the army of Foot Clan they have to go through first
dont tease me with the thoughts of a video that's never gonna happen
dimsumboy22 Honestly you never know. Most people thought that no matter how much people wanted another Naruto video they would never make one and well...they are making one. So never say never and just continue to let them know.
MacoGrande
it won't have Sasuke will it?
EternalStorm796 No idea. They only posted a teaser picture of a headband with the symbol of the Ninja Alliance.
This was dope af! I love tmnt and this was so much fun to watch! Soooo badass!!
Im so glad added this to my favorites playlist 7 years ago and now get to watch it with my sons.
The choreo in this is so legit!! :D I always loved Raff so I loved the showdown between him and Leo! Good work guys!
im like still waiting on a part 2 for this!! 4guys vs their master
that metal gear rising revengeance music...
2:35 The look Leo has on his face was like “Oh shit” 😂
Man, coming back to this from time to time and always having that same hype-filled emotion in me to do something similar lol.
I can't get over how bonkers action-packed this well-put tribute is. there's so much passion and chemistry that just works, and the selection of the music is just- it's funny to me that the selection was ahead of its time and is now a meme classic.
What a lovely contemporary work that I can watch over and over again, love it
That is one of the best choreographed fight scenes I have ever seen! Well done guys!
