I really like mine. I have the self empty bin. Only issue I had was the drop sensors did not allow the vacuum to go onto my area rug with a dark edge. After i figured out a work around it has been fine!! I suggested to Ecovacs that they should allow you the option to "mark" dark carpets so they machine will disable drop sensors when it gets near them.

How is the mapping on this one? Heard its very messy with the app. Any thoughts would help.
I've actually found it to be rather impressive. It even shows where the chairs are being avoided in the dining room.
I've actually heard the same thing. I've watched several videos saying that the map changes within the app, and the robot has to rescan the rooms. I bought the T8+ about 8 days ago though, and I have yet to have any issue with mapping. The map it scanned out originally is the same map it's used up until now with no hiccups

How do I set it up with Siri Shortcuts, @bmac?
Unfortunately I haven't found a way to set that up yet. I can say it is very easy to connect the DEEBOT with Alexa, however.

i own this robot. The port to auto-evacute the dust inside the bin is too small. Therefore, be prepared to empty the dustbin yourself EVERY TIME. Other then that, it works good. FAIL FAIL FAIL🤮😡
