Hi ! Great informative video! I just bought my T8 ! Plz let me k ow how to Map before starting ! Infact I stated with auto function ! The problem is that this left many places ( cleaned 50 % room ) without cleaning and some places did cleaning multiple times ! Is my instrument faulty ! Plz help if possible ! Thanks

What is the latest or best deebot mop as I don't know which is the best.
I have both this model and its previous one, they look similar except for the extra camera, but their positioning technologies are different. this one has a lot of lovely features, but in terms of the positioning function, the older one is more reliable.
Can the T8 AIVI operate at night/in the dark?

The T8 AIVI currently on Amazon doesn't come with the OZMO PRO vibrating mopping attachment. How did you get one in your box? come in your box? :-) Also, can the robot operate at night/in the dark?
Nice video I was torn between the Deebot T8 AIVI or the Roborock S6 Maxv, And even though the Maxv had slightly better reviews the deciding factor was the Auto-Empty bin for the Deebot which makes cleaning easier.

@@Torulv Actually if you look online The Roborock S6 Maxv have slight better reviews, Most dealing with Mapping issues which i think Ecovacs software updates fixes the kinks since then
I watched a bunch of videos and finally decided on the S6 MaxV for me - only to find out they are not in stock anywhere. Emailed the company and they replied blaming Covid and saying “we are not sure when it will be available”.
With the mopping - can it vac and mop at the same time. I’d like to know it was doing hardwood flooring with vac and mop, would it then turn the mop off automatically moving into a carpet area?
Or can you only run the mop in that single mode?
The mrs would fill me in if I bought her that 😂😂

Can you view the live video from the camera while it’s vacuuming? Even when you’re away from home? Can you record video or just photos?
Hello! Unfortunately you can't view it while it's vacuuming! You can view it when it's not running. As far as I'm aware, it's just photos you can capture! But you can remotely control away from home via the app and use the camera to help you navigate.

I am pretty sure that's possible. In the app you would add both vacuums. Then turn on multifloor and map out each floor with each robot. For 100% clarification though, you might want to ask ECOVACS support

I got this vaccuum a month ago and the app is terrible. The map duplicates and overlaps itself, and then some reason tilts itself 30 degrees so the robot is running off of two maps that are combined into a clusterfuck. The robot thinks there are walls where there is not, and then it cannot find its way back to the charge station. Such a bummer the app sucks when the robot is great. You can google deebot map overlap and see the problem
My background was in payment systems cyber security, so am opposed to personal data/habits/pictures/videos online. More so with a family. "Dumb" robots using mathematical algorithms clean almost as quickly, but capture no data and are "unconnected". They also cost significantly less. Peace

I don’t understand. This robot gets good video reviews but very poor actual user reviews.
Because all of us video reviewers are all liars hahaha!! It's a great vacuum when I used it, didn't have any issues! When reading reviews online though a couple of bad user reviews stick out more than positive reviews.
Because the vacuum is the bees knees! The low reviews are do to the app. It’s sucks ! Big time! The vac is only as good as the app. Some people never had app issues. Others, like me, have experienced nothing but app issues.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Anti drop sensors keep this unit from doing its job. You will have to reset anti drop sensors 15 to 20 times in a week. You must be supervising this unit all the time, otherwise it will not do the job as anti drop sensors needs a lot of attention. There is no DISABLE OPTION feature in the app to disable the ANTI DROP sensors, and many people have been complaining about that issue since 2019. So far, NO UPDATES on the app. Another issue, the ECOVACS Deebot T8 AIVI Robot reset maps 2 to 4 times in a month, which is a headache. STAY WAY from ECOVACS products because it’s not worth it and buy a better well know brand on the market. I think this vacuum is like a test version to find out problems where people can complain.

Worst robot that I have ever used. Stay away from the brand. Worst robot that I have ever used and there is no international product support as a waranty. Even light after 3 months of light usage, you will have DToF laser malfunctioning error and there is no support for this. This is my regret to pay good amount of money while I had a lot of options i had this price range. I dont recommend at all
